The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1752: Chapter 1752: Face Slap, Caryn Zachmann Directly Mentions Nathalie

Caryn Zachmann, suppressing her humiliation, took the phone from his hand, then turned to her own phone’s contacts to find the series of numbers under the name Nathalie Quinlan. She entered them one by one into the borrowed phone, and then called using the security guard’s phone once more.

”Beep...”

Indeed, the call connected with the new phone.

Caryn exhaled a breath of turbid air; her eyes seemingly covered with a layer of frost as she coldly prepared to call Nathalie out for a face-to-face confrontation.

The security guard also stood not far from her, waiting for her to finish the call and return the phone.

Caryn prepared herself.

However.

The busy tone rang only once before the call was hung up.

”Sorry, the user you called is busy, please try again later.” Caryn heard the mechanical female voice in her ear, as if she had been slapped in the face.

Unwilling to accept this, she moved the phone away and dialed again.

This time was even quicker.

”Sorry, the user you called is busy, please try again...”

She didn’t wait for the mechanical female voice to finish.

Hung up again.

Called again.

This time, it didn’t ring even once, as the mechanical female voice directly told her: The user you called is busy!

Caryn felt a surge of anger rush to her head, her shoulders began to tremble with rage, she nearly threw the phone.

Nathalie Quinlan!

”What’s going on with you? Your relative’s not answering your call?” The security guard, who had been waiting for her to finish her call, watched Caryn dial seven or eight times until it seemed she had been blocked, and he no longer hid his doubt in his gaze: ”Is your relative really living here? Maybe you’ve got the wrong place.”

Caryn, silent and humiliated to the extreme, handed back the phone without a word, not even saying thank you, and walked away briskly.

...

Her car was parked nearby on the roadside.

Caryn’s pace quickened towards the car, and reaching it, she pulled open the car door, got in, and slammed the door shut.

With a loud ’bang’.

She pulled out her own phone from her bag, opened Twitter.

Since Nathalie’s statement, public opinion on Twitter had begun to turn against her.

After someone took a screenshot of the Pharmaceutical Association’s announcement on Instagram of her expulsion to Twitter, the comments under the Overseas Medical Association’s official statement were filled with doubts.

All of this was thanks to Nathalie Quinlan!

Caryn’s face was as cold as water at this moment, the frost in her eyes nearly piercing through.

With her anger boiling, and after being stopped at the entrance and unable to enter, losing face, she couldn’t hold it any longer. Caryn logged into her Twitter and edited a new tweet.

[Caryn Zachmann V: I know you’re not happy with my joining the Overseas Medical Association, but I think we should bring things to light, there’s no need for underhanded tactics behind people’s backs. @Lighten Chaser @Tsinghua University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department]

Caryn had some fame before and had participated in many interviews, variety shows as a Tsinghua University prodigy + Audrick Zachmann’s biological sister.

She had quite a few Twitter fans.

But later, she rarely touched Twitter, almost not updating it.

This time, because of joining the Overseas Medical Association, she was pushed into the spotlight, many of the melon-munching crowd closely watched her.

Just waiting for her to speak out.

But nobody expected Caryn to be so bold!

She didn’t leave any room for maneuver, directly pointing out Nathalie Quinlan and Mr. Avalon for stirring up public opinion and setting traps for her behind the scenes.

She even directly mentioned the two people involved.

And she mentioned Tsinghua University’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Department!
