Mr. CEO, You Look Strangely Familiar

The female model glanced around. ”A female gorilla?”

Elmer Grant pointed at her. ”The female... the female here...”

The model knew he was talking about her and was furious, but there was nothing she could do.

”President Grant, you were drunk. I was the one who helped you back to your room. You even stripped my clothes off.”

Quentin Grant didn’t even look at her again. ”Get out.”

”President Grant... you...”

”Oh, right. She told us to call Mommy. I think we really need to tell Mommy about this... Elmer... what do you think?”

Elmer Grant let out a dry laugh. ”This is such a trivial matter. How could we possibly bother Mommy with it? Your sons will handle it themselves. Right, Daddy?”

Quentin Grant agreed. ”Mm-hm. You can handle it however you want. Daddy will be waiting for you outside.”

He was in an absolutely terrible mood.

He stepped out the door and immediately saw the captain. ”Hm?”

The captain gave an embarrassed smile. ”Young Master, I was forced to come here by the two young masters.”

”If they forced you to go die, would you do that too?”

”I’ve long been one of your family’s men, Young Master. Even if I die, I’ll be your ghost.”

”Good! Very good.”

He looked at the captain. ”I’ll wait for you on the ground floor. Come down quickly.”

”Understood.”

Quentin Grant went down to the ground floor and walked up to the lobby manager. ”I want to know how that woman got into my room with me.”

”This... Young Master Grant, we don’t know either.”

”I won’t be responsible for the consequences of you not knowing... Has the event ended?”

”It just ended.”

Just as he turned to walk across the ground floor, there was a loud BANG!

Something crashed onto the ground right in front of Quentin Grant.

Quentin Grant looked up. The window on the eighth floor was open—the window of the presidential suite he had just left.

A few minutes later, the two boys came down with the captain.

The captain stood behind the two boys, trembling.

They followed him into the car.

The body of the dead model was quickly cleaned up. The lobby manager was scared half to death.

Quentin Grant’s car sped away.

「Back home.」

He turned on the television.

A news report was on about a woman who had died in front of the Seagull Hotel. The preliminary finding was suicide, with the specific circumstances still under investigation.

Quentin Grant leaned back on the sofa, looked at the two little ones opposite him, and asked, ”How did you handle it?”

Dylan Grant looked at him. ”Daddy, if Elmer and I had been a few steps later, you would have been done for. Didn’t you realize? I just splashed some water on you to wake you up, and when you did, there wasn’t a trace of drunkenness, just the faint smell of alcohol. You didn’t even know you’d been set up. Daddy, you’re not going to die of old age; you’re going to die of stupidity.”

Quentin Grant nodded. ”I admit, Daddy was careless.”

Elmer Grant sneered. ”Careless, Daddy? If Mommy finds out, she’ll definitely be disappointed in you, won’t she? Forget it. Seeing as we can’t rely on you, I think my brother and I should start looking for Mommy’s next husband.”

Hearing this, Quentin Grant’s face immediately darkened. ”Are you two still my sons?”

”We are if you say so, and we aren’t if you don’t. Daddy, we’re very angry. If we had been any later, maybe in a year, we’d have a new half-brother.”

”The person has already been dealt with by you two, so let’s drop the matter here.” He stood up. ”Remember, not a word of this when your mother gets back, unless you want her to worry all the time.”

Dylan Grant also stood up. ”We won’t say anything. But if there’s a next time, regardless of whether you fall into a trap or not, the one falling from that window will be you, Daddy.”

A chill ran down Quentin Grant’s spine. ”Are you planning to murder your own father?”

”We’re just reminding you to be extremely careful. If all else fails, take Monty with you wherever you go. That’ll be perfectly safe.”

”Daddy will heed his sons’ words. There absolutely won’t be a next time.”

The two boys nodded and went back to their room to sleep.

When Ethan Ellsworth got home that night, Chloe Marshall was still awake.

He walked over. ”It’s so late. Why aren’t you asleep yet?”

”Waiting for you.”

Ethan Ellsworth laughed. ”You know, Young Master Grant got a real shock from his two sons tonight.”

”Young Master Grant?” Chloe Marshall was surprised. ”What happened?”

”That guy was just telling me on the phone. Wasn’t today the fifty-second anniversary of the Grant Group? Someone slipped something into his drink, making him seem dead drunk as he was helped into a suite.”

Chloe Marshall blurted out, ”And then some woman with ulterior motives burst in?”

Ethan Ellsworth gave her a thumbs-up. ”Spoken like a true woman.”

Chloe Marshall asked anxiously, ”So, did Young Master Grant...?”

”Of course not! The two boys went over and woke him up. Then, he went downstairs, and just as he reached the ground floor, that model fell from above and died.”

Hearing this, Chloe Marshall sighed. ”She deserved it. I won’t sympathize with a woman like that, even if what she did wasn’t a crime punishable by death.”

Ethan Ellsworth nodded. ”I think Young Master Grant’s two little devils will grow up to be way more formidable than their dad. At such a young age...”

”With those two at home, Nora can be completely at ease. Forget the boys, if I had run into something like that, I’d have wanted to kill that woman myself.”

Ethan Ellsworth wrapped his arms around her. ”Don’t worry. Your husband would never let something like that happen.”

”Good.”

Ethan Ellsworth gave her a peck on the cheek. ”Honey, I heard that Young Master Grant and Nora have played role-playing games before. I want to try it with you... I wonder if you’d be up for it...”

”What do you want to play? Your wife will absolutely play along. If Nora and Young Master Grant can do it, we can’t fall behind.”

At her words, Ethan Ellsworth knelt on the bed and looked at her seriously. ”Let’s do *Journey to the West*.”

”Boss Ellsworth... have you actually read *Journey to the West*?”

”Of course!” ’He had no idea how many times he’d read it in private.’

”Okay, so who are you playing? The White Stallion?”

Ethan Ellsworth poked her on the forehead. ”The White Stallion barely has any lines. If I’m going to play someone, of course I’ll be the main character.”

”Then Monkey Sawyer?”

Ethan Ellsworth was about to die of anger. ”Of course I’m going to play someone who actually looks human.”

”Oh, I know! Pigsy!”

”Chloe Marshall!”

”Here!” She grinned. ”I get it. You want to be the Master, right?”

”Mmm...”

”Then what about me?”

”On the journey to the Western Heaven to retrieve the scriptures, you can pick any female character you want.”

Chloe Marshall was a little deflated. ”It’s either a demoness or a vixen. What’s there to choose from? Between the two, I guess I’ll be the vixen.”

Ethan Ellsworth nodded. ”Okay.”

He got out of bed, grabbed a long broom from by the door. Seeing this, Chloe Marshall asked, ”What are you doing?”

”It’s my weapon! I’m going to be a Master who uses a weapon!”

Chloe Marshall broke into a sweat. She cleared her throat. ”You’re a pretty badass Trevor Donovan. Okay, let’s begin.”

Ethan Ellsworth nodded and walked to the bedside. ”Amitabha. Fair maiden, this humble monk is Trevor Donovan, traveling from the Great Tang of the East to the Western Heaven to retrieve the sacred scriptures. As I am passing through, might you spare a bowl of water for me to drink?”

Chloe Marshall sat up and said with a beaming smile, ”Of course. Please come with me, Master.”

She held out her hand, looking at him.

”Your hands are truly beautiful, fair maiden.”

Chloe Marshall smiled shyly. ”How can you tease a humble girl like me, Master?”

”Amitabha. A monk does not lie. These are the most beautiful hands this humble monk has seen on his entire journey...”

”Since you like them so much, Master, how about I let you touch them?”

”Then... this humble monk... shall be impolite...”

Ethan Ellsworth reached out to touch her hand, and in a flash...

Chloe Marshall, playing the part of the vixen, immediately pulled him onto the bed.

”Fair maiden... you... you mustn’t...”

”Why ever not...”

”This humble monk does not indulge in the fairer sex... I can only touch hands... not grab breasts...”

Chloe Marshall sneered, grabbing his hand and placing it on her breast. ”This doesn’t count.”

Ethan Ellsworth put on a ”stay away” expression, reluctantly moving his hand from her chest. ”Please conduct yourself with dignity, fair maiden. Otherwise, don’t blame this humble monk for getting rough.”

”Then don’t be.”

”Take this!” He raised his hand and tossed the broom aside. ”Watch me catch a fox with my bare hands! You little vixen, this humble monk could tell at a glance that you want to eat my flesh!”

”Eating you... is doing you an honor... Would you rather I eat someone else?”

Ethan Ellsworth pinned her to the bed. ”How about this, little vixen? This humble monk has been all alone on his journey from the Great Tang of the East. How about we make a deal?”

”What is it?”

”I’ll let you off the hook. I know you’re one of Lord Lao’s people. In the end, he’s just going to show up and take you away anyway, so I can’t kill you. That’s just how the director wrote it—all the demons with connections get rescued, and all the ones without get beaten to death by me. So, you don’t eat my flesh, and I’ll... swallow my pride and make sure you have a very comfortable night. How about it?”

”Very well. This humble girl submits.”

Ethan Ellsworth grinned triumphantly. ”Little maiden, here I come!”

He ripped open Chloe Marshall’s clothes, and at the sight of her ample bosom, he immediately turned off the light. ”Mwah mwah mwah mwah mwah... so fragrant...”

The room was instantly filled with tenderness. Standing at the door, a dejected Dorothy Ellsworth walked back to her own room.

’Those two are getting more and more shameless in their old age. They’re corrupting me all day long, even making up their own *Journey to the West* role-play. They’ve completely ruined my wonderful childhood. Trevor Donovan... I want a bite of your flesh too... then I could live forever...’

She picked up her phone and pressed the first number on her contact list.

”Dylan, are you asleep?”

”Mmm, I was just about to. What’s up? Miss me, little maiden?”

Dorothy Ellsworth glanced at her phone and said unhappily, ”Why are you just like my daddy? My daddy calls my mommy ’little maiden’ too, and now you’re calling me that.”

”Then it’s the right thing to call you, isn’t it? Would you be okay if I called some other girl ’little maiden’?”

Dorothy Ellsworth instinctively shook her head, then realized he couldn’t see her. She said, ”Dylan, what should I do? I can’t sleep.”

”Mmm... you must be lovesick... It seems we need to grow up quickly, so we can be together forever.”

”Dylan, I don’t want to grow up. Adults have so many things to deal with. I want to be a little princess... your little princess, and Mommy and Daddy’s little princess...”
