Seizing the BOSS Template at the Start

This ancient castle is enormous, standing over fifty meters tall, equivalent to a dozen floors.

To the left of the castle lies a blood fountain, its crimson liquid bubbling ominously, exuding a pungent scent of blood, yet resembling magma.

On the right is a forest, where pairs of scarlet eyes flicker among the trees, as if evil ghosts from hell are watching the mortal realm, malevolence permeating the air.

Perhaps it’s no longer an illusion—they are indeed evil ghosts from hell!

Hiss~

The hellhound halted abruptly at the castle entrance, lowering its body, trembling more violently.

However, as Baiyi lifted the effects of malicious intimidation, his charm value returned to -6, and Sireon’s trembling slowly ceased, though he still dared not move recklessly.

Baiyi descended from the hellhound’s head, sniffing the sweet scent of blood. The blood pool on the left, seemingly similar to blood essence, was somewhat inferior.

Baiyi approached the blood essence, a scalpel appearing in his hand, attempting to submerge it within.

Hum~

The scalpel quivered violently, as if blood vessels appeared on the silver blade, sucking the blood incessantly, quickly forming a small whirlpool.

The faster it absorbed, the quicker the growth rate shot up from 0%, as it was a weapon nourished by blood, malice, and souls.

Much like Evil Thought, when wielding it for killing, both parties would grow together.

Currently, Baiyi possessed over 2,900 liters of blood essence, which was much more advanced than this blood fountain, and he sensed that within a year or two, it would become golden-level material.

That would be a qualitative change, which is why he hadn’t allowed the Extremely Evil Blade to absorb it yet.

Now, glancing back furtively, he figured it was best to benefit while he could.

At the top of the castle.

A young man with black wings, dressed in a suit adorned with gold jewelry and with a slender build, looked speechlessly at Baiyi’s actions.

As a devil, it was his first time witnessing such a person. There were many who ignored the checkpoints during the New God Era, but none had so brazenly utilized his belongings upon arrival.

In merely 1,600 years, people had evolved to such an unruly state, worrying the devil.

Eugene’s form faded, reappearing behind Baiyi as he adjusted his complex emotions, warmly welcoming his first challenger in two thousand years.

”My esteemed guest, it’s rather impolite to use a devil’s possessions without permission, you know~”

Eugene approached silently, speaking suddenly.

Baiyi ignored him, even placing the scalpel further into the pool, Extremely Evil Blade growth: 68%

Eugene: ....

”Esteemed guest, hell summons you. You must know our rules here; if you desire this blood, we can consider the blood pool a wager.”

Eugene continued politely, exuding elegance akin to a noble from the New God Era.

Baiyi reached deeper, Extremely Evil Blade growth: 80%

Eugene: .....

His elegance faltered as he watched a tenth of the blood pool vanish.

He roared ferociously, ”Enough! This isn’t some flock of sheep outside, this is hell! You greedy, shameless being of extreme evil!”

Baiyi immersed half an arm into the blood pool, still ignoring him.

Extremely Evil Blade growth: 90%

Eugene’s elegance vanished completely, his terrifying energy erupted as the blood pool before Baiyi vanished instantly.

Eugene roared again, ”I said enough! Greedy scoundrel! Are you starting hell’s game or not? Keep this up, and I’ll sanction you!”

Baiyi disregarded the devil, continuing his passive-aggressive stance. Here, the rule was that as long as one navigated the checkpoints safely, it signified the official start of the game, and neither party could harm the other before its conclusion.

After all, Eugene feared attracting more powerful legends. Without hell’s protection, he would have been long destroyed if players complained to the Sun Federation.

He regretted a bit, Extremely Evil Blade growth: 95%

Just a little more. He couldn’t help but glance at the forest on the right; the evil ghosts in hell seemed to count as soul bodies. Slaying them might allow the Extremely Evil Blade to transform?

Eugene noticed his gaze, roaring again, ”Despicable, greedy being of extreme evil, are you ready? I’m wagering my life against you!”

With his roar, the forest vanished under an unseen force, the regret in Baiyi’s eyes was evident.

He glanced behind the castle.

At once, this legendary demon appeared ahead, furiously yelling, ”No, nothing left here! Are you starting the game or not?”

Baiyi felt even more regretful, looking up at this legendary demon. Devils usually looked good, their elven-like appearance often deceiving many sentient beings into their hell.

”Let’s discuss the game’s rules, devil.” Baiyi remarked casually, adding, ”You’re so stingy.”

Eugene: ....

He calmed himself, turning towards the castle, speaking in a quickly steadying tone, ”This way, Mr. Extreme Evil, please follow me.”

Baiyi mused over it, realizing emotional control was indeed something; devils are truly seasoned deceivers.

When this devil dies, he might try summoning a similar instance and let Sabo handle it, potentially yielding considerable resources.
