A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1192:  Only Getting Worse

Archer held Siaʼs thick waist as he cummed deep in her ass causing the older woman to let out a primal scream while gripping the bedsheets, ʼʼAhhhhhhh!ʼʼ @@@@

Seconds later, he pulled out as she collapsed on the bed while catching her breath. He continued making love to the beautiful dragonkin woman who trembled with delight, as the pleasure was too much.

ʼʼMmmghh~~ Ughhh~~,ʼʼ she let out a moan in his ear.

This made Archer shiver as the two started making love until Sia fell into a daze. He pulled out of her and cast Cleanse on them and the bed, causing pain to shoot through his body as he coughed up some blood.

Sia sprang up, concern in her eyes as she moved to help him. ʼʼIʼm sorry, handsome,” she whispered. ʼʼWe should have waited until you were better.ʼʼ

Archer laughed, but soon felt a sensation of dizziness, prompting the older woman to recline and draw him onto her bosom. He rested his head against her chest, which elicited a smile from her as she played with his hair.

ʼʼRest and wait for Brooke to return,ʼʼ she said in a sweet voice.

Following that, Archer nodded before closing his eyes as her touch relaxed him and he soon fell asleep. A few hours later, Natalia returned with a friendly smile, ʼʼLady Sia, do you want to stay and witness the treatment?ʼʼ

Sia nodded, carefully lifting the sleeping Archer and settling him onto the bed with gentle hands. As she stepped back, a grey-haired woman moved forward, her expression calm but serious.

ʼʼI need to use an ancient Volkovitch spell,ʼʼ she explained, her voice steady. ʼʼMy ancestor created it to burn away the lingering Anti-Mana poison in his body.ʼʼ

After speaking, she placed a hand on his chest while mumbling something. Thatʼs when Sia saw a white light radiate from his chest, causing Archer to groan in pain, which worried the dragonkin woman.

ʼʼItʼs hurting him?ʼʼ she questioned.

Natalia nodded, ʼʼYes, itʼs a painful procedure but the only way that will help heal him,ʼʼ she answered while steadying herself while using a lot of manas. Following that, Archer woke up and saw the beautiful mature woman growing tired, he placed his hand on her arm before sending his mana into her which brought a bright smile to her face as she spoke, ʼʼThank you for that, I used a lot of energy gathering up the ingredients for your pain relief.ʼʼ

Hearing this, he raised an eyebrow in curiosity, but before he could speak, she produced a small pill and gently slipped it into his mouth. ʼʼThis will numb the pain,ʼʼ she explained with a calm, reassuring tone, ʼʼthough it might make you feel funny for a while.ʼʼ

Archer chuckled as he swallowed the pill, only to feel a wave of dizziness moments later. The effects took hold swiftly, numbing the pain but leaving him with a dazed, almost euphoric sensation.

Natalia smiled softly at his reaction. Her green eyes gleamed as she cupped his cheek and began channeling her magic, burning away the lingering poison in his body. Sweat soon drenched Archerʼs skin as his body fought against the remnants of the toxin.

An hour passed, and his groans broke the tense silence, his teeth gritting as traces of the pain seeped through the numbing haze. Gradually, the agony began to fade, replaced by a heavy, exhausted relief.

This continued until Natalia grew exhausted and Sia walked her to the room, but before they stepped out she turned around and revealed, ʼʼI honestly canʼt see why my husband hates you, Arch. You seem like a lovely young man and a responsible ruler. Iʼve seen the way your people worship you.ʼʼ

Following that, the two women stepped out only for him to hear a scream of excitement, ʼʼNanna! What are you doing here?ʼʼ

Archer grew curious and hobbled toward the door only to see the burgundy-haired Sofia hugging a beaming Natalia who replied, ʼʼMy little flower, Iʼve been meaning to come see you but the empire has been keeping me busy.ʼʼ

ʼʼWhat are you doing here?ʼʼ Sofia asked with glowing green eyes full of curiosity.

Natalia turned to him with a smile, ʼʼCome to help the Draconian King out with his dilemma.ʼʼ

Following that, they soon left when they realized Sofia wanted to chat, causing the two older women to slink off like gossiping children. Archer watched them walk as Sia turned back and blew him a kiss.

This caused the burgundy-haired woman to giggle before she turned to him with sparkling eyes. ʼʼCan we talk? I have some ideas that will benefit the kingdom and its people.ʼʼ

When Archer heard this, he nodded and stepped back to let her in. ʼʼCome in, take a seat.ʼʼ

She walked into the room with a big smile. ʼʼThank you. Iʼve been helping Aisha and Fianna with the government. There is a room in the central building with all your ideas, which I find fascinating.ʼʼ

He waved his hand, and some tea appeared on the table just as the two sat down with a grunt, as the pain was still there. Archer took one of Nataliaʼs pain pills, which made him feel better before speaking, ʼʼWhatʼs your idea?ʼʼ

ʼʼTrading Platforms,ʼʼ she said in an excited voice. ʼʼWe donʼt want anyone stepping foot on Draconia. The world wants to destroy you and that wonʼt stop when we conquer the other continent, so I came up with this.ʼʼ

Sofia slid a blueprint over to him and it showed a massive floating platform like the ones the Wyldheart Company uses to mine the sea floor. Archer was impressed as the platform had warehouses where the merchants could pay to hold their goods.

Outsiders would have to dock after being cleared by the Homeguards. There were plans to expand the train tracks to reach the four sea walls so they could shuttle people and goods across the kingdom in no time.

Following that, Archer looked at the young woman before asking, ʼʼWhat if anyone wants to live here?ʼʼ

Sofia took out more paper while explaining, ʼʼThere are buildings on the platforms where government officials can stay and process people.ʼʼ

ʼWow, sheʼs helpful. Maybe she could run a department for new designs?ʼ he thought with a knowing smile.

Archer shook his head before asking, ʼʼWe will build them, but it will have to wait until the war is over. If you have any more designs, come see me and Iʼll make sure my guards know to let you through.ʼʼ

Sofia beamed when hearing this, causing her to pull out a stack of papers before moving to sit next to him. Archer chuckled at the young womanʼs excitement and started talking until late into the night.

By the time she stopped speaking, she had fallen asleep, causing him to smile. Archer gently picked her up and put her in his bed before walking over to a comfortable chair and sinking into it.

ʼHopefully, I heal soon, this pain is driving me mad,ʼ he thought while grimacing.

Archer soon fell asleep as the wind outside picked up and battered the palace, but thanks to its construction and shield, it was safe, like every settlement on Draconia. The people were grateful for not having to rebuild their homes when the Frostwinter storms hit.

The next morning, Archerʼs eyes fluttered open to the sound of a storm raging against the windows. The relentless howling of the wind and the rhythmic patter of rain created an uneasy backdrop to his waking thoughts.

He sighed, pulling the covers closer as the cold air seeped into the room, sending an involuntary shiver through his body. ʼʼDamn, the weatherʼs only getting worse,ʼʼ he muttered under his breath, his gaze shifting toward the window.

Instinctively, he tried to scan the island for any signs of danger, but a sharp pang of pain coursed through him, forcing him to stop with a frustrated groan. While doing that, a knock rang out just before the door opened.

Archer turned around only to see Edith and Meredith walking in. The two maidsʼ eyes widened when they saw Sofia in bed and him wrapped in covers on a big chair. ʼʼWhat are you doing, husband? You canʼt be sleeping on a chair in your condition.ʼʼ

ʼʼShe fell asleep, but if you want to take her back to her room, I wonʼt stop you,ʼʼ he replied with a tired smile. ʼʼI want to lie down as my body feels weak.ʼʼ

The white-haired woman turned to Meredith and spoke, ʼʼDo you mind taking her Mere? Come back here once youʼre done.ʼʼ

Archer watched the blonde nod before scooping up Sofia and leaving the room. Once she was gone, Edith turned to him with a warm smile, ʼʼCome on, get in bed handsome and Iʼll join you.ʼʼ

He complied with the older womanʼs instructions, nestling himself, as she had suggested. She smiled warmly and moved closer to join him. Gently, she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, guiding his head to rest against her chest.
