Extraordinary in Reality Through Magic Games

244: Chapter 242 Big Baby, Disaster is ImminentDuring the process of the Fallen Spirit lifting the yacht and Leon from the sea surface, its movements were very gentle.

Seemingly to prove to Zhang Mu that it would not hurt its new friends, it didn’t even scratch the boat’s paint.

Seeing that it had a sense of propriety, Zhang Mu nodded with satisfaction and turned to head toward Ying Country.

Meanwhile, Toby, suspended in mid-air, could not understand why Misha would associate ”happiness” with the terrifying eyes before them.

In his view, if not for the fact that the Mountain Rock Giant’s large face lacked a mouth, the three of them would probably have been stuffed inside as snacks by now.

Compared to the bewildered and stunned Toby, Leon was currently the most distraught.

As the Mountain Rock Giant’s upper body, majestic as the Tower of Babylon, emerged from the sea, its raised hands were fully exposed under the moonlight.

Leon discovered with horror that the five-meter-diameter reef he was lying on was not a fingertip at all, but a protruding rock on the fingertip.

It was just like a bump on the tip of a finger caused by a mosquito bite.

He was now holding onto this bump to steady his body.

”Can you put me down? I’m scared...”

Looking at the oppressive, ghostly blue flames in the Mountain Rock Giant’s eye sockets, he ultimately dared not speak.

”Misha, if your judgment is correct and it is indeed very happy right now, what do you think is the reason?”

As the massive head that had been looming near the side of the boat to examine them moved away, Toby, feeling as if a heavy weight had been lifted from his body, lowered his voice to ask.

”Hmm...” The little girl kept a straight face for a moment, then said hesitantly, ”It’s very similar to how I feel when I get a new toy.”

”So, we are toys?”

”Possibly.”

He wanted to ask a couple more questions, but was interrupted by the Mountain Rock Giant as it began to move.

Leon was safely returned to the yacht.

Seemingly worried about him getting hurt, the Mountain Rock Giant kept its middle finger against the hull, patiently waiting for him to return to the deck and stand steady before withdrawing it.

Then, the big guy turned its head left and right for a moment, and after confirming the direction, its legs beneath the sea began to stride, quickly arriving at a stretch of sea far from the fishing boat’s route.

”What does it want to do? Play with us roughly until it loses interest and then squash us?” Leon grabbed Toby’s arm and asked with some panic.

”I don’t know...”

The Mountain Rock Giant placed the boat back on the sea surface. Toby stomped his feet to ensure the boat was stable, then continued his previous sentence: ”I don’t know.”

”It’s not looking this way, should we run?” Gazing at the back that resembled a mountain range, Leon was eager to make a move.

”Brother Leon.” Misha’s small face was full of helplessness. ”Please don’t do anything stupid; that would bring destruction upon us.”

Being reprimanded by his beloved little sister like this made him feel quite sad.

But before he could refute or defend himself, Toby’s follow-up strike arrived: ”If we make it back alive, next semester when you sign a contract with a magic pet, I hope you pick a smarter one.”

His cheeks flushed red, very dissatisfied with their belittling of him: ”I will prove, I definitely...”

”Boom—”

A low rumble rushed into their ears, and the calm sea surface rippled, causing the boat to sway and pitch.

The three of them grabbed onto the plastic chairs fixed to the deck and looked toward the massive back in front of them.

The Mountain Rock Giant seemed to be tinkering with something in front of it, but due to the angle, they couldn’t see the specifics.

But their confusion was soon resolved.

After about ten minutes, the big guy’s waist, which wasn’t submerged in the seawater, turned around.

During the moment it turned sideways, the three of them saw that the previously empty sea surface now had a vast rocky island that had appeared out of thin air.

All three were a bit bewildered, not understanding why the supposedly brutal ”calamity” would perform such a series of baffling actions.

While they were subconsciously pondering this, a large hand picked up the yacht and placed it onto the island.

To prevent it from tipping over, it even thoughtfully used two rocks to sandwich the hull from both sides.

Their brains were impacted by the sudden rapid elevation and descent, and their thinking was still dazed.

The Mountain Rock Giant was not in a hurry.

It stepped onto the island with both feet, crouched down, wrapped its arms around its thighs, and lowered its gaze to stare quietly at the three of them.

”This is more thrilling than a roller coaster.” Shaking his head and feeling a bit clearer, Toby complained while scanning left and right.

”It...” Leon’s stomach was churning. He swallowed back what he wanted to say and patted his chest desperately. After feeling a bit better, he said, ”It built an island in ten minutes?”

”Headmaster Grandpa can do it too.” The swaying of Misha’s body gradually decreased.

”I don’t think the Headmaster would be interested in building an island in an uninhabited sea area.”

Misha pursed her lips, walked to the bow of the boat, and looked up at the hollow eye sockets watching them, as if trying to discern the Mountain Rock Giant’s expression.

”If there were a merry-go-round and a seesaw, this would be an amusement park!” she suddenly said.

The stabilizing ghostly blue flames began to dance again, and an invisible wave of Mental Energy transmitted toward the distant kingdom—it wanted a merry-go-round and a seesaw.

Zhang Mu, who had just arrived at the palace gate: ”?”

”What do you want?”

”A merry-go-round and a seesaw.”

Zhang Mu took a deep breath. ”Where am I supposed to find a seesaw that you can use?”

”Want.”

The ”tone” was not only anxious but also carried a hint of grievance.

”What the hell...”

His eye twitched violently. He turned around and rushed at top speed to the workshop located at Jiu Jin Mountain, switching back to his factory owner persona.

Afterward, he called someone from an agency, asking them to help him purchase a merry-go-round and a seesaw, with the largest possible dimensions and specifications.

Without considering cost-effectiveness, the items were delivered to the workshop shortly after the morning sun had risen.

After paying, Zhang Mu put the packaging boxes into his inventory and went to find several amusement parks, smashing a few merry-go-rounds and seesaws of the same model to avoid his factory owner identity being traced and exposed.

Although it was essentially a fabrication, changing it, no matter how convenient, still required time. Even if it only took five minutes, Zhang Mu felt it was still a waste.

Afterward, he flew to the sea area where the Fallen Spirit was active.

On the way, he had already guessed what the two amusement facilities were for.

Toby and Leon were adults, and Zhang Mu had never noticed that they still harbored childhood joys in their hearts.

Undoubtedly, the items were bought for the little girl, Misha.

Having figured this matter out, a new confusion appeared in Zhang Mu’s mind.

In the open sea without any land, where would there be space to place them?

They couldn’t possibly build an artificial island, right?

Shaking his head with a wry smile, Zhang Mu dismissed this possibility in his heart.

But when he landed on the Fallen Spirit’s shoulder, he deeply felt that his previous decision had been too hasty.

”You used the magic power I worked so hard to replenish for you to build an island on the sea, just to place a merry-go-round and a seesaw?”

His mind did not receive any Mental Energy message.

Zhang Mu, standing on its shoulder, focused his gaze on its side profile. The big guy guiltily turned its head to the other side, leaving Zhang Mu with a massive back of its head.

”What is it doing?”

The three who remained on the deck were somewhat curious as they saw the Mountain Rock Giant’s actions.

”It seems... to be talking to someone,” Leon said hesitantly.

”Come on, how could there be...” Toby slowly closed his mouth.

He remembered that in the video played by the Queen, there was indeed a blurry segment.

That was an ordinary human male who looked even younger than himself, but he was definitely not truly ordinary.

After all, no matter how one thought about it, an ordinary human male could not possibly sit on the Mountain Rock Giant’s shoulder with a relaxed expression and give the middle finger to the satellite overhead.

He furtively looked up, examining the Mountain Rock Giant gazing into the distance of the sea, wondering if that man was nearby.

It was very likely.

The Immortal from the East, whom they had met once, could turn invisible, and the Headmaster could do it as well; the process was not difficult.

A ”calamity” with the strength to be their enemy had no reason not to know such a simple technique.

”Are you looking for me?”

Toby was startled and looked toward the Mountain Rock Giant’s right shoulder.

There sat a young man wearing denim jeans and a white shirt.

His posture was the same as in the video they had watched: his right leg stretched straight, his left leg bent, his arm resting on his knee, his expression indescribably relaxed, as if he were on a pleasant journey.

”Sir, you...”

”Mr. Solon.”

Startled by the sudden situation, the three of them moved closer together. Toby suppressed the trembling in his heart: ”Mr. Solon, have you been watching us the whole time?”

Although the person in front of them looked kind, Toby would not mistake a man capable of commanding a ”calamity” for a harmless little rabbit.

”Not at all.”

”Then...” Toby quietly moved his neck, which had been tilted up for a long time and was now a bit stiff. ”Is there a reason you’ve appeared?”

”The answer might hurt your self-esteem, but please forgive my bluntness: you are not yet worthy of me taking you seriously.”

While answering, he floated down from the shoulder to the ground in front of the three of them: ”Little ones, your Headmaster has some skills, but that shouldn’t be a reason for you to be proud.”

The other party made no aggressive moves, yet Toby felt a heavy pressure and fell silent involuntarily.

After a long while, Misha blinked and pointed at the Mountain Rock Giant, which was crouching while hugging its legs: ”Big Brother, are you its master?”

”Master, or whatever...” Mr. Solon looked up. ”Friends.”

”It seems very happy to meet us.”

”Yes, staying in the sea is indeed boring. It’s rare for it to meet new friends, so of course it’s happy. For this, it even troubled me to run out and buy this specifically.”

Mr. Solon waved his hand lightly, and the merry-go-round and seesaw appeared in the air, slowly landing on the ground.

”Oh! Thank you very much, Big Brother Solon, and Uncle Big Rock.”

Misha excitedly sat on one side of the seesaw, while expressing her gratitude to the ”two of them.”

It was quite obvious, however, that she couldn’t play on the seesaw by herself. Her little legs kicked hard twice to no avail, and she looked at Mr. Solon with a pleading gaze.

Before she could voice her invitation to play, a rock finger pressed down on the other end, lifting the little girl into the air.

Watching them play happily for a moment, Mr. Solon withdrew his gaze and asked Toby, who was standing there dazed: ”Now, let’s talk business.”

”Uh, what do you mean?”

”For example, why you came here.” After saying this, he added, ”Don’t tell me you were sent by humans to monitor me.”

”Mr. Solon, although we also think the fact is somewhat absurd, it is indeed as you said.” Leon poked his head out from behind Toby, and immediately retracted it after speaking.

Mr. Solon stared at Toby, who swallowed hard and nodded.

”You...” Mr. Solon mused for a moment. ”Forget it, it’s probably that old man with the white beard’s bad sense of humor.”

Seeing that the other party didn’t seem to have any intention of harming them, Leon gathered his courage and walked out from behind Toby: ”Can we leave now?”

”No.”

Perhaps not expecting such a decisive refusal, he was somewhat astonished: ”Why?”

”I have no interest in crushing ants, but... before I set off for Hogwarts, you are responsible for keeping Otto company. Hmm... it would be best not to refuse.”

His wording was tactful, and he didn’t explain what would happen if they refused. Toby and Leon didn’t want to know either, so they wisely chose to shut up.

”Very good. Then, if you need anything, tell Otto, and it will relay it to me.”

As the words fell, his figure disappeared.

The two looked at Misha, who was playing to her heart’s content, exchanged a glance, and walked away with their heads hung in resignation.

...

After leaving the man-made island, Zhang Mu quickly rushed to the Queen’s palace, intending to discuss with her the matter of relocating the coastal citizens.

Although the Fallen Spirit’s technique for controlling magic power was very precise, human bodies were ultimately too fragile.

Being hit by a slightly stronger wave could potentially cause them to lose their lives instantly or be swept into the sea.

He had no grudges or enmity with the coastal people, so there was no need to harm them.

Of course, Zhang Mu wasn’t prepared to preach; he would simply notify them and clearly state the severity of the consequences.

If anyone stubbornly remained by the seaside, then so be it.

Zhang Mu always respected the wishes of others.

Upon learning that the ”calamity” would land in the coming days, the Queen immediately arranged for the Royal Guards to go and carry out the task of relocating the citizens.

Afterward, she very enthusiastically asked Zhang Mu when the trade between Hogwarts and the kingdom would begin.

Zhang Mu actually hoped for it to be soon as well, but the matter at the Mountain Gate hadn’t been handled yet, and he couldn’t split himself, so he could only push it off until after the ”calamity” was resolved.

After speaking, he bid farewell to the somewhat dejected Queen, returned all the way to NH, opened the ”World” light gate, and stepped inside.

As usual, he first checked on the Academicians.

They were, as usual, gathered around the stone table in the corner of the courtyard, discussing the subsequent plans.

First was the establishment of the laboratory; the three old men had different opinions.

Old Sun believed that excavating an underground laboratory in the mountains near the NH coast was best, but the other two advocated for opening it directly inside the Mountain Gate after seeking permission from Immortal Xu.

This way, not only would safety be guaranteed, but the proximity would also make obtaining materials and the like more convenient.

To this, Old Sun replied with a sneer, ”The air composition inside the Mountain Gate is different from the outside, and with these celestial phenomena and terrain, who dares to guarantee that the laws of physics are the same? If the laws of physics aren’t even the same, what the hell are you experimenting on?”

The argument made sense, but Old Sun’s mouth was too foul. The two temporarily interrupted the discussion, rolled up their sleeves, and went to gang up on him, while the assistants and Ye Ming and others hurriedly tried to break up the fight.

The scene immediately descended into chaos.

Zhang Mu waved his hand in annoyance and turned to head to the top of the back mountain.

At this moment, the five of them were in the midst of diligent training.

Luo Xiling, who had already established a spiritual connection with the moon bright sword, did not slack off and return to the courtyard to be lazy, but was earnestly helping the four of them ”gain insight.”

Of course, this came with a price.

The four’s form of address for her had changed from the initial ”Miss Luo” to the current ”Senior Sister Luo.”

Originally, they were not very willing.

In modern society, the concept that ”the one who is capable is the teacher” had long been ground into dust by the cruelty of history, and instead, the ”elder” rule determined by age groups was followed.

I am older than you, so you must show me basic respect, even if we are strangers to each other.

Except for the young girl, the other three were all a few years older than Luo Xiling.

Therefore, having to call her Senior Sister made them feel somewhat awkward inside.

But later, Luo Xiling spent her days forming sword seals and showing off ”Sword Control Technique” in front of everyone, and the four, anxious about the assessment, finally succumbed to her tyranny.

Since she had become the big sister, she couldn’t just enjoy herself without putting in effort, so she spent her days busy guiding the three of them in their cultivation.

Although she herself didn’t know if her guidance had any effect at all.

Watching her circle around the four sitting cross-legged on the ground, spouting nonsense ”incantations,” Zhang Mu’s face turned dark.

”Can’t dawdle any longer.”

Muttering to himself, he manipulated his Mental Energy, surging toward the long swords resting across the four’s laps.
