A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1694: Enough Games

Archer watched as Tiamatʼs eyes snapped open, pupils blown wide, dragon-slitted and luminous. The sight of her writhing beneath him, taking him, begging with her body, nearly made him come again on the spot. ʼʼSay it,ʼʼ he demanded, angling his hips to hit that spot inside her that made her sob. ʼʼTell me who you belong to.ʼʼ

She bared her teeth in a feral grin, even as her walls fluttered around him. ʼʼYou,ʼʼ she hissed, voice shattering on the word. ʼʼAlways you, now fuck your goddess until she canʼt remember her own name!ʼʼ

He did just that. He drove into her like the world was ending, hips snapping, mouth claiming every cry she gave him. One hand snaked between them to circle her clit, and her whole body locked up. ʼʼArch, mmmmghh~~ Yes, right there, Iʼm~~.ʼʼ

She came again, harder than before, a scream tearing from her throat as her pussy spasmed around him, trying to drag him under with her. ʼʼAHHHHHH!ʼʼ

Archer buried his face in her neck, teeth grazing the mark heʼd left earlier, and followed her over the edge. He came with a guttural groan, pulsing deep, filling her a second time while she shook apart beneath him. When the storm finally passed, he didnʼt pull out. He collapsed half on top of her, still inside, their hearts hammering together.

Tiamatʼs fingers threaded gently through his sweat-damp hair, tugging until he looked at her. ʼʼMine,ʼʼ she whispered again, softer this time.

Archer pressed a slow, lingering kiss to her lips. ʼʼAnd Iʼm yours,ʼʼ he answered. ”Every fucking inch. Forever.ʼʼ

No sooner had the words left his lips than Maeveʼs panicked voice erupted in his mind. He bolted upright, heart pounding. ʼʼTia, the others are in danger. I have to go, now.ʼʼ

When the Dragon Goddess heard this, her violet eyes narrowed before she opened a portal and replied. ʼʼGo, Iʼll be here when you get back. I can stay for a while.ʼʼ

While Archer was occupied with Tiamat, Ella, Maeve, Talila, and Brooke worked to restore order on Pluoria. Their efforts came to an abrupt halt when a figure materialized from thin air in a ripple of violet light. Brooke launched herself forward, fist already cocked. The stranger shifted sideways, letting the punch whistle past, then flicked two fingers against her sternum.

A concussive pulse erupted, hurling the older woman through the air like a discarded rag doll. Everyone was shocked, but Maeve clicked her fingers, summoning the only person who can help them. Seconds later, Talila moved forward, shifting into her Dragon form alongside Ell, and the two women began trying to attack.

Thatʼs when Maeve realized who it was; her grey eyes widened in shock. ʼʼA Dark God!ʼʼ

Just then, a violet explosion erupted as a blur surged toward the stranger, causing her to mutter with a big smile. ʼʼArcher!ʼʼ

Archer moved so fast he landed a dozen punches against the enemy deity, who was baffled by the sudden attack, but he didnʼt give up as his claw tore through the Dark Godʼs skin, sending blood flying everywhere. Maeveʼs heart hammered against her ribs as she stared, frozen, at the whirlwind of violence unfolding in front of her.

Her husband was a storm of violet light, his body little more than a streak as he hammered blow after blow into the Dark God. Each punch landed with a sound like cracking thunder, each claw slash carving deep furrows that wept blood. The enemy staggered, arms raised in desperate guard, clearly stunned that anything mortal could move this fast, hit this hard.

But then the air changed. The Dark God stopped retreating as a red glow emanated from its body. A low, amused chuckle rolled out of the figure, the kind of sound that made the ground tremble and the sky feel suddenly too low. The violet ripples that had announced their arrival thickened into a cloak of living shadow that wrapped around its body like hungry serpents.

ʼʼEnough games,ʼʼ the enemy said, voice layered, as though a dozen throats spoke at once.

The being lifted one hand, almost lazily. Archer blurred in again, claws extended for a killing strike, but the shadows snapped outward. One caught him around the wrist, another around the ankle, a third looping his throat. They yanked him out of his charge and slammed him into the cracked stone of Pluoriaʼs plaza hard enough to spiderweb the ground beneath.

Maeve flinched at the impact. Dust plumed upward. For a heartbeat, everything was still. Then Archer rose, slowly. Violet aura flared brighter around him, dragon wings of pure energy unfurling from his back. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but he was grinning, feral and wild.

ʼʼGood,ʼʼ he growled. ʼʼI was starting to think youʼd bore me.ʼʼ

The Dark God tilted their head, featureless face somehow conveying cold amusement. Black ichor sealed the wounds Archer had torn moments ago, knitting flesh with threads of void. The pressure in the air doubled, tripled, until Maeveʼs knees buckled and she had to brace herself against a half-collapsed wall just to stay upright.

Tendrils of darkness erupted from the ground in a perfect circle around the deity, each one tipped with a bladed edge that sang as it cut the air. More shadows poured from their sleeves, forming a dozen clawed arms that flexed and readied. Archer cracked his neck, rolled his shoulders, and stepped forward.

Maeve couldnʼt breathe. Sheʼd seen Archer fight primordials, dragons, and armies. Sheʼd seen him bleed and laugh through it all. But this felt different. The Dark Godʼs power wasnʼt just vast; it was wrong, a hole in reality that pulled at the edges of her soul. And yet her lover walked straight into it, fists clenched, eyes blazing violet fire.

The shadows lunged, but Archer met them head-on. The plaza exploded into a maelstrom of black and violet light, the shockwaves alone hurling Maeve back. She hit the ground hard, ears ringing, yet she forced her eyes open, forced herself to watch. Because whatever happened next, she needed to see it.

She needed to see if even Archer could stand against a god who had finally decided to be serious.

Archer was having fun with the Dark God, but it suddenly got even stronger, forcing him back thanks to the aura coming off the enemy. He readied himself even if the injuries werenʼt healing until Tiamat suddenly appeared, a wicked smile crossing her face as she grabbed the enemy by the face.

ʼʼYou ruined my time with the man Iʼve craved for many years,ʼʼ she growled.

Without hesitation, the Dragon Goddess crushed the Dark Godʼs skull, spraying blood and fragments across the battlefield. He stood frozen in shock, then relief washed over him. The fight was finally over, and he was grateful, as his enemy had already inflicted severe damage on his battered body.

Once the foe was gone, he dropped to one knee as Maeve, Talila, and Brooke rushed toward him. A surge of mana flowed into his body, and his injuries began to heal, though far more slowly than usual. The three women stopped a few feet away, worried expressions plastered on their faces as Tiamat approached.

ʼʼWe need to get back to the Domain, handsome here needs to rest and recover,ʼʼ she revealed. ʼʼNow heʼs a fledgling God himself, he wonʼt die from such effects.ʼʼ

The womenʼs jaws dropped as Talila muttered. ʼʼHow is that possible? The boy I met in the forest all those years ago became a God?ʼʼ

ʼʼIt comes with becoming the White Dragon,ʼʼ Tiamat explained. ʼʼThanks to you girls and his own determination, he was able to grow strong and when the Dark Gods got involved, it just boosted him to new heights.ʼʼ

Archer chuckled and stood up, waving his hand, opening a portal to the Domain. ʼʼCome on ladies, letʼs rest before getting back to running the empire.ʼʼ

Following that, he stepped into the treehouse and smiled when feeling the warm air brush up against his skin. Brooke and Maeve stepped in next, prompting him to question. ʼʼHowʼs things on Pluoria? I was told you was bringing order to that place?ʼʼ

ʼʼWe were and have done so mostly,ʼʼ the orange-haired beauty replied, looking exhausted. ʼʼMost of the continent has fallen under our control apart from a few regions that Elara, Demetra and Nefertiti are bringing back into the fold.ʼʼ

When Archer heard this he sighed before opening a portal outside the Venomwing colony and ordered the creatures to clear out the rebel soldiers. Once that was done, he slumped into a nearby chair as Talila and Maeve joined him. The silver-haired elf looked into his eyes with a big smile.

ʼʼThanks for coming to help us, husband,ʼʼ she said, beaming at not being hurt by the Dark God.

ʼʼThatʼs why I gave you each the chance to summon me if something happened,ʼʼ he replied, closing his eyes as the wounds finally healed, allowing him to feel better.

ʼʼLucky that,ʼʼ Meave joined in. ʼʼOtherwise we would have been in trouble if you didnʼt show up.ʼʼ
