A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1417 1417: Youʼre Naughty And I Love It

Archer started casting Mana Blasts into the deadly-looking cannons lining the walls before descending toward the fortification and landing. Moments later, he opened a portal and summoned the Dark Termites.

He watched as the colony stirred, millions of soldiers were ready to join him. ʼThese things will help clear out the High Elves.ʼ

The giant insects rushed out and pounced on any nearby soldiers, tearing them apart using their sharp mandibles. While this happened, he jumped toward the entrance of the building that was shut tight.

Without waiting, he stood in front of a thick wooden door, causing him to smile as he summoned a Chull Guardian and commanded. ʼʼBreak it down and kill anyone inside. You may have the bodies when youʼre finished.ʼʼ

Archer watched as the lobster-like monster slammed into the door, denting it with a resounding boom. The damage repaired itself, bewildering both him and the creature. Undeterred, he pointed to the wall beside the door, signaling a new target.

ʼʼTarget that,ʼʼ he ordered.

The Chull spun and smashed through the wall, breaching it as Dark Termites flooded in like a relentless tide. Archer let out a dark chuckle, watching the High Elvesʼ panic as they were mercilessly slaughtered.

Archer couldnʼt help but laugh when he saw this, he stepped through the shattered wall into the chaos. Just then, one of the creatures told him a Nightshade Army was heading straight for the prison, causing him to shrug.

ʼʼIt doesnʼt matter, Iʼll slaughter them using my monsters when they arrive,ʼʼ he declared.

Following that, Archer started walking through the dark corridors as people begged him to free them, but he ignored their pleas as he was there for one person, and by the time he stopped, he sensed a powerful mana barrier.

This put a smile on his face. ʼʼLooks like you were semi-prepared for me,ʼʼ he mumbled.

Moments later, he transformed into a translucent version of himself, thanks to being the White Dragon, which helped him pass through. Once he did that, the guards on the other side tried to attack.

A spear lunged toward him, but the metal bent on his scales, shocking the High Elf. Archer chuckled at the manʼs expression before grabbing him by the throat and snapping his neck as he threw the body at the other soldiers.

Following that, a fresh wave of enemies surged forward, only to fall beneath his claws as they drew near. By the time he reached the solitary door, his claws were covered in blood. His eyes sharpened, sensing a familiar mana signature coming from the other side.

ʼʼWhatʼs that?ʼʼ he muttered to himself.

He tore through it only to see someone lying under a sheet, and a pair of violet eyes peeked out. ʼʼAyrenn? Is that you?ʼʼ he called out.

ʼʼItʼs good to see you well, Archer,ʼʼ she muttered tiredly.

Archer darted forward, gently lifting the frail woman into a princess carry while weaving a healing spell around her. Her emaciated frame and pallid complexion betrayed the toll of long captivity.

Yet, even in her weakened state, her beauty was undeniable. Without hesitation, he tilted his head, pressing her lips to his neck. ʼʼBite me, Ayrenn,ʼʼ he urged. ʼʼTake my mana to heal yourself.ʼʼ

The High Elf beauty giggled as she replied. ʼʼMoving quick, arenʼt you handsome?ʼʼ

Moments later, the woman bit into him and his mana poured into her body, repairing everything and returning her to normal. Once Ayrenn was done, she stepped back, grinning. ʼʼThank you for that, handsome. Iʼm glad Tiamat didnʼt lie.ʼʼ

ʼʼTia warned you Iʼd show up, didnʼt she?ʼʼ he said, smiling. ʼʼAlways timing things perfectly. But enough talk, ready to get out of here?ʼʼ

Ayrenn met his gaze and nodded weakly. With a flick of his wrist, Archer summoned a Gate back to the Domain. He stepped through, and they materialized in the familiar warmth of the living room.

ʼʼYou can rest here while I continue causing trouble on Verdantia,ʼʼ he revealed, chuckling. ʼʼIʼm currently a slave in the Novgorod Palace.ʼʼ

When she heard this, a soft giggle escaped her lips as she spoke. ʼʼYouʼre a true chaos gremlin, arenʼt you? Tiamat showed me some of the things youʼve done, but becoming a slave as a powerful dragon?ʼʼ

Archer shrugged, laughing. ʼʼThe collar is useless against me as I deactivated it and claimed the empress, who is now my woman,ʼʼ he responded.

Ayrennʼs violet eyes sparkled with mischief as she let out a soft, playful giggle. ʼʼOh, youʼre positively wicked, and I adore it,ʼʼ she teased.

Suddenly, the beautiful woman wrapped her arms around him in a hug, her thin frame pressing against him. ʼʼThank you for saving me.ʼʼ

Caught off guard but warmed by her gratitude, Archer returned the embrace, his smile gentle. He pulled back slightly. ʼʼYou must be starving after all that,ʼʼ he said. ʼʼHow about I whip up something for you? Iʼm no stranger to the kitchen, my cookingʼs not half bad, if I do say so myself.ʼʼ

Ayrennʼs face lit up at the offer, her smile chasing away the shadows of her ordeal. The promise of a warm meal and his presence seemed to anchor her. He couldnʼt help but pull out a freshly cooked pizza that he had in his Item Box.

When the High Elf smelled the food, her mouth watered, and she looked at him, smiling. ʼʼWhat is this stuff? Iʼve never seen anything like this?ʼʼ

ʼʼPizza and itʼs a food from my old world,ʼʼ he revealed while cutting it into slices. ʼʼThe other girls like it.ʼʼ

Ayrenn nodded, grabbing a slice and taking a nibble, which made him laugh, but her eyes widened in shock. Moments later, she swallowed the first bite and spoke. ʼʼThis is delicious, Arch, did you cook it?ʼʼ

ʼʼOf course I did. Look over there, youʼll be able to see the ovens I used to cook them,ʼʼ he responded. ʼʼItʼs a new thing Iʼve taken up between the war and winter.ʼʼ

ʼʼHow is that going? Have they invaded your little island yet?ʼʼ she questioned.

He chuckled, shaking his head. ʼʼNo. The Alliance canʼt approach, or the Death Mist kills them; itʼs effective at isolating the homeland from the outside world. Then thereʼs Avidia, weʼve taken maybe twenty percent.ʼʼ

ʼʼYou invaded the southern continent?ʼʼ she mumbled, wide-eyed.

Archer grabbed a slice of pizza, the warm, cheesy aroma filling the air as he took a bite. He chewed thoughtfully before responding. ʼʼWeʼve made serious headway against the Fire Elves. But their empireʼs still largely intact. The desertʼs brutal terrain and the winter weather halted our advance, natureʼs a tougher foe than their armies.ʼʼ

He leaned back, wiping a bit of sauce from his chin, his eyes glinting. ʼʼStill, itʼs only a matter of time. Weʼre regrouping, rethinking our strategy to finish what we started.ʼʼ

Ayrenn listened intently, her gaze fixed on him as she nibbled on her slice, the firelight in the Domainʼs living room casting soft shadows across their faces. They ate in silence as the High Elfʼs ears twitched every time she took a bite of the food.

Ten minutes passed, and Anastasiaʼs voice sounded in his mind. ʼHandsome, the emperor just entered the palace and is angry.ʼ

When Archer heard that, he stood up smiling. ʼʼAyrenn, I have to go deal with the Novgorod Emperor. Iʼm tired of being a slave and now going to cause chaos across Verdantia,ʼʼ he revealed.

She let out a soft giggle as her tone turned curious. ʼʼWill you be coming back?ʼʼ

He gave a firm nod. ʼʼYes.ʼʼ

After that, he vanished, teleporting to the blonde empress. Archer materialized in her opulent bedroom, where she stood gazing out the window. The empress turned, her face etched with concern. ʼʼTheyʼll come for you, Arch. Your necromancer allies have stirred too much chaos.ʼʼ

Before he could respond, a stunning grey-haired woman materialized, her glowing red eyes fixed on him. His gaze instinctively traced her striking hourglass figure, but a chill ran through him as he sensed her power, greater than his own.

ʼʼAnastaisa, you must come to my mansion,ʼʼ the stranger declared in a thick Russian accent. ʼʼThe rebellion canʼt be discovered yet.ʼʼ

The blonde turned around to face the newcomer with a warm smile, replying. ʼʼCatherine, I was hoping youʼd turn up. Anatoly is going crazy and will finally make a move against me.ʼʼ

Catherine, the grey-haired woman, fixed her intense gaze on him. ʼʼWeʼll stage a fight. Iʼll unleash a powerful spell. As the explosion erupts, teleport to your realm. Leave the slave collar on the ground covered in your blood.ʼʼ

ʼʼOkay, can I come visit her when things calm down?ʼʼ he questioned.

The beautiful woman approached him as her eyes gleamed with excitement. ʼʼDoes that include me?ʼʼ

Archer couldnʼt help but shiver at her accent, he shook his head before replying. ʼʼYes, but I donʼt know you yet?ʼʼ

ʼʼAnd that will change, handsome,ʼʼ she purred. ʼʼNow prepare to fight, the Pseudo Gods are coming to secure you.ʼʼ

Following that, Catherine hit him with a punch that caught him off guard. He flew through the walls and crashed into a bed as an alarm blared out.
