Mengde looked at the Superpowers he had awakened and was very satisfied.

He was especially pleased when he saw the newly added SSS-Level Superpower, ”Superpower Stealing.”

It made him ecstatic!

This Superpower was the perfect solution to his current needs.

He had analyzed his current situation last night.

He knew why Leng Feng and his team were so easily ambushed when they went out.

The biggest reason was that they didn’t have enough Superpower Users.

As a result, even though Leng Feng and the others had all reached Tier Four, they still found themselves swarmed by enemy Superpower Users!

You have to understand, Leng Feng’s team always went out to scavenge for supplies in groups of thirty to forty people.

But only about a quarter of them were Superpower Users.

There was nothing to be done about it.

The base currently had fewer than 100 Superpower Users in total.

Most of them had to remain behind to defend the base.

Furthermore, these 100 Superpower Users had only gradually awakened their Superpowers under the influence of Mengde’s Seed of Consciousness.

Very few had awakened on their own.

Keep in mind, nearly all the survivors in the base had been rescued by him.

With rare exceptions like Lei Qiang, these rescued survivors were almost all ordinary people who hadn’t awakened any Superpowers.

In fact, anyone who had awakened a Superpower wouldn’t have been captured and imprisoned in the first place.

After all, in the apocalypse, strength is everything!

In Hua Country, very few people had firearms.

Without some gray-market channels, they were truly difficult to obtain.

But even if you managed to get a gun, it might not be useful.

Once a Superpower User reached Tier Four, a typical handgun posed little threat to them!

Unless you could land a direct headshot, they weren’t much of a danger.

Under these circumstances, awakened Superpower Users were exceptionally important.

It’s just that... Superpower Users were a scarce resource in the apocalypse!

Not everyone had the chance to awaken!

But as long as someone could awaken—regardless of the Superpower—their status would always be a cut above that of an ordinary person.

That’s why the position of Superpower Users in the apocalypse was rather awkward when facing incredibly powerful factions.

If they couldn’t win, they either chose to join or got taken out!

The chances of being imprisoned were minuscule.

They certainly wouldn’t be waiting around for him to rescue and recruit them!

After all, having hostile Superpower Users around is a potential threat!

This led directly to Mengde’s dilemma:

If Mengde wanted more Superpower Users now, he either had to wait for the people in his base to reach 100 Affinity, a level of die-hard loyalty, and then use his Seed of Consciousness to slowly help them awaken Superpowers.

This method, while a bit slow, at least gave hope to the ordinary people who couldn’t awaken on their own.

The only other option was to go out and recruit them himself!

’But now... with Superpower Stealing, none of this will be a problem!!!’

[Superpower Replication: Infinitely replicate the Superpowers of other Superpower Users for your own use!]

[Superpower Ability Seizure: Completely strip the Superpowers from other Superpower Users!]

[Superpower Granting: Grant the stripped Superpowers to other people!]

[Granting Condition: Can be granted to anyone with an Affinity of 100 (die-hard loyalty)!]

After reading the system’s information prompts, Mengde was grinning from ear to ear.

’This SSS-Level Superpower Stealing couldn’t have come at a better time!’

If replicating Superpowers merely increased the type and number of his own abilities, just skimming a little off the top from others...

Then seizing Superpowers was like carving the living heart out of their chests!

And it could be done without them even knowing!

The importance of Superpowers in the apocalypse goes without saying.

Once a person lost their Superpower and became ordinary, they were no different from a lamb waiting for slaughter.

Take Tier Four Superpower Users like Yu Hualong and He Erqing, for example.

Imagine if Mengde used Superpower Ability Seizure on them.

Without their Superpowers, would they still be so arrogant?

In this apocalypse, they wouldn’t last three seconds!

Their own subordinates would definitely team up and kick them right off their leadership thrones.

Being the boss meant you could enjoy the best supplies and screw the best women!

Isn’t that every man’s dream?!

So this move was a backstabber’s ”divine weapon” that could knock any Superpower User from the heavens down to the mud!

’This is too much!’

’It’s too brutal!’

’But I... am so damn satisfied!’

The corner of Mengde’s mouth twisted into the crooked smile of a triumphant Dragon King.

But what made him happiest was the final ability: ”Superpower Granting”!

Compared to his previous method of increasing the number of Superpower Users in his base—rescuing survivors, planting the ”Seed of Consciousness” in them, and recruiting them—this was so much faster!

With ”Superpower Granting,” he could personally forge an entire army of Superpower Users!

Of course, that was on the condition that there were enough villainous NPC Superpower Users for him to seize Superpowers from.

After all, seizing and granting was a one-two combo!

He had to seize a Superpower first before he could even think about granting it.

Even so, Mengde thought it was freaking awesome.

This was the ultimate tool for building up his base!

’It’s just a shame about all those Superpower Users under He Erqing and Yu Hualong!’

Mengde felt like he’d missed out on a fortune!

But it didn’t matter.

While there weren’t many awakened Superpower Users in the apocalypse, there certainly weren’t few either!

’Just give me a few dozen more factions like He Erqing’s and Yu Hualong’s.’

’My Yulong Base could be upgraded into a proper Superpower Base!’

At this thought, the triumphant Dragon King’s crooked smile on Mengde’s face could no longer be contained.

He could almost see the buttholes of countless base leaders... Bah! No, a chill must be running down their spines!

’Don’t be afraid, my dear boys!’

’I, Mengde, will take good care of your Superpowers and your wives... HEH HEH HEH...’

At this moment, Mengde was, without a doubt, a complete villain!

That villainous smile, in particular, made Sister Yun—who had been eating the ”noodles” Mengde served her all night—shudder, even in her deep sleep.

”Honey, no more, please!”

”Yun’er is going to be bullied to death by you...”
