Chapter 366 – 193: The Power of Master-Level Combat Skill (Two in One Mega Chapter)

However, Rein thought about it and decided to try forging first.

Because as he estimated, even if it was slightly off, it shouldn’t be too far off.

When Rein opened “Crawley’s Armor Casting Technique Volume II,” the design of the ice iron suit shone with a pale blue metallic luster and caught his eye.

Rein also began to carefully examine it, choosing the part of the ice iron suit to forge,

The ice iron suit, like the chromium iron suit, consisted of eight pieces.

After some thought, Rein chose the ice iron shoulders because the design showed that the shoulders, resembling two arched covers, could be cast in one go.

Unlike other suits’ shoulders, which had designs with multiple armor plates.

Soon, Rein began smelting the ice iron ingots. Due to the extremely high flame resistance of the ice iron, the smelting temperature was exceptionally high, fortunately, Rein had the witchcraft “Scorching Touch” to assist, or else the blacksmith furnace alone would hardly suffice!

Half an hour later, a system prompt appeared:

[You have conducted forging work on the ice iron suit shoulders, insight improved!]

[You have gained a new skill—Shoulder Forging]

[Your skill ’Shoulder Forging’ has improved, Experience +24]

[You focused on forging the ice iron suit shoulders, Armor Caster Professional Experience Points +138]

….

Wow!

Rein’s eyes brightened!

The Experience reward is so generous!

It seems that equipment crafted from rare ores is rated far higher by the system than those crafted from ordinary ores.

At this rate, I do stand a chance to advance to lv5 Armor Caster before I run out of ice iron ingots and ore.

Immediately, Rein got to work with full vigor.

However, after over an hour, Rein quickly encountered another problem.

That was, smelting ice iron required continuous assistance from witchcraft, and the spiritual power consumed during the process far exceeded that used in smelting regular iron ingots. More than an hour had nearly depleted Rein’s spiritual power.

After some thought, Rein decided to add a point to his Spirit Attribute.

This was because an increase in spiritual power would simultaneously increase the potency of his witchcraft, and adding points would restore him to his peak condition, meaning he could continue smelting at a faster pace.

Finally, Rein considered that he was only two Will runes short of fulfilling the requirement to visualize twenty-four Will runes at once, which would allow him to step up to the rank of third-level Wizard Apprentice.

As the remaining attribute points decreased from 6→5, his Spirit also increased from 25→26 points.

Instantly, Rein felt exceptionally clear-headed; the recent fatigue from depleting his spiritual power vanished immediately!

During the subsequent melting process, Rein found, as expected, that after adding the point, the power of the “Scorching Touch” witchcraft also slightly increased, making smelting the ice iron ingots even more efficient.

Two hours later, seeing that his Profession Level as an Armor Caster had passed two-thirds, but his spiritual power was nearly exhausted again, Rein did not hesitate much before adding another point to his Spirit.

As the remaining attribute points decreased from 5→4, his Spirit also increased from 26→27 points.

Restored to his peak condition, he continued to work up a sweat!

Half a day later, a system prompt sounded:

[Congratulations! Your Profession Level as an Armor Caster has increased!]

Rein’s Profession Level as an Armor Caster finally elevated to lv5, earning him additional rewards of one attribute point and one Skill Point.

Thus, the remaining attribute points in the system panel increased to 5, and the remaining Skill Points reached 6.

Rein looked at the 6 remaining Skill Points with a hint of excitement!

Finally, I’ve saved up 6 points!

Just by adding three points each to the Giant Bear Sword Technique and Tokkal Hammer Technique, I can instantly get two Extraordinary Combat Skills to level 10.

After a brief rest, Rein focused his attention on the Transcendent Knight panel, his large hands holding the icon with the hammer pattern—Tokkal Hammer Technique lv7 (2724/5000).

Ever since his Tokkal Hammer Technique reached the level 6 mark, the accompanying effects of Shock and Precision both advanced to level 2.

And this time, once his Tokkal Hammer Technique advanced to lv10, it would also unlock the next tier of effects:

“Note: To unlock Shock lv3 in Tokkal Hammer Technique, the following conditions are required: one, Tokkal Hammer Technique lv9 or above; two, Bear King Breathing Technique lv9 or above.”

“Note: To unlock Precision lv3 in Tokkal Hammer Technique, the following conditions are required: one, Tokkal Hammer Technique lv9 or above; two, Strength 22 points, Agility 18 points, Constitution 20 or above.”

The requirements for these effects at level 3, both only need the Hammer Technique to reach lv9.

Considering the level 2 effects last time, which allowed him to kill a beast comparable to a Great Knight, the power of level 3 effects need not be mentioned!

As Rein muttered to himself to add points!

The remaining Skill Points on the attribute panel shifted from 6→4, and the Tokkal Hammer Technique was instantaneously upgraded to level 9.

Instantly, a massive surge of memories about the practice of the Tokkal Hammer Technique flooded into Rein’s mind.

These scattered fragments of Hammer Technique memories almost formed a short film in Rein’s mind, which then rapidly integrated into the muscle memory of his entire body.

However, the content of this memory was indeed a bit overwhelming, and it took Rein a moment to open his eyes.

Just now, he seemed to have undergone several years of strenuous practice of the Tokkal Hammer Technique, and then, those years of Hammer Technique experiences were crammed into his brain in just a few seconds.

Rein glanced at the Hammer Technique and sure enough, both effects ’Shock’ and ’Precision’ had advanced to level 3.

Rein took a closer look, the new textual explanations for both effects were similar; the main change from level 2 was that ’minor degree’ had shifted to ’major degree’.
