Apocalypse: Goddess Catalog, Starting With Twin Sisters!

Chapter 132: Chapter 128: What I, Mengde, Like Most Are People Who Selflessly Contribute

”Gao Qiu?”

Hearing the self-introduction from the fat guy in the lead, a strange expression appeared on Mengde’s face.

It instantly reminded him of someone!

Someone who didn’t exist in this Otherworld!

An Officer Gao who wasn’t afraid of death and loved nothing more than to screw the wife of the commander of the eight hundred thousand Forbidden Army soldiers.

He remembered that this Officer Gao’s father also loved to offer amnesty to rebels.

As for the consequences... heh heh...

How did that saying go again?

When Gao Qiu comes to offer amnesty, not a single person dares to speak.

After reading the system’s notification, Mengde became even more certain of his guess.

This group was led by the fat man named Gao Qiu.

He had a very friendly smile, but anyone familiar with the entertainment industry would know.

There’s a certain kind of smile called a professional fake smile!

Not to mention the hint of contempt revealed in the guy’s eyes!

Gao Qiu was a Tier Four Superpower User. Among the twenty-odd people with him, every single one looked vicious, and almost all of them were armed Superpower Users!

’Their strength isn’t bad!’

However, while they appeared completely unconcerned by the defensive posture of Lei Qiang and the others, a closer look revealed they were already prepared for a fight.

It seemed they would open fire the second things went south!

Because of this, Mengde instinctively raised his guard as well.

’This group means trouble!’

Seeing the expression on Mengde’s face, Gao Qiu wondered if he had somehow given himself away.

His eyes darted around, and he quickly asked,

”Is something wrong, my friend?”

”You don’t look so good!”

Mengde shook his head, his expression unreadable.

”It’s nothing. I’m Mengde, the leader of this base.”

”You said earlier that you were sent by the government?”

Gao Qiu, dressed in a business suit, looked quite presentable on the surface.

His smile was very friendly.

But Mengde knew that this sort of person, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, was the most revolting.

Especially this guy. The moment Fei’er and Xiaoyao appeared at Mengde’s side, his eyes had practically frozen on them, a flash of undisguised lust in his gaze.

”That’s right!”

”We’re from the West City Rescue Base!”

”We’re specifically responsible for rescuing scattered survivors in the West District of East Sea City.”

”Ahem... an official organization!”

Gao Qiu made sure to strongly emphasize the ”official organization” part at the end.

Mengde, of course, noticed.

But this long after the apocalypse began, he had long since stopped caring about any official rescue efforts. He really couldn’t give a damn.

The two women beside him didn’t react either.

Never mind that before the apocalypse, Fei’er was the secretary to the CEO of a trillion-dollar corporation, and Xiaoyao was the famous campus belle of the East Sea Art Academy.

Before the apocalypse, their social status was high, and their positions sounded impressive.

But to be honest, ever since they started following Mengde, their lives were much more carefree than before the apocalypse.

One no longer had to work the 9-9-6 grind as a corporate slave every day.

The other was free from the pressures of academia.

From time to time, they could even enjoy the ”intimate services” of their husband (or brother-in-law).

He would personally teach them all sorts of ”knowledge,” relieving the fatigue in their bodies!

Look, in the days since the apocalypse began, while others were fighting to the death for a mouthful of food, these two had actually gained a few pounds.

Gao Qiu had expected them to jump for joy the moment he announced he was from an official organization.

After all, he had used this line to trick plenty of people into going to the West City Rescue Base.

But their current reaction was something he had never encountered before.

Seeing Mengde remain silent, Gao Qiu started to get anxious.

”What’s the matter? Brother Mengde, do you not trust the strength of our West City Rescue Base?”

Mengde chuckled.

”No, it’s not that.”

”I still trust our country.”

As Mengde spoke, he turned his head to look past Gao Qiu’s group at the dozen or so vehicles following them.

On the four buses were women who were all quite attractive.

Of course, they couldn’t possibly compare to Fei’er and Xiaoyao!

The reason Fei’er and the others could be called Goddesses was because each possessed her own unique charm!

Otherwise, did they think they could attract him, Mengde, with a woman’s ”three mouths” alone?

What a load of bullshit!

It would be an insult to his little brother!

You have to understand, he, Mengde, was not an animal who thought with his lower body!

The remaining vehicles were trucks... You couldn’t see anything with the naked eye.

Fortunately, Mengde had Telekinesis Perception.

One scan was all it took for Mengde’s brow to furrow.

Because inside the opaque cargo containers, more than half were filled with corpses;

The other, smaller portion contained people who were beaten black and blue, on the verge of death!

The faces of these people were masks of terror and despair!

He could understand capturing the attractive women; they could be used to relieve certain... urges.

But what were they doing with so many corpses?

Mengde couldn’t help but frown.

Although he couldn’t figure it out right away, he had basically confirmed one fact.

He could now be certain that this group was a fake official organization.

Heh heh... What kind of official rescue team treats the people they’ve rescued like this?

If that were the case, you wouldn’t even need an apocalypse.

People would have long ago followed the example of certain citizens of Xu Country and started their own Taiping Rebellion, overthrowing the rich to divide up their land.

They would have kicked off the ”final, wild revelry”!

Since he had already determined this group wasn’t a state-sponsored rescue team, then their true identity was obvious.

They were probably no different from the likes of He Erqing and Yu Hualong.

Just another group hiding behind the banner of official rescue.

If he hadn’t obtained the SSS-Level Superpower Stealing from Sister Yun last night, Mengde would have just attacked and annihilated them.

After all, it would only take a single slap to take care of them.

But now...

Mengde decided to make use of this trash....

Over twenty Superpower Users, ripe for the picking. Wouldn’t it be a waste to just kill them outright!

You will all become the nourishing soil for my Yulong Base!

Heheheh...

A wicked grin, like the Big Bad Wolf disguised as grandma, spread across Mengde’s lips.

Watching him, Fei’er and Xiaoyao, who stood on either side of him, grew flustered, their legs almost giving out.

’Husband (Brother-in-law), please stop playing around!’

’You’re really going to bruise my poor butt...’

”Are those the survivors you’ve rescued?”

Mengde gestured behind them.

Seeing this, Gao Qiu immediately puffed up with pride.

Gao Qiu had never laid eyes on such absolute knockouts as the two women beside Mengde before. His attention had been so captivated by them that he’d completely failed to notice the strange look on Mengde’s face.

”That’s right!”

”The people in the vehicles behind us are all survivors we rescued today.”

”Since everyone paid their taxes to the country, that makes them all good citizens of Hua Country!”

”It is the undeniable duty of our West City Rescue Base to save you.”

”And we will continue to selflessly contribute to everyone’s well-being!”

”Serving the people is our mission!”

”We will not hesitate even if it means sacrificing our own lives!!!”

Gao Qiu’s speech was delivered with righteous conviction, each word resonant and impactful...

He grew more and more agitated as he spoke!

And yet... Mengde didn’t believe a single word of it!

But he still flashed a very ”amiable” smile.

He looked Gao Qiu’s group up and down.

’Twenty-odd Superpower Users!’

’Twenty-odd leeks, ready to be harvested!’

”Oh, good, good, good!”

”I, Mengde, most admire selfless people like you.”
