Ms. Diviner: The Prodigal Daughter's Return

Chapter 539: 539 Han Yan’s eggs are angry

”Impossible, impossible, what are you hiding?” Xia Youchen looked at Mu Hanyan with horror on his face, but after he said that, he froze.

A round egg was seen hovering in front of Mu Hanyan, emitting a holy white light all around it.

”What, what is this?” Xia Youchen suppressed the fear in his heart and asked in shock.

The other swordsmen were also stunned. Wasn’t this egg the same Exotic Beast Egg that hit Mu Hanyan on the head earlier? They distinctly felt that the quiet and peaceful aura was emanating from this Exotic Beast Egg.

Could it be, the Exotic Beast inside this egg, that has yet to hatch, is even more powerful than they imagined!

”Could this be the Divine Beast’s Egg?” The same thought emerged in Xia Youchen’s mind, going even further than what the younger swordsmen thought.

He was willing to destroy his body and waited for thousands of years, all for just a Divine Beast Relic, so naturally, the value of a Divine Beast’s Egg was self-evident.

A sharp light burst suddenly from Xia Youchen’s deep-set eyes. He lashed out quickly, reaching for the Beast Egg in front of Mu Hanyan. Under the enormous temptation, he even forgot the horror and fear.

”Boom!” A semi-transparent shockwave burst forcefully from above the Beast Egg, and with a muffled sound, Xia Youchen was shaken and kept stepping back.

The Beast Egg was also shaken and fell toward the ground.

Mu Hanyan could now also think that this so-called Exotic Beast Egg was probably more powerful than she imagined. Although she knew the eggshell was incredibly strong, she was still afraid it would break and instinctively reached out to catch it, but it was too late; the Exotic Beast Egg still fell to the ground.

”Thud!” When the Beast Egg hit the ground, it actually bounced up with a clear sound, then fell down again and bounced up.

”Thud...thud...thud...thud...” As everyone, including Mu Hanyan, watched in stunned silence, the Beast Egg bounced like a rubber ball, getting faster and higher with each bounce.

”Swoosh,” finally, the egg shot straight at Xia Youchen like a stone launched from a catapult. This Beast Egg seemed, perhaps, somewhat angry?

”Boom,” another loud noise, and Xia Youchen, who had not yet steadied himself, was blasted away again.

”Thud, thud, thud, thud,” the Beast Egg continued to accelerate and bounce, then shot towards Xia Youchen again.

”Ah!” Xia Youchen screamed in agony as he was directly blasted onto a cliffside; the solid cliff face was actually smashed to create a human-shaped indent.

Loose rocks tumbled down mercilessly on Xia Youchen’s head, with a series of earth-shattering dull sounds, Mu Hanyan even heard the cracking of bones.

And it was not over yet; the persistent Beast Egg kept bouncing repeatedly towards Xia Youchen.

After being hit multiple times, Xia Youchen didn’t dare to resist anymore and turned to run. However, the Beast Egg bounced and leaped with no intention of letting him go.

Then, a bizarre scene unfolded.

In a desolate valley, a scrawny old man looking like a dry corpse, with disheveled hair, darted among the scattered rocks, pursued relentlessly by a round egg bouncing like a rubber ball behind him. Although it was just an egg, not bigger than a slingshot pellet, once it hit someone, the thunderous sound was no less than thunder and lightning.

Mu Hanyan and the others were completely dumbfounded. This old man who was chased around by an egg, was he really the notorious Xia Youchen, who had shaken Anyun with the name of Beast Taming Sword Saint a thousand years ago?

Hadn’t the situation become too exaggerated?

Just a moment ago they were chased by Xia Youchen like dogs, and now it was Xia Youchen who was chased by Mu Hanyan’s egg like a dog!
