A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1660: Do You Want Company?

(Ayrenn)

Ayrenn was sitting on her private balcony as the ship passed by northern Draconia, which was covered in a thick layer of snow. The mountains looked beautiful as they were surrounded by a thick layer of mist, which looked like it came straight from a horror book she was reading.

The ship carved through the icy waters off northern Draconia, where snow-draped mountains rose through thick veils of mist, their haunting allure mirroring the gothic horror novel propped open in her lap. A golden goblet of High Elf Ale rested in her hand, its golden glow catching the sunlight as she sipped.

Her violet eyes drifted between the pages and the ethereal landscape, the storyʼs dark mysteries blending with the enigmatic beauty of the frozen peaks. She couldnʼt help but love her new home and preferred living her then trapped in a Nightshade palace. The platinum blonde Elf continued reading as she became tipsy.

As she rose from her seat to go get some rest, suddenly someone appeared, flashing a charming smile that sent the High Elfʼs heart racing as she spoke. ʼʼHello, Arch. Itʼs good you came to see me, I missed you.ʼʼ

Ayrennʼs face lit up at his words, a radiant smile spreading as she stepped forward and enveloped her lover in a tight embrace. Nestling her head in the crook of his neck, she felt the warmth of his presence against the chilly backdrop of northern Draconiaʼs mist-shrouded peaks.

His hands playfully found her ass and gave a cheeky squeeze, sending a shiver of delight racing through her. She looked up before pressing her lips against his in a passionate kiss as Archer instantly returned it with one of his own. They continued like this for a while until she felt him lift her.

ʼʼWhat are you doing, handsome?ʼʼ she asked, violet eyes sparkling.

ʼʼPampring my High Elf beauty,ʼʼ Archer replied, charming her completely.

Ayrennʼs lips curled into a mischievous smile as she melted deeper into her loverʼs embrace, the heat of their kiss heightening against the crisp air of northern Draconia. Her breath hitched as she reached lower, finding the impressive bulge of his cock, its size sending a thrill of excitement pulsing through her.

Archerʼs eyes darkened with hunger, a low growl escaping his throat as he tightened his grip, lifting her closer still. ʼʼYouʼre playing a dangerous game, my love,ʼʼ he murmured, voice thick with want, his lips brushing her ear.

Her violet eyes gleamed with playful defiance, her fingers teasingly lingering as she pressed herself against him, the forgotten goblet of High Elf Ale and her horror novel left behind on the balcony table. The snowy peaks of Draconia loomed in the distance, their eerie beauty fading against the raw, electric heat building between them.

Archerʼs violet eyes locked onto hers, brimming with hunger, and they stumbled backward, a tangle of limbs and desire, until the bed caught their fall. The duo collapsed onto the plush covers, a breathless laugh escaping Ayrenn as his weight pressed on top of her, warm and solid.

Ayrennʼs hands roamed eagerly, sliding beneath his shirt to trace the muscles of his back, while his fingers danced across her skin, then began tugging at her dress. Each touch sparked electricity, making her breath catch and her body arch toward him. ʼʼArcher,ʼʼ she murmured, voice thick with need, pulling him closer.

Moments later, her lips found his in a kiss that burned hot. His hands were everywhere until her dress lay crumpled on the floor, his shirt following. Skin met skin, and she gasped at the heat of him, her fingers threading through his hair as he kissed a trail down her neck, each press of his lips igniting her further.

The world beyond faded as they moved together, touches growing urgent, desperate. When he entered her, it was a tide breaking, slow at first, then overwhelming, each thrust drawing a moan from her lips. Her legs wrapped around him, pulling him deeper, nails digging into his shoulders as pleasure surged through her.

His name was a chant, a plea, as they lost themselves in the rhythm of their bodies, the bed creaking beneath them. The intensity built, a storm leaving her trembling, violet eyes locked on his as they chased that exquisite edge together, making love with a passion that drowned out everything else

When their passion finally subsided, Ayrenn collapsed in a blissful, pleasure-soaked haze, her body trembling with aftershocks. She felt his arms wrap around her waist, pulling her close, their sweat-slicked skin pressed together as they sank into the soft bedding. A gentle spell wove around them, making sure they had hours together.

Exhaustion claimed them, and they drifted into sleep as the weather got worse, lashing the world with a rainstorm.

(Teuila, Maeve, and Nyx)

Teuila was standing on a silent beach that bordered a forest that took up most of the space on the island. She was scouting for fresh water to restock the ships. She made her way toward the treeline and stepped inside, only to feel a chill run across her skin. Moments later, Nyxʼs voice echoed in her mind.

ʼTeu! Iʼm nearby, do you want company?!ʼ she cheerfully asked.

ʼYes, please,ʼ she responded, ʼThis place is creepy.ʼ

A roar reverberated across the island she was exploring, moments before Nyx descended beside her in humanoid form with a crash. She had bright white hair and mismatched eyes that shone. ʼʼAnd here I am!ʼʼ she exclaimed.

The duo giggled and continued looking for water. After hours of walking, the Dragoness stopped as she sniffed the air, her tail going stiff as she warned. ʼʼWeʼre being surrounded, Teu. Humans, but somethingʼs off with them.ʼʼ

Teuilaʼs grip tightened on the hilt of her sword as she drew it, the blade gleaming under the dappled sunlight filtering through the dense jungle canopy. With a single thought, she channeled her Deep Sea Magic, the air around her shimmering with the faint glow of energy, ready to unleash its power.

A rustle in the undergrowth snapped her senses to high alert, and from the foliage burst a pale-skinned humanoid with sharp, pointed ears and nails elongated into wicked, claw-like daggers. Its eyes glinted with hunger as it lunged, swiping viciously at her midsection. Teuila reacted with lightning reflexes, parrying the attack.

Seizing the moment, she summoned a surge of her magic, conjuring a radiant, water-wrought bullet that glowed with the ferocity of the deep ocean. Seconds later, she launched the projectile, striking the creature squarely in the skull, felling it instantly as its lifeless form crumpled to the jungle floor.

As the first humanoid fell, its body sinking into the mud, a chorus of guttural snarls erupted from the surrounding jungle. Teuilaʼs heart pounded. She glanced at Nyx just as everything exploded into chaos as a swarm of pale-skinned humanoids burst forth, their ears twitching and claw-like nails slashing through the air.

Nyx surged forward, claws a blur. She tore through the creatures, each swipe of her massive talons ripping through flesh and bone. The humanoidsʼ shrieks filled the air, their bodies piling up in a grim scene as she carved a path of carnage through their ranks, her draconic fury an unstoppable force.

Teuila, undaunted by the onslaught, danced through the fray. Her sword sang as it sliced through the air, meeting the charging humanoids with devastating strikes. She parried a claw aimed at her throat, countering with a slash that severed the creatureʼs arm, then spun to drive her blade through anotherʼs chest.

Her magic pulsed, increasing her strikes with bursts of energy that sent them staggering. One humanoid lunged from the side, but Teuila spun, her blade flashing as it cleaved through its neck, dropping it instantly. Together, the duo was a whirlwind of death. The Dragoness ripped through the humanoids like a hot knife through butter.

While the blue-haired beautyʼs swordplay was something else, like it came straight out of an action movie, cutting down those who tried to flee. The jungle floor grew slick with the creaturesʼ blood, their numbers dwindling under the teamwork of the two women. As the last humanoid fell, its body torn apart by claws and blade.

Once the battle was over, Teuila let out a sigh of relief as she smelt something in the distance, prompting her to lead Nyx toward a massive lake that went deep. Her big blue eyes shone; she looked at the Dragoness. ʼʼWe have enough water for the fleet, and it wonʼt run out thanks to being connected to the underground rivers.ʼʼ

ʼʼUnderground rivers?ʼʼ her friend questioned.

Teuila nodded. ʼʼYes, there are many that run under Thyrlos and pop up on random islands,ʼʼ she explained.

Following that, the two women secured the island as the Legionnaires and Marines arrived, prepared to transport the vital resources essential for continuing the expedition under the scorching sun but soon thunder boomed overhead as the wind picked up, prompting Nyx to commented. ʼʼLooks like Long Winter is coming south.ʼʼ
