Fully Leveled Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1562: Chapter 1562: Gathering Together

Shu Yu sat in the carriage waiting for quite a while, until Lu Tong discreetly came over and told her that the Xiao Family had already met with Zheng Biao and his wife, and had settled in, which allowed her to leave at ease.

By the time she returned to Lu’s Shop, it was already very late.

Wei Ronghua had bought half of the gifts listed by Shu Yu, leaving the rest to be bought the next day.

Since that day, Shu Yu had been staying at the shop, and the promotion of the shop became increasingly intense, nearly everyone in the Dongan Prefecture had heard about the soon-to-open Lu’s Shop located at Fengtao Lane.

However, in her spare time, Shu Yu still thought about any developments at Meng Yunzheng’s side, but it seemed nothing had happened all along.

Two days later, Fu Xiangdi and Madam Ruan came over.

They came to the prefecture to visit the cloth shop and deliver the finished clothes.

When An Letian received his clothes, he was so excited his face turned slightly red.

He was pushed by Ren Yiping to change into them, and when he returned, he didn’t know where to put his hands and feet.

The clothes were just too gorgeous; the upper part was a beige-grey, with special pattern embellishments on the cufflinks and collar. The lower part was navy blue, which wasn’t particularly special in color, but suitable for wearing outdoors.

Unlike the staff of other shops, these clothes weren’t loosely tied with just a simple cloth belt. The clothes had a fit, with the collar folded slightly at the neck. The sleeves were tapered, and somehow they had an elastic appearance, not hindering movement.

Wearing these clothes not only made one look upright, but their legs seemed to look much longer. Plus, the waist was cinched — goodness, the figure was fully showcased.

Especially since both Ren Yiping and An Letian possessed tall and lean builds, wearing these added a touch of elegance.

Shu Yu looked at An Letian’s attire with satisfaction, and thought, yes, very nice. With his looks, just standing at the door to greet guests would be eye-catching.

Shu Yu nodded, “Very good, just right.”

An Letian was a bit shy, “These clothes are too wonderful.”

In fact, when he heard that the shop would distribute clothes, he curiously asked Ren Yiping to let him see his set, and he thought they looked great back then, too. But seeing someone else wearing it and wearing it himself was a completely different feeling.

Shu Yu laughed, “If you like it, work hard in the future to earn money and have Yiren Pavilion make custom ones for you. Choose whatever fabric you want, wear whatever style you want.”

An Letian responded with a “hmm”, then carefully changed out of the clothes and stored them well in his room to wear again on the opening day.

Oh yes, the place he originally rented was subleased out, and he now lived in the backyard of the shop.

Time passed quickly, and soon it was the day before the opening.

On this day, not only were Shu Yu and the others there, but Daniu, Dazhuang, and Ruan Dali also came over.

Usually, two staff and one shopkeeper were enough for the shop, but on opening day there was sure to be chaos everywhere, definitely needing more people on hand.

Shu Yu saw Dazhuang’s delighted appearance and couldn’t help but ask, “I heard that you’re getting engaged to the Zhou family’s Second Young Lady? Have you set the date?”

Mentioning this, Dazhuang was clearly a bit shy, but his entire body radiated happiness, his eyes filled with pink bubbles.

He chuckled foolishly twice, “The date’s set, just three days later, on the third of September, we’ll go to the Zhou family to propose, and by then we’ll decide on the wedding date too.”
