She is the Side Character! — Watch Her Change her fate!

”Tan Ying’s Story”

My name is Tan Ying, my husband is Su Youcheng, and we have two children, our daughter Su Can and our son Su Yao.

Even though we live in the countryside and don’t have much money, our family is very happy. My husband is honest, hardworking, and obedient, with no trouble, making us one of the more content families in the village. Because of this, many people in the village gossip, thinking I’m too domineering and that my husband is bullied. Of course, they would only dare say it behind our backs; if I heard it, I wouldn’t tolerate such chatter.

Our daughter is incredibly smart. From a young age, she has filled the walls with awards. Every year, she receives scholarships, participates in many competitions, and schools fight over her; she was even guaranteed admission to college. Some people in the village say there is no need for a girl to study so much. Ha, either they’re old-fashioned or jealous of how outstanding our daughter is, wanting others to be worse off. My husband and I don’t fall for it.

Our girl is amazing. In middle school, she already knew how to tutor classmates for money.

Actually, making money is an adult’s business; a child’s task is to study well. But my husband and I couldn’t argue with our daughter, so we let her do as she pleased. Ever since she was little, our daughter was independent, and never gave us a hard time.

I remember when our young son got addicted to games, we were at a loss, not knowing how to persuade him. We had prepared for the possibility that he’d end up working in a factory tightening screws. But our daughter heard about this, and in just three days, she got our son back in line. His grades, which had dropped, gradually improved, finally easing our worries.

Before we knew it, our daughter had started college.

I remember that noon, my husband and I were busy in the fields when suddenly the new phone our daughter bought me rang.

Seeing it was a strange number from Ning City, I thought it was our daughter calling from someone else’s phone. But the caller instead informed me that my daughter was dead, and that she had jumped off a building.

In front of so many people at the school, she just jumped off without any hesitation. I saw the video.

I couldn’t believe it!

How could my daughter possibly jump to her death?

She’s so smart, so capable, she even visited us recently.

I didn’t believe it. My husband didn’t believe it. Our son didn’t believe it either. He said, no way his sister would commit suicide, there must be a conspiracy.

But even if we don’t believe it, the video indeed shows our daughter jumping off a building.

Our entire family rushed to Ning City, where we saw our daughter for the last time. Once so full of life, now lying there cold and even somewhat unrecognizable.

After bringing her home and burying her, I still couldn’t accept it as reality.

Until one day, we discovered the USB drive our daughter had left at home, holding the secret to her suicide.

And so, this led to us going to the school and causing a scene, crafting our image as parents who favored sons over daughters, seizing the chaos to deal with those who harmed our daughter.

Of course, my husband and I are just honest farmers; we’re not that crafty. Given our personalities, we wanted to rush to those responsible and hack them to pieces, but doing so would likely get us caught before we could finish.

I have another son, Su Yao, who’s quite clever, though not as smart as our daughter. Even so, he’s pretty good and secretly planned everything out, including how to eliminate them, timing, and using tools. If it weren’t my son, I’d find him a bit unsettling, wondering where he learned those things. But this was for avenging our daughter, so it doesn’t matter now. Once revenge is taken, I’ll give him a good beating!

Everything went perfectly, but a few unexpected things happened along the way.

Thankfully, our daughter’s vengeance was fulfilled.

”Su Yao’s Story”

My name is Su Yao, and I have an elder sister named Su Can.

My sister is very outstanding and also my role model.

As long as I don’t make mistakes, my sister treats me very well. Of course, if I mess up, I’m in for a good beating.

I’m very grateful to my sister. If it weren’t for her, in middle school, I might have turned into one of those rebellious kids skipping class, hanging out at internet cafes, getting piercings, dyeing hair, getting tattoos, starting relationships early, doing things a middle school student shouldn’t do. By the age of eighteen, the path would be working in a factory tightening screws, with no future.

It was my sister who pulled me back in time, allowing me to get back on track.

But then, one day when I returned home, I saw my parents with swollen eyes and learned from them that my sister had jumped to her death.

I don’t believe it!

That gentle and capable sister, how could she commit suicide?

Yet looking at the video footage, I couldn’t help but believe it was true—my sister really jumped. However, I still don’t believe my sister chose to jump willingly, but without evidence, what could I do as a high school student?

It wasn’t until after handling my sister’s funeral that I found the USB drive she had left at home, uncovering the truth behind her suicide.

I want revenge!

I want to kill those who harmed my sister.

I’m sure seeing what’s on the USB drive, my parents would want to do the same, right?

I really can’t wait, can’t afford to wait, thinking about those who harmed my sister still freely living makes me feel awful.

But with so many of them, wanting to quickly kill them all is difficult and requires careful planning.

After my parents saw the contents of the USB drive, they wanted to rush out to kill, even discussing who would go do it and who would stay home to take care of me. In the end, I rejected their plans, insisting it wouldn’t work, and that I had to be involved.

After hearing my plan, my parents were silent for several days, obviously not wanting me involved.

I responded by going through a rebellious phase, insisting if they didn’t agree, I would go myself, abandoning school altogether. They eventually relented.

We agreed they would follow my plan, they would take action, and if exposed afterward, I wouldn’t be involved. I agreed.

So, our family traveled to Ning City.

Following my plan, we did the preliminary work, then my parents went to the school to cause a scene, finally getting compensation and jobs at the school, starting to implement the plan.

When not studying, with my parents at Ning University, I could observe the environment there.

I have a good memory, especially in visualization and calculations; once seen, it’s hard to forget, considering this was very important.

My father works as a security guard at Ning University, and apart from entering and exiting the school gates, I would always try to stay out of the surveillance camera’s sight. Actually, many cameras at the school are broken, some cameras are functioning but don’t store recordings; they’re just for show, which greatly facilitated me.

I’ve secretly investigated my sister’s dorm mates and those in 4508. Additionally, the USB drive my sister left contained much information on them, enough to do what needed to be done.

In fact, there’s more—during the planning, I even gained helpers. With information gathered from them, my plan became more perfect. They seemed unaware of my intentions, but from our encounter, we implicitly understood we both had items left by my sister.

Actually, with the contents on the USB drive, we could have easily sent those people to prison.

But would just spending a few years in prison be enough? Especially those directly responsible for my sister’s death—they shouldn’t be able to end it with a few years behind bars.

They need to pay with their lives.

Unexpectedly, the plan encountered a deviation, something completely unforeseen.

It wasn’t that the plan was sabotaged, but... my sister turned into a ghost; she returned for revenge.

Once, she protected us with her life; now, as a ghost, she continues to protect us, preventing our hands from being stained with blood.

How could they have been so heartless towards someone so good?

Fortunately, they faced retribution, and we were able to see our sister one last time.

It was in a dream, but it certainly wasn’t just any dream. That day, my sister rambled a bunch, talked to us a lot, her voice still gentle, telling us to be well; she’s still so kind.

Of course, we will be well and will never let her down.

As for the past plan, what plan? We don’t know anything about it.

A certain Officer Zhao seems to have some suspicions, he’s very perceptive. If my sister’s ghost hadn’t appeared, we’re afraid we all would have been caught eventually, including me.

But if it really came to that, as long as it avenged my sister, it would be worth it.

Actually, Officer Zhao is quite good; I can feel he has been supportive of everything so far, enough to prove that he’s a person with a clear conscience.

Officer Zhao asked me what I want to do as a profession when I grow up, and I said a policeman.

He said that sounds good, and I think so too.

Remembering my sister in the dream saying, ”Ah Yao, as long as it’s the right thing, you can do anything you want without worrying; no one can hurt you.”

I told my sister I want to be a policeman, and she encouraged me to pursue it without hesitation.

So, sister, are you planning to stay by our side and protect us?

You’re so kind and just, you definitely are, right?

Bad guys, just wait. Wait for me, Su Yao, to grow up and become a policeman!
