A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1187: Death Tyrants

Archer continued to watch as the Oathkeepers moved out while killing hundreds of soldiers, which made him happy. ”They are perfect! Wait until the Alliance meets them on the battlefield,ʼ he thought with excitement.

Shortly after that, the rebel commanders ordered them to retreat from the monsters, which made him laugh. When Archer saw this, he spoke to Commander Thalion, ”Chase them down and kill them. Iʼll summon some help.”

The Oathkeeper commander nodded, before turning to the closest knights near him and ordered, ”Varek, Alderic. You two stay with the lord while the rest of them kill the remaining rabble.”

Archer watched the two nod as the other eight surged forward like a tidal wave. He saw the rebels panic, but the knightʼs weapons destroyed them with little effort, which made him chuckle.

He turned to Varek, who held a sword and shield while scanning their surroundings. The Oath keeperʼs head snapped to the right before he moved in front of Archer just as a Gatling Cannon erupted from some bushes.

A relentless stream of mana blasts surged toward them, each one hitting with a devastating power. The blasts collided with his shield in a blinding cascade of light and sparks, but Varek stood unyielding, a living fortress protecting Archer from anything.

The Oathkeeper planted his feet with unshakable resolve, his imposing stance embodying unwavering defense. Archerʼs eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he watched, silently marveling, ʼThey truly are the perfect bodyguards.ʼ

”Crush them, Alderic!” Varek bellowed, his voice booming like a war drum, cutting through the chaos and igniting the battlefield with rallying energy.

Alderic needed no encouragement. Seconds later, Archer watched as the large man rushed forward, his massive Warhammer gripped tightly in his hands as he charged straight into the path of destruction.

The mana blasts that slipped past Varekʼs defense came close, but Alderic ducked and weaved with surprising agility for a man of his size, each step bringing him closer to his target.

ʼFucking hell! How did the girls make them so fast?ʼ Archer thought in surprise.

The rebel war machine loomed ahead, a towering monstrosity of steel and mana-fueled power. Sparks of energy crackled across its surface as its cannons charged for another volley.

Alderic bared his teeth in a feral grin and let out a guttural roar as he closed the gap. With a powerful swing, he brought his Warhammer down in a devastating arc. The weapon hummed with raw energy, and when it connected, the impact was like a thunderclap.

The war machine buckled under the force, its armored plating crumpling as a shockwave tore through its core. Gears and shards of steel erupted into the air as the machine collapsed in a fiery explosion.

Following that, Archer watched Alderic approach with the Warhammer on his soldier. He commented, ”Impressive. You both are doing well even if itʼs your first mission.”@@@@

Upon hearing this, the Oathkeepers saluted him in silent respect as the trio made their way toward the impending slaughter. Meanwhile, eight of his bodyguards were relentlessly overpowering the rebels, who charged forward in a desperate frenzy.

Soon enough, the commanders ordered them to form up for an all-out attack on the Oathkeepers who stood firm. Alderic and Varek rejoined the others while he watched from behind.

Archer smiled when he saw this before speaking to his bodyguards. ”This is your time to shine. Show me the power you hold. If Iʼm impressed, you ten will become part of the First Company of Oathkeepers.”

When Thalion heard this, they all saluted with a burning determination and undying loyalty in their gazes. Seconds later, the air crackled with tension as the ten Oathkeepers stood in an unyielding line, their armor gleaming under the blood-red sky.

Each warrior was a tower, their faces concealed behind helmets, their eyes cold and resolute. The ground trembled with the thunderous charge of the rebels, a rabid horde driven by desperation, their cries filling the air like an orchestra of madness.

Archerʼs gaze was unwavering, the faintest flicker of anticipation in his eyes. He had seen battles before, but this... this was something different. His breath steadied as the hundreds of thousands of rebels closed in, unaware of the storm they were about to unleash upon themselves.

With a sudden shout from Thalion, the Oathkeepers moved as one. Their weapons swept forward in a deadly blur, cutting through the first wave of rebels. The enemies screamed, their momentum faltering as they were cleaved in half or sent flying in violent arcs.

The Oathkeepers advanced step by step, a flawless formation of death. One by one, the rebels crashed against the ten knights, but each attempt was met with a bloodbath. A rebel tried to flank them, only to find a blade piercing his side.

Another swung a desperate axe, but it was batted aside as a sword was driven through his throat. No rebel could break their formation; no rebel could escape their wrath. While Thalion was fighting, he shouted, ”For our Lord! For the White Dragon! Kill the vile scum that

opposes him, Oathkeepers!”

Archerʼs eyes remained locked on the carnage, watching as his soldiers obliterated everything in their path. The rebels came in waves, but their numbers dwindled with every clash.

Each strike, each death, was delivered with skill, as if the Oathkeepers were not men, but instruments of retribution. Blood pooled around their feet, soaking the earth and transforming the ground into a brutal quagmire.

Before the rebels could fully surround them, Archer raised his hand and opened a portal to the Domain. He summoned ten Death Tyrants, monstrous beings Morena had forged from the

prisoners.

Towering at eight feet, the humanoid creatures resembled Blightborns, but their frames were bulkier and more imposing, their eyes glowing with an eerie, unnatural light. Archerʼs gaze flicked over them, noting the thick armor covering their vital areas, a crude protection.

Yet what truly captured his attention were their claws, massive, razor-sharp appendages that extended to the length of his arm. The Oathkeepers continued fighting as he spoke to the Death Tyrants. ”Cover my knights and make sure none of the rebels flank them. Capture as many as you can.”ʼ

The creepy creatures nodded before getting to work as they spread out while cutting the enemies in half with a quick swipe.

While the battle was underway, Teuila and Nala were watching the battle with wide eyes and slack jaws. The lioness shook her head before questioning her friend, ”Where the hell is he pulling all these things from? Hasnʼt he been hiding away in his bedroom with Mary?”

The blue-haired woman nodded while explaining. ”Yes, but heʼs had these plans in the making for a while now. The giant soldiers are new, though. Leira, Nefi, Mere, and Sofia have been working on it day and night since husband gave them the plans.”ʼ

”ʼSofia? The Popeʼs chatty granddaughter? Didnʼt we meet her when Archer took her on a tour of Draconia?” Nala asked with a curious expression.

Teulia didnʼt hurt but stared at the ongoing battle as the man she loved stood in the middle while ten giant knights moved forward and killed dozens of enemies that dropped to the

ground.

ʼWhat monsters has he unleashed?ʼ she thought as her blue eyes gleamed. ʼAt least heʼll be protected from now on.ʼ

Following that, the two women watched as the battle died down when the tall humanoids started capturing rebels like they were fish in a barrel. When Nala saw this, she started

giggling before speaking. ”Looks like handsome is going to do something with the

prisoners.”

Teuila nodded. ”Yes, I think heʼll send the women to the Battle Sisters and men to the necromancer sisters. Iʼve been in their hellhole of a prison, thereʼre millions of men in there,”

she revealed.

”I know, when I first saw them I felt bad, but Morena explained that they were criminals from Archerʼs old world,” the lioness answered. ”Those creepy sisters are evil. I saw them skinning a man while drinking tea like it was nothing.”ʼ

The blue-haired woman started giggling, ”Youʼre right, the two are unusual, but I have to give them the benefit of the doubt. They adore Archer to no end. Demacia simps over him, as

he would say.”

They stood silently, watching as the chaos of battle began to end. The rebels who remained alive were now surrounded, cowering in fear as the Death Tyrants circled them, their massive forms casting long shadows over the terrified prisoners.

The chilling sound of the loud cries of the rebels. Nala, her eyes glinting with amusement, broke the silence with a soft giggle. ”I almost feel sorry for them,” she mused, watching as the rebels trembled in fear. ”But they fucked up. They took advantage of the situation... and now theyʼre paying the price.”ʼ

”Yes they did,” Teuila replied. ”But at least itʼs over now and we can prepare for the upcoming war. We have to train our legions before invading Avidia.”
