Apocalypse: Goddess Catalog, Starting With Twin Sisters!

Chapter 140: Chapter 135: Telekinesis Sword

It had to be said, encountering such a disgusting flesh-ball monster was a real eye-opener for Mengde!

What he hadn’t expected, however, was that this giant ball of flesh would react so quickly.

It had instantly smelled the scent of these outsiders.

Of course, in the eyes of this leader of the West City Rescue Base, they were just fresh meat.

”Hehehe... Fresh meat, delivered right to my door!”

Hearing this, Mengde knew the ball of flesh had definitely discovered them.

He stopped Leng Feng, who was about to push the door open, and pulled them back.

”Boss, aren’t we going in?”

Mengde shook his head.

”No need. It’ll be out soon.”

Sure enough, it wasn’t long before the ground began to tremble, accompanied by the sound of heavy breathing from the air-raid shelter’s passage.

A huge, three-meter-tall ball of flesh appeared before them.

Although Mengde had already seen it with his Telekinesis Perception,

seeing it in person was still astonishing.

The ball of flesh was incredibly tall, standing there like a mountain peak. Its entire body was covered in sagging flesh that looked like an old woman’s dish rag,

dragging on the ground, long and foul-smelling.

On its decaying body, the skin had long since ulcerated.

Moss-like bumps covered its necrotic flesh.

Fist-sized pustules reeked to high heaven.

Mengde and the others could smell the vile stench even from a great distance.

A thick, blackish-red fluid continuously oozed out of them.

It was utterly horrifying!

As it walked over, Mengde could see that its organs were already deformed.

But strangely, this leader didn’t seem to feel a trace of pain!

A monster!

A monster through and through, no doubt about it!

Just then, a system notification popped up:

[Superpower User: Han Niba]

[Awakened Superpower: Hungry Corpse Demon]

[Superpower Level: Tier Five Peak]

[Affinity: -100]

[System Introduction: The Hungry Corpse Demon is a Half-Infected, existing between a zombie and a normal person. It is an insatiably hungry demon that feeds on humans, using living people or corpses as a source for evolution!]

[System Friendly Reminder: Han Niba is enormous and has extremely high physical defense. Host, please be careful!]

[Weaknesses: Slow movement speed, weak in the soul aspect. Thunder and Psychic Superpowers both have a suppressive effect.]

’Heh!’

’Since when was Tongzi so caring!’

’So detailed?!’

’If only it could boost the Goddess rewards, too!’

Seeing such a detailed System Introduction, Mengde relaxed considerably.

But for Leng Feng and the others, it was a different story.

Although they didn’t retreat in fear, and even subconsciously moved to shield Mengde,

their brows were tightly furrowed. It seemed this was the first time they had seen such a monster.

While Leng Feng and the others were still pondering, the Han Niba across from them spoke.

”Hehehe!”

”So you’re the meat that Gao Qiu and those two other pieces of trash brought back?”

As Han Niba spoke, he disgustingly stuck out his enormous tongue and licked his lips.

”This time, the meat looks truly delicious!”

”Much better than those useless women!”

”Come on into my belly. I’ll be sure to treat you well.”

”Would you like to be braised or steamed?”

”Just say the word, and I’ll grant your wish.”

”Hehehe~~”

’Huh?’

Mengde raised an eyebrow.

’I can’t believe this thing hasn’t lost its human intellect.’

’The Yu Hualong I encountered before was mindless after transforming into the Thousand-legged Corpse-Eating Insect.’

’Is this the advantage of being a Half-Infected?’

Still, looking at the thing’s enormous body, Mengde curled his lip.

’Not very impressive!’

”You must be mistaken. We’re not meat!”

”That Gao Qiu and his two friends you mentioned? I killed them long ago.”

”By now, they’ve probably already crossed the Naihe Bridge!”

Hearing that Gao Qiu’s trio had been killed, Han Niba showed no anger at all.

Instead, a look of disdain crossed his face.

”Three pieces of trash, dead already!”

”Looks like I’ll have to find three new servants!”

”But before that, I’ll just eat the few of you first! Hehehe~~~”

This time, considering the danger of this man-eating leader, Mengde had only brought Leng Feng, Brother Jingfu, and Lei Qiang inside.

As for Tiezhu, he had been assigned to guard the RV.

After all, Fei’er and Xiaoyao were still in the vehicle.

They had also expended energy during the earlier fight with the West City Guards.

So Mengde had let them rest.

It was a good thing he’d let them rest, too.

Otherwise, after seeing this monster, he wouldn’t get to enjoy the girls’ ”spectacular performance” on the way back.

Knowing that trading nonsense with Han Niba would only lead to more nonsense,

Mengde waved his hand.

He immediately had Leng Feng and the others attack.

Brother Jingfu was in charge of close combat, while Lei Qiang and Leng Feng handled ranged attacks.

The arrangement seemed pretty good.

They could have taken down an ordinary Tier Six Superpower User!

Unfortunately, they were now facing Han Niba, a man-eating monster!

After a round of attacks, only Lei Qiang’s Thunder Attack had any effect.

As for Leng Feng and Brother Jingfu, their attacks barely penetrated Han Niba’s physical defense.

Mengde saw this and wasn’t surprised.

’Sure enough, Tongzi’s info is the real deal!’

”Hehehe! My meat actually dares to attack me.”

”You’re really asking to die!”

Han Niba waved his massive hand, and Brother Jingfu was sent flying.

Fortunately, his physical conditioning was strong enough that he managed to stabilize himself.

But the blood trickling from the corner of his mouth was enough to show the strength of that last attack.

Leng Feng also failed to dodge.

Faced with a monster with such freakishly high physical defense, their attacks seemed rather inadequate.

Lei Qiang’s thunder was decent, but its effect was limited!

Mengde knew it was his turn to act!

Following the System’s introduction, Mengde unleashed his SSS-Level Thunder Superpower—Thunderbolt Hand!

While Han Niba was still grinning smugly,

”Hahaha! A bunch of losers!”

a giant hand of thunder descended from the sky, slamming directly onto Han Niba’s enormous head.

It smashed his head down into his body!

Blood splattered everywhere!

Then came the Sea of Thunder. CRACKLE! A literal ocean of lightning immediately enveloped Han Niba!

He let out a pained, bloodcurdling scream.

It left countless scars all over his body.

Various internal organs were even electrocuted right out of him.

But his piled-up physical defense was truly terrifying!

Two of Mengde’s ultimate moves, and they still hadn’t killed him outright!

”Damn you!”

”You piece of meat dare to hit me!”

”I’ll eat you!”

Han Niba furiously opened his massive mouth.

A tremendous suction force, like that of an abyss, emanated from it, pulling toward Mengde with terrifying devouring power!

Mengde’s brow furrowed.

Not because of the terrifying suction, but because he had been offended!

”Damn it! Didn’t you brush your teeth this morning?!”

”Your breath stinks!”

With a thought, Mengde activated his Telekinesis Superpower—Telekinesis Transformation!

”Strong physical defense, huh?! Then try this on for size!”

”Telekinesis Sword!”

As soon as the words left his mouth, a phantom Telekinesis Sword materialized.

Han Niba instantly had a bad feeling. The countdown to his death had begun...
