Return of Black Lotus system:Taming Cheating Male Leads

Chapter 23: Chapter-23

When Heena reached the secret chamber and opened the heavy door, she was immediately hit by the smell—cum and sweat, thick and pungent in the enclosed space. But beneath it, almost overwhelming it, was the sweet scent of lilies.

She paused, turning her head to the side. There on a table sat an enormous bouquet—easily a hundred white lilies in full bloom, their petals perfect and fragrant. A smile flashed across Heena’s face. The previous Empress had loved lilies above all other flowers, and these shadow guards truly went above and beyond. They’d filled the chamber with blooms to mask the unpleasant odors, ensuring nothing would irritate her during this visit.

Then her eyes fell on her five husbands. Their condition was... spectacular.

The toys were still working—still activated on their automated cycles. She could hear the mechanical whirring, the wet obscene sounds, the muffled groans being torn from gagged throats.

Prince Kieran hung in his wall restraints, the thick gag filling his mouth completely. His jaw ached from being forced open for so long, drool tracking down his chin. His ice-blue eyes burned with pure hatred when they locked onto her, even as his body betrayed him—another forced release spattering against his thighs. The humiliation in his expression was exquisite, fury and shame mixing as the toys continued their relentless assault. His powerful body trembled, muscles twitching involuntarily.

Duke Adrian on the X-frame had his eyes squeezed shut, the double-ended gag keeping both his mouth and ass filled. His face was flushed dark red with humiliation. When he sensed her presence and opened his golden eyes, the bitter resentment there could have killed. He tried to speak around the gag—angry, muffled sounds—but only drool escaped. His scholarly pride screamed in his expression even as his body convulsed with another unwanted climax.

General Lucian’s gag muffled what would have been curses. The scarred warrior glared at her with pure murder in his eyes, his suspended body jerking as the machines cycled again. Sweat poured down his face, mixing with involuntary tears of frustration. The legendary general reduced to this—and the rage in his expression showed he’d never forget it.

Lord Damien met her gaze over his gag, and even now, even like this, those sharp green eyes calculated. The toys worked him mercilessly on the inversion table, but he refused to close his eyes, refused to look away. Pride and humiliation battled across his pretty face as another shudder ran through him.

High Priest Raphael was the worst sight. The rosary beads cycled in and out mechanically while the gag kept his cries muffled. His violet eyes were red-rimmed, tears streaming down his face—but not from begging, from pure frustrated humiliation. When he saw Heena, those eyes flashed with defiant fury even as his weakest body gave up another orgasm. His face pressed against the prayer altar, shoulders shaking.

”Gentlemen,” Heena said, walking slowly between them, her heels clicking. ”I heard you wanted to see me. How sweet.”

Muffled sounds—curses, protests, rage—came from all five, but none of it intelligible through their gags.

Heena smiled and approached Kieran first. ”Let’s hear what you have to say, shall we?” She reached up and yanked the gag out roughly.

Kieran gasped, jaw aching, throat raw. He glared at her with absolute hatred. ”Release me,” he growled, voice rough but firm. ”Now.”

”Or what?” Heena asked sweetly.

”Or when I get free—and I will—you’ll regret every second of this.” His body betrayed him mid-threat, another orgasm hitting, and his jaw clenched against the humiliation. But his eyes never wavered. ”I swear it.”

Heena laughed and moved to Adrian, removing his gags. The duke gasped for air, golden eyes burning.

”This changes nothing,” Adrian said immediately, voice tight with barely controlled rage. ”You think this breaks us? All you’ve done is ensure we’ll never forgive you. Never.”

Heena, who heard Adrian’s words about forgiveness, burst into laughter. ”Forgive me? Oh, really?” Her voice dripped with mocking amusement. She walked over to Adrian and grabbed his hair roughly, yanking his head back so he was forced to look up at her. ”Then tell me, Duke—if I had not done this, would ’you’ have forgiven ’me’? You who plotted my murder? You who poisoned my wine?”

Adrian’s jaw clenched, golden eyes burning with hatred and humiliation. He said nothing, because they both knew the answer.

”That’s what I thought,” Heena said coldly. ”And anyway, I’m not committing any crime. You are my husbands, legally bound to me. I have every right to discipline you as I see fit.” She released his hair with a sharp push.

But even as she spoke with confidence, standing tall and imperious before them, internally Heena was troubled. There was one problem gnawing at her—something that didn’t make sense.

Even with such a powerful aphrodisiac, how could they still speak coherently? How could their minds remain this sharp?

She looked at their bodies—beyond tortured, covered in evidence of days of forced releases, trembling with exhaustion. But their eyes... their eyes were still calculating, still defiant, still ’thinking’. That shouldn’t be possible. With sixty drops of Lily Valley Apocalypse, they should be completely mindless, reduced to pure physical need with no higher cognitive function remaining.

The drug was working—she could see that clearly in their physical responses, in the way their bodies betrayed them constantly. But their minds should have been gone by now, shattered completely.

That was the real problem.

Suddenly, as if System 427 could hear her thoughts, he materialized beside her—invisible to everyone else, of course. Only Heena could see his small golden form floating near her shoulder.

”It’s because their auras are too powerful,” System 427 said quietly, his voice only in her mind. ”That’s why the drug doesn’t work on them as strongly as it should. Their protagonist halos are protecting their minds even while their bodies suffer.”

Heena kept her expression carefully neutral, not reacting to the system’s sudden appearance.

”And maybe,” he continued, ”it’s also because ’you’re’ the villainess. Right now they’re in ’your’ captivity, not the heroine’s. The story framework fights against this scenario. If they were in the heroine’s capture—if Lady Seraphina had somehow trapped them like this—they would have already lost complete control and ravaged her. And she would have forgiven them as her ’salvation,’ turning their loss of control into a romantic, fated moment.”

System 427 floated closer to Heena’s ear. ”But right now, it’s you who has captured them. The villainess. The story doesn’t want this dynamic, so it’s subtly protecting them. The drug works on them—you can see that clearly—but not completely. Not enough to break their minds. And look closely—their limbs are slowly starting to work again. Their bodies are adapting, fighting off the effects faster than they should be able to.”

He gestured with a tiny paw toward their restraints. ”If you weren’t torturing them this intensely, if you’d just left them alone with the drug, their hands and legs might have already started moving properly. In another day or two, they’ll have enough motor control to cause real problems.”

Heena’s eyes flickered almost imperceptibly as she processed this information. Of course. Protagonist armor didn’t just protect them from death—it protected them from complete defeat in any form. The story would bend reality itself to ensure its heroes retained enough agency to eventually triumph.
