Ms. Diviner: The Prodigal Daughter's Return

Chapter 1546: Chapter 1546: Spanking the Mischievous Kid’s Butt

”Forget it, you don’t need to feel guilty. The Young Master’s Qilin Blood Essence is still there, it’s just that half of it has dispersed, and this might not be a bad thing for him either.” Jue Dang knew the whole story and comforted them as he spoke.

”Oh?” Zhuang Ping’an and the others all looked at him in puzzlement.

”The Laws of the Holy Court Continent are incomplete right now. If the Young Master were to fully restore his Qilin Blood Essence at this moment, it would still be incomplete. It would be almost impossible to make up the rest of the Laws in the future. Better to wait until his cultivation has risen, then go to the Divine Continent or the North Abyss Misty Plain to restore the other half of the Qilin Blood Essence—that will be the true Divine Beast Blood Essence.” Jue Dang explained.

”So that’s how it is.” Only now did Han Yan understand that Jue Dang’s words were not just to comfort Zhuang Ping’an and the others, and she felt relieved.

Although if the Little Auspicious Beast were to fully restore his Qilin Blood Essence now, his strength would soar, if the Laws within it were incomplete, it would be as hard as ascending to heaven to improve in the future, and might even become a lifelong regret. Restoring half now, and waiting to restore the other half when the Laws are complete, was more suitable in the long run.

”Oink... oink...” The Little Auspicious Beast clearly hadn’t thought that far, nor did he care about the Qilin Blood Essence at all. He kept using his pig snout to nuzzle all over Han Yan, looking very affectionate.

”Looking at him like this, does he really still have half of the Qilin Blood Essence? How come he can’t even speak human words?” Zhuang Ping’an said skeptically.

”Who said I can’t speak human words? You blind bastard, didn’t grow any ears or what? Laozi just can’t be bothered to talk.” The Auspicious Beast suddenly twisted his head around and cursed at Zhuang Ping’an.

Uh... Staring at the little piglet that suddenly went off and started spewing foul language, everyone was dumbfounded.

After cursing that one line, the little piglet buried his head again and kept nudging around in Han Yan’s arms.

Han Yan grabbed him by the scruff and lifted him up. If this guy had really been beaten back to his original form, that would be one thing. But now that she knew he had already recovered half of his Qilin Blood Essence and his Spiritual Wisdom had awakened, and that he could rattle off filthy curses so fluently, letting him lie in her arms and nuzzle around made Lady Mu’s skin crawl. Also, Han Yan narrowed her eyes dangerously. This little bastard, swearing so smoothly, was clearly asking for a beating. Han Yan raised her hand and slapped the little piglet’s butt several times—pa pa pa—making him howl nonstop.

”Still going to swear? Huh? Still going to swear?” Han Yan was furious. If you don’t teach a brat properly when he’s young, what’s it going to be like when he grows up? When dealing with a demon brat, it’s one word: beat!

”No more, no more, owww...” The little piglet kept begging for mercy. Han Yan finally let him go.

Jue Dang watched Han Yan spanking the Young Master. Although his heart ached, he didn’t open his mouth to plead, because he also knew that cursing was wrong and should be corrected.

”Huh, what’s this?” Jue Dang suddenly let out a surprised cry.

”What’s wrong?” Han Yan and the others looked at him in confusion.

”My bloodline, my bloodline...” The Old Qilin trembled as he once again revealed his beast-form true body.

That beautiful figure—dragon head, deer antlers, elk body, ox tail—had already become exactly the same as the legendary Qilin, with not a trace of the Qilin clan’s former appearance.

Everyone turned in surprise to the little piglet in Han Yan’s arms... no, to the Kirin Young Master. So, he had not only used that half of the Qilin Blood Essence to help them break through and advance, but also helped the Old Qilin complete the final meridian clearing and marrow washing, truly transforming into a Qilin Divine Beast.

”Many thanks for the Young Master’s great grace. This kindness, this old servant could die a thousand times and still not repay.” Jue Dang knelt before the Little Auspicious Beast, tears of gratitude streaming down his face as he spoke.

Unfortunately, the little guy was pouting in grievance and sulking, too lazy to even look at him.

At this moment, Huayue and the others’ Sword Pets all let out long roars in unison. Their former listlessness was gone, and a faint Five-colored Divine Light now shone from their bodies. Their strength had clearly risen another notch, roughly reaching a Realm comparable to a Great Sword Master.

It turned out that not only the group of Descendants of Divine Guardian and Jue Dang had benefited greatly. They too had received immense benefits. Under the nourishment of that Qilin Blood Essence, they also underwent meridian clearing and marrow washing. Although they hadn’t transformed into Qilin like the Old Qilin, their bloodlines had undergone earth-shaking changes, and their future cultivation would definitely far surpass others of their kind.

The other Exotic Beasts around the Beast Soul Pool also raised their heads and let out long roars one after another. The benefits they gained weren’t as great as those of Jue Dang and the few Sword Pets, but were still far stronger than meridian clearing and marrow washing in the Beast Soul Pool. After all, this Beast Soul Pool had existed for a million years; the Qilin Blood Essence within had become extremely thin, far from comparable to the Blood Essence of the Kirin Young Master.

”My lord, while this Beast Spirit Illusion Realm hasn’t closed yet, you should hurry and choose your Sword Pets.” Jue Dang said to Han Yan. This was also something he had promised them earlier.

Zhuang Ping’an and the others were all extremely excited, but they didn’t start immediately. Instead, they stared at Han Yan, waiting for her to speak.

”Brother Zhuang, you all go ahead and choose.” Han Yan smiled as she spoke.

Only then did Zhuang Ping’an and the others walk forward in high spirits. These Exotic Beasts were naturally gentle in temperament. If they hadn’t been provoked earlier, they wouldn’t have shown the slightest hostility toward Han Yan and the others. Now that they saw the Kirin Young Master, they naturally had no resistance at all. To them, being able to become Sword Pets of these Descendants of Divine Guardian, just like the Kirin Young Master, was a tremendous honor.

The Beast Taming Technique they had painstakingly studied over the past few days ended up not being used at all, and Zhuang Ping’an and the others each obtained their dream Sword Pets.

”Young Master Mu, aren’t you going to pick another Sword Pet?” Seeing that Han Yan didn’t move at all, Zhuang Ping’an asked.

Huayue and the others were one thing—their Sword Pets were originally not weak, and after meridian clearing and marrow washing by the Qilin Blood Essence, both their aptitude and strength had greatly improved, so there was no need to choose new Sword Pets. But Han Yan’s Sword Pet, which looked ferocious and vicious, was just fierce in appearance. This Kirin Young Master had also lost half his Blood Essence, and judging from that pigheaded, pig-brained look, he probably didn’t have much combat power. This was exactly the time to tame another powerful Sword Pet.

”No need.” Han Yan glanced affectionately at the Little Auspicious Beast as she spoke.

In fact, those who benefited from the Qilin Blood Essence of the Little Auspicious Beast were not just the Old Qilin and the Exotic Beasts before them. Through the mental connection brought by the Master-Servant Contract, Han Yan clearly felt that some subtle changes had occurred in Taowu’s body as well. It was just that as soon as they finished advancing, that guy couldn’t wait to rush back to the Beast Soul Hall.

After all, it was only a Beast Soul Avatar. Whatever changes occurred would ultimately act upon the main body. Unfortunately, relying only on that mental connection, Han Yan didn’t know exactly what changes had taken place in its true body.

However, Han Yan was certain that the next time she saw Taowu, its strength would definitely have undergone a qualitative leap.

”The Kirin Young Master’s strength is, of course, beyond doubt, but since his Qilin Blood Essence hasn’t fully recovered, his strength is still greatly discounted. Once we head to the North Abyss Misty Plain, it’ll be full of dangers. It might be safer to subdue another Sword Pet.” Noticing the affectionate look in Han Yan’s eyes when she gazed at the Little Auspicious Beast, Zhuang Ping’an misunderstood her, thinking she was afraid that taking a new Sword Pet would hurt the Kirin Young Master’s pride, so he tried to persuade her tactfully.
