A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1276: That Feels So Good, Master

Archer was gazing down at Colestah before nodding with a charming smile. ’’We can see how things go, empress. I’m not rushing into anything. I am no longer a little shit like I was when younger,’’ he answered.

Nefertiti and Leira giggled when hearing this. Moments later, the cat woman teased. ’’Keep telling yourself that, handsome. Remember Aeris? She’s a rather happy wraith lately while spending time with the necromancer sisters.’’

He chuckled as he opened a portal back to the real world where he and the two water elves stepped through after saying their farewells to the others. Once back in the house he built, they walked outside.

When stepping into the morning sun, the Moonriver guards rushed over. ’’Empress! We thought you had been kidnapped when you suddenly vanished!’’ the commander exclaimed, his voice filled with relief.

’Why would they think that? And if that was the case, why didn’t I kill them?’ he pondered with a knowing smile.

This made Archer laugh after thinking, but Colestah shook her head with a giggle before answering in an amused voice. ’’No, I’m fine. We need to head back to the capital and wait for Draconia’s food shipment.’’

The older elf man’s eyes widened in shock. Despite his surprise, he quickly regained his composure and answered, ’’That’s good, empress. I’m sure the people will praise your efforts.’’

When Archer heard this, he quickly revealed the information she needed to hear. ’’The ships are headed to your capital city, Mishimaka. They should help your people for a while and don’t worry about those tunnels. I’ll destroy them once I finish some business.’’

After that, Colestah walked toward him with a thankful expression on her beautiful face and quickly hugged him while whispering. ’’Thank you for everything, Archer. The Alliance members have got it all wrong about you.’’

Once they were done with their goodbyes, she walked toward her carriage. Nayeli smiled before rushing behind the empress. Minutes later, they were traveling down the road that headed further west.

Thalion appeared from the Domain and saluted. ’’My king. The Chasm Spiders and Venomwings are attacking the other colonies,’’ the knight informed him. ’’Lady Vivienne is keeping the peace, but the other queens want to battle the wilder ones.’’

Archer sighed when hearing this. ’’Let’s deal with them before anything else, otherwise many will die. Teuila and Sera should be here in the next couple of days, as they’re taking the last fortress now with their legions.’’

Afterward, he waved his hand to open a portal to the Domain and stepped through. The four Oathkeepers followed without hesitation. In the blink of an eye, they emerged at the edge of the Chasm Spider colony.

’I remember this place, but it’s grown so wild since last visiting,’ he mused while glancing at the surrounding trees.

Moments later, a monstrous spider lunged from the nearby darkness, which caused him to raise its eyebrow as the creature’s fangs bared, aiming straight for his chest. Thalion’s eyes flared.

In a single motion, the knight’s blade arced through the air, a whisper of steel slicing through the beast. The creature split apart in a spray of blood and ichor covered the ground, its severed halves collapsing in a grotesque heap.

Silence followed before the horde stirred, awakened by the scent of death as they rushed toward him.

Archer’s eyes widened in shock at the audacity of these things that dared to ambush him while he was visiting their queen. He turned to the Oathkeepers, searching their faces for confirmation before locking eyes with Thalion.

His voice carried a mix of disbelief and curiosity as he asked, ’’Did that thing just try to attack me, Thal? Or was I seeing things?’’ Enjoy more content from .Côm

The commander nodded while answering in a stern voice. ’’Yes, my king.’’

’’Damn, this new queen should control her children better, or I’ll get rid of them as the Monster Army won’t feel their loss,’’ he growled, his voice laced with irritation.

Then, without warning, he took a deep breath before unleashing an earth-shaking roar that echoed through the Domain, making the very ground tremble. The air vibrated with its power, sending a ripple of fear through the lurking creatures in the shadows.

’’That should stop them from attacking,’’ he muttered with a knowing smile.

Following that, Archer started walking down the tunnel for a while until reaching the queen’s chamber just as an exotic voice reached his ears. ’’So you’re the master of this world? How can I get back to the real world?’’

He stopped walking before turning his gaze forward. A confident smile curved his lips as he spoke, his voice calm yet absolute. ’’You’re not going anywhere. The only reason you’ve grown this strong is because of my mana… and the world I allowed you to thrive in.’’

A sharp intake of breath came from the Chasm Spider Queen, emerging from the darkness. Archer’s eyes grew wide with disbelief, not expecting the scene he was seeing now, which was a surprise.

Before him stood a pale-skinned woman, her long purple hair neatly styled into a bun, and he was drawn to a pair of violet eyes that were shimmering with an eerie light that mirrored his own, and a pair of pointy ears just like his.

Archer’s eyes traveled down her curvy figure and enormous chest that reminded him of his older wives, prompting him to shake his head in disbelief. ’Is the mana shaping them into someone I find appealing?’ he mused, a knowing smile creeping across his face.

’’Don’t worry,’’ he said with a chuckle while approaching the stranger, who kept her eyes on him. ’’I know what’s happening here, and we needed to meet so you could understand your role in this place, an important one for the world.’’

Following that, the Chasm Spider Queen nodded before speaking in an exotic voice. ’’Yes, I’ve been fighting with the three monarchs, but their aura makes me feel weak, so we only fight back to defend ourselves.’’

’’I understand that and don’t blame anyone as the monsters grow stronger after constant fighting,’’ he replied and stopped just a few feet from the woman as he held out his hand. ’’Take it and you’ll become like the others. You can finally join them in strength.’’

When the queen heard this, her violet eyes grew wide with astonishment, yet she quickly gripped his hand as the mana surged into her. She gasped in shock, but quickly shut her eyes as the energy rushed around her.

’Looks like it’s already affecting her,’ he thought.

Moments later, Archer let go and watched the Chasm Spider stumble back and slumped onto a nearby chair as his mana was improving her body. While this happened, he stepped forward and spoke with a big smile. ’’Your name will be Gia. I’ll let you rest for now before visiting you in a week.’’

He turned around and started walking toward the exit, only to hear Gia’s voice. ’’Thank you, master. I’ll see you soon and thank you for the power. I promise to use it to help in any way I can.’’

After that, Archer and the Oathkeepers left the colony before teleporting to the Venomwing’s home, which was built into the side of a mountain with one big hole carved into the stone thanks to the monster’s mandibles.

When he saw this, it caused him to think with glowing eyes. ’These monsters are growing stronger by the day. If this continues, they could be Monarch-ranked creatures that will destroy the Swarm.’

’’Thalion, stay outside and guard the area,’’ he said while stretching his arms, causing his body to click. ’’Monsters are heading this way, looking to attack the Venomwings colony.’’

As Archer stepped inside, the four knights moved to block the entrance behind him as roars, chittering, and other noises echoed from the surrounding forest. He advanced into the dimly lit tunnel, his footsteps echoing against the cavernous walls.

The remains of fallen creatures covered the passage floor. Ten minutes later, he started hearing a faint buzzing noise as several Venomwings appeared from the darkness, but stopped when they realized it was him.

He looked at the monsters before speaking in a commanding tone. ’’Take me to your queen. I need to speak to her.’’

It agreed and guided him through the winding tunnels, passing chambers filled with food and countless eggs. His eyes widened at the sheer number—millions, waiting to hatch. But something felt off.

’I don’t think they’re getting enough mana,’ he mused. ’Let’s check it out and see if I can help them.’

A strange unease settled over him, pulling him toward the last row of eggs. Something was wrong. Placing a hand on them, Archer sensed only a faint trace of mana within. Frowning, he sent out a wave of his energy.

The moment he did, the Venomwings abruptly halted their work. Awareness spread through them as they sensed life stirring within the eggs. Without hesitation, they began rushing around in a frenzy, their movements frantic and purposeful.
