A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1439 1439: Missed You Two As Well

Archer glanced at the crowd of human witnesses standing in stunned silence, their eyes wide with disbelief and fear. Whispers rippled through the group, their gazes shifting from awe to dread as they regarded him.

ʼʼThe news people are going to love this,ʼʼ he muttered, glancing at the nearby camera that was recording the scene. ʼʼIf they continue

Dismissing the gazes of the onlookers, Archer strode forward with unwavering resolve, crossing the threshold where the heavy metal door once stood. At the entrance, Ari took her position, her imposing presence a silent warning to the crowd.

Her sharp eyes scanned the group, ensuring no one dared to flee or slip away, her stance radiating authority that quelled any thoughts of escape. As he ventured deeper into the chamber, his footsteps echoed against the cold stone floor.

Archer came to a halt, his breath catching as the flickering torchlight revealed an astonishing sight. In front of him loomed towering stacks of gold bars, their polished surfaces gleaming like captured sunlight.

When he saw the scene, it caused him to think in amazement. ʼSo much wealth. This will help Draconia continue with the war for years to come.ʼ

The piles stretched toward the vaulted ceiling, an almost surreal monument to unimaginable wealth. Each bar was meticulously arranged, the sheer volume of the treasure casting a golden glow that bathed the room in a warm, otherworldly radiance.

Archer assessed the scene, aware that such a hoard was likely guarded by more than just a door, and that its secrets were now his to uncover. ʼʼItʼs all mine,ʼʼ he muttered with greed-filled eyes.

He quickly sucked it all into the Item Box leaving the place empty. Once that was done, he turned back to Ari and the group, who were staring at the scene with wide eyes, causing him to laugh.

ʼʼThere are several more places across the country that I can rob if they try to do anything to my women on here,ʼʼ he revealed to the Elemental.

Ari nodded with an amused expression. ʼʼGood idea, no nation can run itself if all its gold coins were taken,ʼʼ she answered, smiling.

Just then, he turned to the group of shaking humans and spoke in a stern tone. ʼʼWhen the government turns up here, I want you to tell them that Elizabeth Wintersʼ lover said if they mess with my women, I will destroy one of your states, turning it into a land of death and ash.ʼʼ

When they heard this, their faces paled just as Elaraʼs voice echoed in his mind. ʼHusband! The Alliance are attacking, a huge army is at our doorstep.ʼ

Without waiting, he turned to Ari with a serious expression. ʼʼCan you go aid Lara? The enemies are attacking the Eastern Wall.ʼʼ

She met his gaze with a subtle nod, her expression one of understanding. Drawing upon his mana, she shimmered briefly, her form dissolving into a cascade of ethereal sparks that faded into the air.

ʼʼNow itʼs time to get back to the others before checking on Darla,ʼʼ he muttered.

With her departure, the place went still. He wasted no time and teleported back to Rosemary Beach. He reappeared in the cozy, warmly lit living room of Micha and Elizabethʼs home, the suddenness of his arrival startling the two women.

Elizabeth let out a sharp gasp, her hand flying to her chest, while Micha flinched, nearly spilling the tea she was holding. Their wide-eyed surprise quickly softened as recognition set in, though their hearts still raced from the unexpected intrusion.

Before Archer could speak, the atmosphere shifted as Cece and Sasha, the lively twins, spotted him from across the room. Their faces lit up with unrestrained joy, their eyes sparkling as they let out delighted squeals.

In a blur of motion, they launched themselves at him, their laughter filling the air. Cece wrapped her arms around his shoulders, while Sasha clung to his side, both showering him with affectionate cuddles and playful kisses.

Archerʼs demeanor cracked, a rare, genuine smile tugging at his lips as he returned their embrace, the warmth of their affection grounding him amidst the chaos of his recent exploits.

Micha and Elizabeth shared a knowing look, their earlier startled expressions melting into warm amusement as they watched the scene. The room buzzed with the excitement of the twins, their laughter and chatter filling the space like a lively melody.

The ex-president shook her head with a fond smile, while Micha set her cup down, her eyes softening as she observed the heartwarming reunion. Cece was shimmering with unbridled joy, her face radiant with a beaming smile.

ʼʼItʼs so good to see you, babe!ʼʼ she exclaimed, her voice brimming with affection and excitement.

Her short brown hair bounced as she tilted her head up to meet his gaze, her enthusiasm practically sparkling in the air. ʼʼWeʼve missed you so much, Sasha and I were just talking about you yesterday!ʼʼ

Sasha nodded vigorously, her big brown eyes gleaming as she chimed in. ʼʼYeah, itʼs been way too quiet without you around!ʼʼ

Her arms were still wrapped around Archer, and she gave him an extra squeeze, her playful energy matching her sisters perfectly. Their warmth enveloped him, their genuine affection a stark contrast to the cold outside.

His usually guarded expression softened further, a rare flicker of contentment crossing his features as he absorbed the twinʼs adoration. He placed a hand on each of their heads, ruffling their hair gently, which elicited giggles from both.

ʼʼMissed you two as well,ʼʼ he said, his voice low but sincere.

The living room, with its cozy furnishings and the faint aroma of Michaʼs tea, felt like a sanctuary, a fleeting moment of peace amidst the storm of his life. He noticed the two older women were now fully relaxed, settled into their seats.

Moments later, the soft creak of the front door drew everyoneʼs attention. Isabella stepped into the house, her presence commanding the space with an effortless grace. Her brow was furrowed in momentary confusion, as if she hadnʼt expected the lively gathering.

But the instant her eyes locked onto Archer, a radiant smile bloomed across her face, transforming her expression into one of pure delight. The others watched, amused, as Isabellaʼs knowing gaze sparkled with mischief and affection.

Without a word, she closed the distance and enveloped Archer in a tight, warm cuddle, her arms pulling him close with a playful strength. In a bold, teasing move, she guided his head into her alluring cleavage, her laughter soft but vibrant as she held him there.

ʼʼItʼs good to see you, Arch,ʼʼ she murmured. ʼʼItʼs been way too long since you came back to us.ʼʼ

Archer, momentarily caught off guard by her affection, let out a muffled chuckle against her, the sound laced with genuine amusement. He gently extricated himself, though his hands lingered lightly on her waist as he met her gaze.

Her eyes, bright with warmth and a hint of teasing challenge, held his for a moment, and he couldnʼt help but return her smile. ʼʼGood to see you too, Bella,ʼʼ he replied softly. ʼʼIʼll make up for the time away, I promise.ʼʼ

The room erupted in light laughter, Cece and Sasha giggling at Isabellaʼs bold display while Micha and Elizabeth exchanged another amused glance, clearly accustomed to her spirited antics.

Just then, Ari reappeared with a concerned look. ʼʼHusband, dragons are attacking and the wall is being bathed in fire! You need to come and butcher those vile creatures.ʼʼ

When Archer heard this, he turned toward the group. ʼʼIʼll be back once things calm down.ʼʼ

As the women heard this, they nodded in agreement as each one knew he was a ruler in another world. Following that, Archer vanished from the warm, laughter-filled living room, teleporting to the battlefield where Elara commanded the Dragonfire Company.

The air was thick with the scent of smoke and the deafening roars of battle as he appeared amidst the chaos. Elara stood resolute, her voice cutting through the chaos as she barked orders to the Dragonfire Company.

ʼʼKeep firing! Donʼt let them breach the line!ʼʼ she commanded, her fiery red hair whipping in the wind as she directed the barrage. ʼʼWe need to hold out before the emperor returns!ʼʼ

The companyʼs weapons unleashed a relentless storm of blazing projectiles, illuminating the darkening sky with streaks of molten light. Archer wasted no time. With a powerful leap, he launched himself into the air, his body shimmering as he shed his human form.

His limbs elongated, scales of gleaming white erupted across his skin, and his frame expanded with breathtaking speed. In an instant, he dominated the battlefield, his massive wings casting a shadow over the eastern wall.

The sheer majesty of his transformation sent a ripple of awe and fear through both allies and enemies, the ground trembling. His piercing violet eyes locked onto the enemy dragons attempting to flee the onslaught.

With a thunderous roar that shook the heavens, Archer surged forward, his immense form a blur of power. He tore through the sky, claws raking through scales and wings as he struck down the fleeing dragons.
