Fully Leveled Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1594: Chapter 1594: Actually Earned a Hundred Coins

Holding the copper coins in their hands, listening to the clinking sound, a group of children had their faces flushed with excitement.

This was a hundred coins; they were young and had never earned a hundred coins before.

They hadn’t even earned ten coins, and a hundred coins could buy so many things.

Moreover, they were all quite young, the youngest being only six, and the oldest twelve at most, holding a hundred coins in their hands was like holding a mountain of gold and silver.

After Shu Yu finished distributing, she didn’t rush and waited for them to calm down their inner excitement before saying, “Thanks for your help yesterday, keep the money safe, whether you keep it yourself or give it to your parents, remember not to take it out when you go out, okay? Don’t expose your wealth, especially since you’re young, if you’re targeted by bad people, it could be dangerous.”

Everyone nodded seriously upon hearing this.

These kids were clever to begin with, otherwise, they wouldn’t have been chosen by Shu Yu to spread the word.

They all remembered Shu Yu’s instructions firmly.

The leader of the kids even assured, “Sister Village Chief, don’t worry. We’ll keep it hidden and only take it out when we get home.”

“That’s good, alright, you all can go back now.”

The kids left happily, and just before the leader left, he asked Shu Yu, “Sister Village Chief, if there’s another opportunity like this next time, can you call us again? We actually don’t need that much in wages.”

Shu Yu laughed, “Of course, you have experience now from this time, if needed next time, I’ll contact you again.”

The kids immediately felt content and left the store jumping with joy.

After watching them run off into the distance, Shu Yu turned around.

Wei Ronghua smiled and said, “These kids are quite clever. Many of the people who came into the shop yesterday said they heard about it from them. It seems the strategy worked well.”

Shu Yu nodded. Children, in their innocence and charm, sometimes capture adults’ attention even more when they make introductions.

They are all from ordinary families with average living conditions.

Take that twelve-year-old boy leading the group for instance; Shu Yu had seen him labor under his slender shoulders to carry goods for others.

Despite his strenuous efforts due to his young age and small strength, he carried little for half a day, yet the boss only gave him five coins.

But even with just those five coins, the boy was overjoyed and asked the boss to call on him for work next time.

The wages Shu Yu gave were actually quite high; in these times, even a strong laborer earned a maximum of 30 to 40 coins a day.

But Shu Yu was always generous, and even more so when it came to children, showing extra kindness.

Wei Ronghua didn’t say anything about it; the boss made money and was willing to do good, certainly bringing blessings in the future.

Did you not see, after the bonuses were handed out yesterday, how the staff worked even harder today?

After exchanging a few words with Shu Yu, he went to busy himself behind the counter.

Unexpectedly, Shu Yu took out another string of coins from her pouch and handed it over, “This is for Fangfang.”

Wei Ronghua instinctively refused, “Lord, I already received a bonus yesterday, Fangfang doesn’t need…”

“Why not? Fangfang was busy in the shop for half the day yesterday; she’s just a child, and it wasn’t easy for her. Effort deserves reward. I intended to give it to her personally if she came by today, but hearing you mention she went back to Donggu County with Hu Geng this morning, I’ll hand these copper coins to you; you must give them to her and let her decide whether to keep them herself or hand them to you.”
