I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

You just lost your people, but she lost her love!Liu Chen killed anyone who stood in his way, even Buddhas, and pushed forward to the capital of Chu by himself, which goes without saying.

He fought Zhan Gucheng one-on-one, severely wounding him and forcing him to flee in disarray.

Liu Chen, by his own power, even broke the capital’s protective formation, a feat that alarmed the Great Chu Supreme Emperor, who was the former dynasty’s Prime Minister.

A world-shaking battle erupted between the two, with every move being lethal.

The two kept ascending, fighting all the way to the highest reaches of the Eternal Immortal Domain, on the verge of breaking out of the Immortal Domain and entering the endless starry sky.

The outcome was, of course, obvious.

How could the revenge of a Child of Destiny ever fail?!

Even a powerful figure like the Great Chu Supreme Emperor was no match for Liu Chen.

Liu Chen merely expended a bit more effort to defeat him, leaving him disarmed and with his right arm severed.

The Supreme Emperor had no choice but to retreat to the ancestral land within the imperial city, activating its final protective formation to prolong his dying breath.

This battle concluded with Liu Chen’s great victory and the restoration of the Jing Dynasty.

However, the pursuit of the usurper was blocked by the protective formation, preventing a swift reckoning.

Unable to breach it, they could only besiege it, hoping to exhaust the great formation and wear it down.

They had expected it would take hundreds or thousands of years to finally eliminate their enemy, but unexpectedly, in the second month of the Jing Dynasty’s restoration,

the Great Chu Empress, the Prime Minister’s daughter, and Liu Chen’s childhood sweetheart, appeared in the Jing Dynasty’s imperial court, carrying the Prime Minister’s head.

Everyone was stunned. What was this? Were they dreaming?

”Shen Biru, what is the meaning of this?”

Liu Chen, clad in imperial robes and radiating precious Qi, sat upon the throne, imbued with Luck, subtly manifesting Dragon Luck.

He looked down at the newcomer with the intimidating presence of a Supreme Emperor, his gaze encompassing the entire court.

He looked at the woman with complicated emotions, the woman who had once haunted his dreams, whom he had longed to be with.

She was also the woman who had caused him such heartbreak, whom he had wanted to kill every single day.

But the moment they met, he found that even though she had killed him on their wedding night, he still couldn’t bring himself to harm her.

Shen Biru’s gaze was sometimes vacant, sometimes complex, tinged with guilt, as she looked at the person on the throne.

After a long while, she finally spoke softly, ”Today, I have come to die.”

”Your enemy has been killed by me, and I am also the enemy you wish to kill. I only ask that after you kill me, you do not make things difficult for my subordinates.”

”Let them live.” Saying this, she threw out the corpse of the Great Chu Supreme Emperor.

Everyone present was shocked. How was this possible?!

This...

After saying this, tears welled up in her eyes, and with guilt mixed with deep affection, she looked at Liu Chen on the platform.

Two streams of clear tears slid down her eyes, and her exquisite face revealed an exceptionally strong emotion of sorrow.

Even more unbelievably, this caused Liu Chen’s heart to twist in agony!

”I know you won’t believe it when I say it, but I truly didn’t try to kill you. However, the truth no longer matters.”

With that, Shen Biru drew a sword, which was precisely the gift Liu Chen had given her when he was young: the Mandarin Duck Sword.

Before Liu Chen could react, Shen Biru held the sword to her neck, revealing a tragic smile, yet there was no fear in her eyes; instead, there was liberation, a sense of relief from a vanished restraint...

”Farewell.”

Shen Biru closed her eyes and, with a decisive motion, a cold, gray, stagnant Death Qi erupted from the blade and infiltrated her immortal body.

A jade-like body instantly lost its color.

She was dressed in the red long dress from their wedding night, adorned with a golden Phoenix crown and ceremonial robes, and a golden Phoenix hairpin with jade hairpins, as if reliving that wedding night from ten thousand years ago.

As the Death Qi spread, Shen Biru’s life force dissipated. In less than fifteen minutes, she would be completely dead and her Dao extinguished.

Liu Chen’s heart was deeply stirred.

What was she saying?

Did she have some unspeakable secret? Was she hiding something from him? Why did her eyes show a look of relief?

One mystery after another entangled Liu Chen’s heart.

He felt that the events of ten thousand years ago were not as simple as he had imagined.

Recalling every moment of their past, every second Shen Biru spent with him, even though they had never had any intimate contact, he felt their affection was as deep as the sea.

She would always happily accept the many gifts he gave her and sweetly call him Brother Liu Chen.

She had said that only he was worthy of her calling him Brother Liu Chen. Such unique love, how could she bear to kill him?!

Suddenly, a mass of grayish-black mist dispersed from Shen Biru’s already fading body.

Within it, a seductive female voice echoed.

”Damn it, how dare you suppress me.”

”Stupid woman, for the sake of a dog of a man, you actually seek death. How utterly foolish!”

While Liu Chen was still pondering, a mass of gray Qi that had emerged from Shen Biru’s body actually condensed into a beautiful woman who looked exactly like Shen Biru.

The only difference was that this woman made of gray mist was incredibly enchanting, and her tone was filled with disdain, looking at everyone with utter contempt.

Then, she transformed into wisps of smoke and vanished.

Only Shen Biru remained, her face pale and clinging to life, collapsed on the ground.

Even though she was on the verge of death, a relaxed smile still graced her face, which was completely inconsistent with the usual mindset of someone dying.

There must be a problem!

Liu Chen concluded in his heart.

In fact, from the first moment he saw Shen Biru, Liu Chen had already made up his mind; he truly, deep down, still deeply loved the woman who had stabbed him.

He didn’t want her to die, but he needed an excuse to spare her, and now, an excuse had appeared!

There was more to this matter than met the eye!

Liu Chen flew down from the imperial throne. He instructed the palace maids to help Shen Biru up, while he himself took out a healing immortal medicine he had treasured for many years and fed it to her.

Many of the officials in the imperial court were from the previous dynasty, loyal subjects who had followed the Liu imperial Family and fought alongside Liu Chen to restore the kingdom.

Many of them had been persecuted by the Shen Family for refusing to obey the Great Chu Immortal Dynasty’s conscription, and thus held a deep-seated blood feud with the Great Chu Immortal Dynasty.

They wished for the entire Shen Family to be wiped out, not a single one left!

Seeing Liu Chen save Shen Biru, the former Empress, someone immediately stepped forward and said, ”Your Majesty, what are you doing?”

”She is our enemy, Your Majesty. Why would you waste divine medicine to save her?”

”I clearly remember her ruthlessness. All eighty-seven thousand five hundred thirty-one members of my Wu Family were exterminated, even their ten collateral families, just because someone spoke ill of her.”

Liu Chen was unconcerned.

”There’s more to this matter than meets the eye. She cannot die without clarity.”

Ignoring them, Liu Chen felt the treatment was difficult, and he even unhesitatingly sacrificed his Foundation true essence to save her.

The atmosphere in the court was somewhat heavy, as many people were discontent, leading to a somewhat oppressive mood.

Liu Chen keenly sensed this and said, ”I just want to clarify the facts and see who is truly supporting her from behind the scenes.”

”If you have grievances, do I not also?”

”In that catastrophe ten thousand years ago, tens of millions of my Liu Family members were eradicated, leaving only me and a dozen or so blood relatives.”

”Is your hatred as deep as mine?”

Everyone fell silent.

Liu Chen said, ”Don’t worry, I just want to find out the truth, nothing more.”

His words gained approval, and even those who didn’t approve dared not say much.

”I hope Your Majesty remembers what you said today.”

...

The next day.

Liu Chen publicly announced his intention to make Shen Biru his Empress.

This left the officials dumbfounded. No, you can make anyone your Empress, but why would you make the daughter of the person who exterminated your entire clan your Empress?

Is the power of childhood sweethearts really that strong?

Making an Empress is not a matter of emotion; it’s a matter of vested interests!

Immediately, some courtiers objected.

However, they were all refuted one by one as Liu Chen explained the reason.

It turned out that Shen Biru was controlled at that time.

She killed Liu Chen because she was being controlled and unable to control her own actions, and she had lived in torment for these ten thousand years.

No, the fault was not with Shen Biru!

As soon as this explanation came out, everyone exploded.

What kind of ridiculous explanation is this? This woman ordered the extermination of the entire Liu clan, and you’re not executing her but making her your Empress?

Are you possessed by a puppet? Is it true that you must have your childhood sweetheart?!

But Liu Chen remained self-willed, claiming Shen Biru was innocent.

When the topic of Shen Biru exterminating the Liu clan was brought up,

Liu Chen responded thus:

”To give me the motivation to Cultivate, she did not hesitate to personally kill my entire clan and bear the blood feud.

Only then could I have endless motivation to Cultivate. She loves me so much that she could kill my entire Family for my growth. How much courage must that have taken!

If this truth hadn’t been discovered, she would have died unjustly because of my hatred.”

”Killing my clansmen was merely her painstaking effort, you don’t understand!”

”You lost your clansmen, but she lost love!”

Liu Chen’s remarks caused all the officials’ CPUs to burn out. What kind of Heaven-Defying rhetoric was this? Is this logic that a carbon-based life form could come up with...?

Someone else wanted to retort, but Liu Chen directly issued a ban.

”My decision is final.”

”Anyone who objects again will be executed without mercy!”

Shen Biru had been recuperating, using various excuses to avoid meeting Liu Chen, to show how guilty she felt and how she couldn’t face him.

In reality, Shen Biru was perfectly fine.

Inside Shen Biru’s palace.

A wisp of gray Qi hovered above her head, condensing into a face identical to hers.

”You scared me to death, I almost lost my life,” the gray Qi said, still shaken.

”There was no other way; I had to resort to this. If I didn’t truly die in front of him once, he wouldn’t believe it.”

The gray Qi asked, ”How did you know he would save you? What if he hadn’t saved you? Wouldn’t you have died?”

Shen Biru’s beautiful face revealed a pitiful expression, and she said softly, ”Then there’s nothing I can do. If I die, I die.”

”However, I wasn’t blindly gambling my life, because I know his weakness. He can’t stand to see me suffer, and he’ll give me whatever I want.”

”I remember ten thousand years ago, he even secretly took me to see the imperial seal and told me about the secret passages, the location of the great formations, and the distribution of troops. He even vowed to marry me and make me his Empress.”

”He always wanted to make progress with me, so I kept him on a string, and he even enjoyed it.

Every time, I would give him some verbal hints but never act on them. He even had to send me gifts just to see me, living like a turtle.”

”It’s too easy to manipulate him.”

”As for touching me? No way! He has no ambition at all. My man can’t be as weak as him; at the very least, he needs to be able to conquer me.”

Shen Biru said disdainfully, looking down on Liu Chen greatly, while also yearning for the appearance of the man who could make her submit.

The gray Qi clicked its tongue in admiration, ”Is that so? You seem quite naughty.”

”It’s not being naughty, it’s that I look down on him. I don’t know where he got his Luck.

He has no great ambitions, his head is full of romance, yet he can come back from the dead and grow into a Taiyi Golden Immortal Realm existence in ten thousand years. Heaven must be blind!

Next time I kill him, I must destroy his soul as well, so he can’t be reborn.”

Shen Biru said.

Just then, a knock came from outside the door.

Frightened, the gray Qi immediately burrowed into her body and disappeared.

A soft voice came from outside the door. Who else could it be but Liu Chen?

”Bi Ru, are you alright? Do you need me to arrange an imperial physician for you?”

”You should leave. I have no face to see you.” Shen Biru’s expression was normal, but her tone was filled with overwhelming guilt.

It must be said, there was a reason Liu Chen was deceived.

”Don’t think like that. I forgive you, and I still promise to make you my Empress.”

”You... are you serious?” Shen Biru’s eyes lit up, a little overwhelmed by the unexpected favor.

”Of course, my love for you is as clear as the sun and moon!”

”Brother Liu Chen, you’re so good to me. I’m a bad woman, I don’t deserve you...”

Her voice was tearful and mournful, enough to make anyone pity her!

That one address of ”Brother Liu Chen” immediately made Liu Chen’s head feel hot. He immediately said, ”Don’t think that way. Besides you, I, Liu Chen, want no one else.”

”Oh, right. This is a fragment of a Sacred Artifact I obtained. I’ve already comprehended many immortal techniques from it. Recently, I’ve been busy with state affairs and haven’t had time to comprehend it, so I’ll give it to you.”

A flying flower drifted through the door and landed in Shen Biru’s hand. The profound and powerful Sacred Rhyme within it made Shen Biru’s eyes light up.

Shen Biru still wanted to refuse a few words, even though she wouldn’t give it back, she still had to say the polite words.

But she didn’t have the chance.

”Alright, it’s settled then. I still have matters to attend to. You rest and recover.”

She didn’t even have a chance to refuse.

Shen Biru’s disdain for him deepened. As expected, he had Luck but no brains.

...

Xiao Fan was living very well in Yaochi Immortal Palace, but he also needed some seasoning, so he took a break from his busy schedule and went to Eternal Immortal City to play with Luo Ruyan.

They enjoyed the scenery, listened to her play music and dance, and she went out of her way to please him. Under Xiao Fan’s guidance, Luo Ruyan became increasingly charming, serving him with utmost gentleness and care.

Whatever Xiao Fan asked her to do, she would complete without hesitation.

This day, Xiao Fan sat in the courtyard, listening to Luo Ruyan sing music in his ear. Her voice was sweet, like a heavenly melody, and her affection was endless, like an unbreakable bond of tenderness and sweetness.

In front of Xiao Fan, although she was a little shy, she still tried her best to fulfill his strange requests, playing various roles such as a physician, Revered Master, Empress, innocent Junior Sister, and so on, posing seductively in front of him.

The story always ended with a hearty two-person Cultivation. It was very embarrassing, and very proactive.

”Xiao Lang, you’re so naughty. All you know is writing those strange stories and making this servant act them out.”

”It’s so embarrassing!”

Luo Ruyan sat beside him, embracing his powerful waist with tender affection, burying her pretty face in his arms, feeling his warmth, broadness, and strength, which gave her an extreme sense of security.

This man was too good. He was wealthy, had unparalleled immortal grace, and even made time to accompany her. He was truly a rare find.

Luo Ruyan always felt she was punching above her weight, so she was extremely moved by Xiao Fan’s tenderness and care. This man truly cared for her!

Xiao Fan, meanwhile, whispered sweet nothings into her ear.

Luo Ruyan’s delicate body trembled slightly, her heart blossomed with joy, and she giggled, hugging him even tighter.

Heh heh, women, you can’t just be good to them and say nice things; you also have to control their emotions from both physical and mental aspects.

Especially, you need to create a sense of being close yet distant.

You have to be good to her, but not too good.

”Are you bored here? I feel like it’s been a long time since I accompanied you out for a stroll,” Xiao Fan said.

Accompany Luo Ruyan for a stroll? This was just his rhetoric.

Essentially, he himself wanted to go for a stroll.

But by changing the rhetoric, making it sound like he wanted to accompany her, he created a sense of importance, as if he was making time for her, willing to sacrifice for her.

The art of language!

Luo Ruyan looked up, gazing at the man who had her heart in turmoil with eyes full of affection, feeling his deep love.

She could no longer distinguish what she wanted; she only knew that whatever this man wanted, she would give him, obeying unconditionally.

”Really, really?” Luo Ruyan’s heart fluttered, and she couldn’t help but smile radiantly, feeling very joyful.

”Of course, would I lie to you?”

He lowered his head and kissed Luo Ruyan’s forehead. Luo Ruyan’s delicate body trembled slightly, feeling as if her body was melting, like a surging spring tide, surging powerfully.

”Then let’s go for a walk. I’ll listen to whatever you say.”

”Alright, let’s go!”
