Re:Zero: Wrath Route Yandere Emilia Watches the Projection

Natsuki Subaru stretched lazily, feeling refreshed, then got out of bed and stood up.

He turned his head to glance at Priscilla, who lay buried in the covers with only a pair of fair, delicate arms peeking out, still fast asleep, and a dazed expression crossed his face.

Was he really not dreaming?

He still remembered their first encounter at the alley entrance in the Royal Capital. Back then, he’d assumed she was some sheltered young lady from a noble family, cornered by thugs, and he had bravely rushed forward to help.

Only later did he realize that, given Priscilla’s strength, watching him back then was probably like watching a monkey hopping around in a frenzy.

But whenever he thought of the ”apple” that had bound the two of them together, Natsuki Subaru couldn’t help but want to laugh.

Who’d have thought there really was someone so pampered? She’d only ever seen peeled apples and didn’t even know that real apples were actually red — it was simply too funny.

But to be honest, although Priscilla was an arrogant and troublesome woman—

Her looks really and truly hit Natsuki Subaru’s aesthetic preferences perfectly.

Of course, her big chest was also a rather important factor in attracting him!

In those early days after they’d met, he often couldn’t resist sneaking glances out of the corner of his eye, then silently sighing in admiration at how... bountiful and generous she was.

Mm... since the way the two of them met was so dramatic and steeped in a sense of destiny—

A hero rescuing a damsel in an alley, followed by that wonderfully laughable misunderstanding triggered by a single apple.

So sometimes he really couldn’t help but wonder: if the first person he’d met upon coming to this world had been Priscilla, how would the story have unfolded then?

Uh, maybe he’d have been recruited into some comical position like ”Apple Manager” or something.

”Slap!”

Natsuki Subaru suddenly smacked his own cheeks, as if to stop himself from thinking any further.

No, no, how could he think like that?

What ”first person being Priscilla,” hey now — his heart had always belonged to Emilia-tan, mm!

Natsuki Subaru muttered to himself in a low voice, and then his expression turned resolute.

Alright, just keep it that way. Let’s head to the dining room and get breakfast ready!

Having made up his mind, Natsuki Subaru maintained his high-spirited posture and strode toward the dining room with steps that recognized no kin.

”Huh, there’s already someone in the dining room?”

Reaching the doorway, Natsuki Subaru poked his head in and peered inside with curiosity.

The moment he saw clearly what lay before him, his movements abruptly froze, and his breath felt as though it were seized by an invisible hand.

The morning sunlight streamed through the dining room’s floor-to-ceiling windows, draping gently over Crusch at the table like a thin veil of gauze.

Today she hadn’t tied her hair up in her usual crisp ponytail; instead, she let her emerald-green tresses cascade over her shoulders like a waterfall.

A few strands fell against the side of her fair neck, swaying ever so lightly with the motion of her drinking tea and the rhythm of her breathing.

That pure white nightgown bore no superfluous decoration, yet it traced the slender-yet-powerful line of her shoulders just right.

As the head of House Karsten and a knight herself, she clearly didn’t lack for training in everyday life — perhaps she even had six-pack abs hidden on her stomach.

Natsuki Subaru couldn’t help thinking this with a bit of mischievous fancy.

”Subaru-sama?”

Sensing the movement, Crusch turned her head, and upon seeing that the new arrival was Natsuki Subaru, a look of delighted surprise lit up her face.

Her amber eyes suddenly brightened, and the corners of her mouth couldn’t help but curve upward. From the look of it, if she’d had a tail, it would already be wagging furiously behind her.

”Yo, Crusch, good morning! How’d you sleep last night?”

Seeing that he’d already been noticed, Natsuki Subaru simply stepped out from behind the door and raised a hand to greet her cleanly and crisply.

”I slept soundly for the first time in ages. I owe it all to you, Subaru-sama.”

Crusch responded with proper decorum. Compared to how she’d been yesterday, she seemed somewhat reserved and demure at this moment.

”Oh, that’s right, Subaru-sama, come sit over here. Ana and Felt are making breakfast in the kitchen, so it’s just the two of us standing here.”

Looking at Natsuki Subaru standing in the doorway, Crusch seemed to suddenly think of something and pulled out the chair beside her, hurriedly beckoning him to sit down.

”Oh, okay... By the way, they can actually cook? That kind of makes me feel a little ashamed.”

Natsuki Subaru walked straight over and sat down beside Crusch, glanced toward the kitchen, and scratched his head sheepishly as he spoke.

At the same time, he felt a faint sense of bewilderment in his heart — why was Crusch behaving so meekly this morning?

It was as if the two of them were treating each other with the polite respect of new acquaintances.

Still, this put Natsuki Subaru somewhat at ease.

This wasn’t bad either. That scene last night, with all these beautiful girls coming up to kiss him one after another, had honestly been far too insane.

”It’s all right. You are the husband of us sisters, so this is a perfectly reasonable way to serve you—”

Crusch’s voice suddenly sounded right beside his ear.

All at once, Natsuki Subaru felt a figure clad in a white nightgown abruptly appear in his field of view as he looked toward the kitchen, straddling his lap out of nowhere.

”Mm... the moment I see you, my husband, I just can’t help getting excited. I’m truly sorry for suddenly doing this — my deepest apologies.”

”Mm, now that I’ve properly apologized, then next, just as I said before, I can no longer hold back...”

With her loose white nightgown half-undone, Crusch spoke bashfully, her face flushed red.

From Natsuki Subaru’s vantage point, he could see the plump rounded hemispheres, as well as the pupils in Crusch’s eyes that were practically melting into throbbing hearts.

A flicker of helplessness passed through Natsuki Subaru’s eyes. He was beginning to half-believe the fact that they all came from another world of possibilities.

Otherwise, how could Crusch have turned into someone so pent-up like this?

Just what had the other-world version of himself done? They were even married, yet he hadn’t properly satisfied her?

Ah, what a sin. Then let him be the one to atone for that transgression.

Natsuki Subaru sighed inwardly, the corners of his mouth lifting into an unstoppable curve.

”Mn!”

The very next second, the no-longer-restrained Crusch leaned in like a little beast, her hands fumbling clumsily at the clothing over Natsuki Subaru’s chest.

Meanwhile, not far away, in the direction of the kitchen, two petite girlish figures were busily preparing breakfast.

One could faintly glimpse the smiles at the corners of their mouths, as if they were delighted at the thought of soon watching their beloved eat the heartfelt breakfast they’d made with their own hands.

For a time, the kitchen and the dining room formed two distinctly separate domains.

In this moment, everyone was absorbed in their own task, and the atmosphere felt warm and harmonious.

After who knew how long, their lips finally parted.

Both Natsuki Subaru and Crusch broke apart with flushed faces, gasping for air in great heaving breaths.

The edges of Crusch’s ears were flooded with a broad blush, like a blooming flower, yet inwardly she was fretting in annoyance.

She’d just gotten too into it and lost control, not even leaving time to breathe, which had given them both an unpleasant experience.

Next time — next time she absolutely had to be careful, otherwise what would she do if Subaru-sama came to dislike her for this!

As for Natsuki Subaru, he lifted his head and looked at Crusch with a bewildered gaze.

He hadn’t expected that, although she acted so much like a lust-crazed woman, she was different from Priscilla — even more fond of kissing?

Good grief, was this also something the other-world version of himself had developed in her?

This Crusch, really now.

Addicted to kissing.
