The Broken Halo

While First Blade was having a mental breakdown as he contemplated on what his next step should be, many demons in the audience were watching the confrontation between two Supreme Greater Demons with wide eyes.

They were extremely excited because many of them could die without seeing a battle between two Greater Demons.

At the back of their minds, they knew that if a fight should truly break out, their lives would be in danger and the Death Arena could be completely destroyed if it was not protected.

However, they were demons and they loved chaos.

Their bloods boiled with excitement, and their hearts began to beat loudly as they watched the confrontation between the First Blade and Ormon.

As for the First Blade, he finally came to a decision.

’Now that I think about it, isn’t this an opportunity for me?’

His killing intent began to reduce, and his eyes flickered with a dark and calculating glint.

’This Broken Halo is a slave, a First Year who has not even spent up to a month in the clan, and he’s also a Fiend…’

’… But even with all these, he was able to kill Blackblade whom I nurtured and who also had two Sovereign ranked artifacts?’

He narrowed his eyes and for a moment, his eyes flickered with excitement the more he looked at Simon.

’Doesn’t this mean that this slave is even more talented than my useless dead disciple?’

’I heard that he only has a Common Bloodline, but only fools would believe that his bloodline is limiting him.’

’He definitely has a secret, and even if he doesn’t, I can use him as a replacement for my disciple.’

The First Blade’s eyes flashed with a dark and cruel glow, and his killing intent vanished.

Ormon narrowed his eyes when he saw this, and even some members of the clan narrowed their eyes when they perceived this development.

’And throughout the fight, I noticed that he was fighting like a swordsman, which means he has a hidden and unexplored talent with the sword.’

’I’ve decided… I want him.’

His lips curled up into an excited smile, and he lowered his sword slightly.

“Ormon. Let’s make a deal.”

Ormon tilted his head slightly and gave First Blade a suspicious look.

“What’s got you all excited, old man? Thinking about all the old titties you gonna suck and press?”

The right eye of the First Blade twitched, but he reeled in his annoyance and anger.

“Give me that boy, and I won’t fight you or get back at you for defying me.”

Ormon blinked, then he suddenly held his stomach with one of his lower hands and laughed loudly.

His laugh filled the entire Death Arena, forcing those who were concentrating on something else to look at him.

As for Simon, he was cursing Ormon internally because as Ormon was laughing, his shoulders were shaking and Simon’s gravely injured body was jumping up and down on his shoulder.

And it hurt him so badly.

As for some demons, they were looking at the exposed breasts of the female demon, and the sight of it jumping up and down was a work of art.

Ormon wiped a tear from one of his eyes, then he looked at the First Blade with a wide smile.

“Old man, you can’t do shit to me.”

His grin widened, and the expression of the First Blade became uglier than it was when Ormon was laughing.

Ormon scoffed with utter disdain.

“Get back at me? As if!”

“First of all, you can never defeat me. Secondly, don’t you have other enemies? Isn’t that the reason why your weak disciples died?”

“Do you think you can handle me and your enemies?”

Ormon folded his lower arms and scoffed.

“They say that the older one is, the wiser they are. But I guess it’s the reverse for yours.”

Every single sentence of Ormon caused the First Blade’s killing intent to rise and rise and rise and rise, till he could no longer take it anymore.

His body flickered, and in the next moment, the ground behind him shattered into pieces.

Rocks, sand, and debris flew to the audience, causing some of the demons to scramble for their lives.

In that same moment, First Blade was already before Ormon, and his silver blade was already a few inches in front of Ormon’s neck.

The silver blade was molten red hot, and because of how close he was to the blade, he could feel the absurd amount of heat that was contained in the blade.

For a moment, he wondered if he was safe.

Ormon’s lips curled into a smile of mockery.

“Too slow.”

First Blade’s expression changed, and he twisted his body at the very last second.

Boom!

A powerful shockwave furthered shattered and destroyed the floor of the arena, and First Blade was sent flying due to the shockwave.

He tumbled a few times amidst the flying debris, and whatever debris that came his way was cut into pieces once it touched his demonic energy.

He stabbed his sword in the ground, and a deep and long cut appeared on the floor of the arena as he slowly came to a stop.

First Blade looked at his waist, and his expression became more solemn when he saw the dark bruise on the edge of his waist.

’It barely grazed me and I’m already bleeding internally.’

He looked in front of him, and he could see Ormon clearly despite the dust that was in the air.

’If not for my experience in combat, it would have been too late for me to dodge it.’

He slowly got to his feet.

“Your fist technique is as absurd as your love for women.”

Ormon immediately shook his head and finger.

“No. No. No. I love women, but I love breasts more.”

First Blade’s lips twitched, then he released a deep sigh.

“Give me the boy. I’m not killing him, I want to make him my disciple.”

Ormon scoffed. “No.”

First Blade modded, having expected such a response.

He was about to speak, but his expression changed when a hand held his shoulder from behind him.

“That’s enough, First Blade.”
