Extraordinary in Reality Through Magic Games

205: Chapter 203 This performance is technically supported by Hogwarts.Zhao Qi never expected that his mission would not only be completed successfully, but would actually exceed expectations.

After the Queen warmly received the two of them, Leon decided to lay his cards on the table—he admitted he was actually a student of Hogwarts.

As a way to thank Zhao Qi for a meal, Leon used his privileges to bring him into the palace to watch the performance up close.

To be honest, although the other party had indeed been a big help, it didn’t stop Zhao Qi from marveling at the young man’s naivety.

Wasn’t he afraid that Zhao Qi had ulterior motives?

Well, Zhao Qi did indeed have ulterior motives.

In any case, the matter was resolved.

Zhao Qi thought with relief that his plane ticket could now be reimbursed. If he could gain some other insights, he figured the Director’s anger would dissipate quite a bit.

Thus, after a routine search by the butler, he settled into a guest room in the side hall. He planned to wait for the performance to end before taking a trip to the site of the massive crater on the outskirts of London, and then he could head home.

However, ”surprises” always happen when one is least prepared.

Once the Queen had collected basically all the intelligence she wanted, she announced that the performance would take the form of a ”mobile open-air stage” and summoned five Hogwarts freshmen to the palace to prepare.

Upon hearing the news, Zhao Qi, accompanied by Butler Li, immediately jogged to the living room where the five were resting, wanting to see what wizards looked like.

Unsurprisingly, he ran right into Toby.

Although Toby wasn’t particularly skilled in things like infiltration or counter-intelligence, he knew Zhao Qi’s identity.

The moment he saw him, Toby turned around to report to the Queen.

A bewildered Zhao Qi found that while things were fine when he arrived, he couldn’t leave now.

For whatever reason, the Queen did not treat him roughly or interrogate him; instead, she gave him a well-equipped room in the palace.

It wasn’t until the man was under house arrest that Leon snapped out of it, fearfully seeking out the Queen to state that he had been unaware of the situation.

In response, the Queen did not voice any blame and even comforted him, telling him not to worry too much.

He was deeply moved and said earnestly that he would learn the relevant knowledge as soon as possible to be able to distinguish who was an enemy among a crowd.

However, the Queen only shook her head with a smile.

”Protecting a child’s innocence is the responsibility of us adults,”

She said.

Later, the Queen explained the specific details of the performance the day after tomorrow to the group.

First, she thanked Hogwarts for the technical support provided for the show.

Before the freshmen went on holiday, Zhang Mu had met with the Queen and informed her of the date for the next school term.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, she proposed her idea of holding a magic performance.

After pondering for a few seconds, Zhang Mu felt that as long as it promoted the ”extraordinary,” it was a good thing, so he agreed.

He also informed her that since it was a ”magic performance,” the stage shouldn’t be too petty, so he would lend her something that could fly.

He also enthusiastically added that at the end of the program, he would make a guest appearance as a favor.

The Queen didn’t quite understand why this Headmaster of Hogwarts—a wizard at least several hundred years old—was willing to be a special guest.

But thinking carefully, this undoubtedly demonstrated the deep friendship between Hogwarts and Ying Country, so there was no reason to decline.

Besides, if she really refused, heaven only knew what Dumbledore would do if he became unhappy.

One needn’t care about an angry ordinary person, but when it came to a wizard capable of destroying heaven and earth, anyone would be worried.

Having said all that, the Queen then informed them of the programs to be performed.

There was no need to design anything fancy; they just needed to demonstrate their daily school training curriculum.

When the Queen visited Hogwarts, she had seen their magic classes and was certain that those spells would be sufficient for a performance.

This was also one of the reasons she didn’t require the five to rehearse in advance.

Additionally, with only ten days of vacation, she wanted to let the children rest.

Hearing that they only needed to perform their daily training routines, the five—even Wino, who was usually very calm—breathed a sigh of relief.

They hadn’t been studying magic for very long; if they really had to do something high-end, they might not be able to handle it.

After the arrangements were made, the five took out the magic script textbooks they carried with them to review.

They also had their training wands with them. Logically, it would be better to practice before the official performance.

But before leaving school, Hag had warned them that the Blue Star lacked abundant magic power, or rather, it had none at all.

Therefore, to cast spells on the Blue Star, they could only use the limited magic stored within the wand.

Once it was exhausted, they would be no different from ordinary Muggles.

To ensure the performance the day after tomorrow went normally, they could only look at their wands for now.

A day passed in the blink of an eye.

The third day.

Just as the sun peeked over the horizon, London citizens who had returned home flocked back to the streets after learning it would be a mobile stage.

As if to celebrate this rare grand event, the Royal Family gave employees of other departments the day off, excluding the police force necessary to maintain order.

Coupled with travelers who had heard the news early and rushed from all over Ying Country and countries around the world.

At this moment, the streets and alleys of London were almost entirely covered by footsteps.

The happiest among them were undoubtedly the restaurants with open-air rooftop terraces.

Even though prices were raised again and again until they were so expensive that the managers feared they might be hung from lamp posts afterward, there was still no shortage of wealthy tourists filling the seats.

Some local London citizens with rooftops at home were also unwilling to miss the chance to make a fortune, putting out signs to attract guests outside their doors.

Amidst this bustling scene, in the palace gardens far in the suburbs, a wooden platform slowly rose into the sky.

Toby didn’t seem to be afraid of heights anymore; he took small steps to the edge, hands on his hips as he looked down at the ground. ”Isn’t the Headmaster worried his students will fall off?”

A somewhat frightened Misha hugged Leon’s leg tightly, not daring to move.

He patted her head comfortingly and replied, ”The Headmaster said the stage has a defensive barrier; we won’t fall... Hmm, maybe you could try?”

I’m quite curious to see what the defensive barrier looks like.”

Returning with a dark face, Toby asked, ”Why don’t you go try it?”

”Uh, I’m afraid of heights.”

”And you think I’m not?”

”I remember that during the entrance exam, didn’t you already overcome your fear of heights?”

”That was overcoming a fear of heights, not a fear of death! If I fall, I’ll die!”

Perhaps sensing that everyone was a bit nervous about the upcoming magic performance, the two deliberately talked nonsense to ease the heavy atmosphere.

It just didn’t seem to work very well.

Misha still kept her eyes tightly shut while hugging Leon’s leg. Klaisi stood silently nearby, and Wino, standing beside him, was looking down, deep in thought about something.

Toby wasn’t curious about what he was thinking. Wino often had his head lowered in thought; if Toby were curious about everything, he wouldn’t have time for anything else.

”Speaking of which,” Leon said, looking out at the distant city skyline, ”where is the Queen’s spectator seating?”

”It should be the Headmaster’s vehicle.”

”That old car?”

”Yes.”

”Alright then.”

Leon was also apprehensive deep down. He only stopped talking because he truly had nothing left to say, waiting for the wooden platform to fly closer to London while recalling the specific process.

The stage will land in seven relatively open squares in London, so I just need to repeat the daily magic training seven times, and it will be a perfect ending.

He kept brainwashing himself as time flew by.

When the sun had fully risen, the stage landed in the open space in the center of the first square amidst the cheers of the people on the ground.
