The Yellow-Haired Villain in Soaring Phoenix's Novels Also Desires Happiness

Yes...

Yes.

Yes!

Liya’s helpless answer echoed through the girl-scented room.

But it didn’t just echo within the room; there was another place where it replayed like a valley’s returning call, cycling over and over with that firm, ringing sound—Ariel’s mind.

When that word spilled from Liya’s lips, it was like a bolt of lightning piercing the crown of Ariel’s head and striking the deepest part of her soul.

She shuddered, instantly straightened, and, as if to confirm it, swept her gaze around the room.

Through the thin white gauze canopy over the bed, the entire room lay revealed to her eyes.

To make sure it wasn’t a fleeting illusion or dream, her sharp gaze raked the surroundings again and again.

Wardrobe... desk... curtains...

Mm. Yes.

At this very moment, there were only... three people in this room.

Her.

Liya.

Senior Anna.

And among those familiar to Liya—excluding Senior Anna, whom she had said she’d only met once—there remained just one person.

That was... the one who had been Liya’s childhood friend for ten long years, who shared a deep bond with her... herself! Ariel Bugaard!

Which meant, according to Senior Anna’s string of questions, the person Liya liked...

was her!

In an instant, joy surfaced from the depths of Ariel’s heart. Her vision seemed to blur, as if flames were roaring all around—yet when she snapped back, there were no flames at all, only her own burning, feverish cheeks growing hotter and hotter.

The frog she’d been simmering for ten years—had it already awakened?

Could it be that her earlier hesitation had only made this moment arrive later than it should have?

For a moment, regret and excitement rushed into Ariel’s brain at once, and she went like a computer that had crashed, displaying the look of a program temporarily unable to respond.

“Ariel, you...”

Sensing Ariel’s abnormality, Liya whipped her head around. It was as if she finally confirmed something in that instant; her expression turned odd, and she hesitated to speak.

But Ariel, who “knew” everything, leapt to her feet, gave Liya no chance to speak, and, flustered and stammering, said:

“T-too... too sudden. Even though I expected it, it’s still too sudden. A-and... words like that should be said by me personally. If you say it, then it’s just too—”

“I... I’m going out to calm down first. Let’s stop here for tonight!”

“I had a great time—goodbye, good night!”

Before the words even finished, Ariel had blurred into an afterimage and shot out of the room.

She moved so fast that her from-street-end-to-street-end prowess was on full display. The other three people in the room hadn’t even reacted before she was already gone.

Liya’s slightly parted cherry lips, in the end, produced no words at all.

“Oh my, oh my—who would’ve thought something so amusing would happen? Ariel seems to have... misunderstood something.”

Propping her chin, Anna watched it all unfold—comprehending even faster than Liya—her expression gradually taking on the look of someone there just for the fun.

“So that junior... turns out she’s that kind of person. How rare.”

“I...”

Liya gave a wry smile.

“I didn’t think Ariel still had those kinds of feelings toward me. I... I always thought she was my best friend—my dearest girlfriend.”

“Girlfriends don’t usually get that excited—practically flying out of the room—after a ‘misunderstanding’ like that. So what now? You’re just going to let her keep misunderstanding you?”

Liya thought for a moment, then shook her head.

“If I try to explain now, she’ll definitely think I’m just shy and trying to cover it up. Better to wait until she’s calmed down before talking. I just hope she won’t end up hating me then.”

“Oh? When it comes to matters of the heart, you’re more experienced than I imagined.”

Anna’s beautiful eyes narrowed slightly.

“So I really did underestimate you before.”

“Hmph.”

Liya puffed her cheeks, temporarily setting aside Ariel’s issue. She pretended to glare fiercely at Anna.

“I’m not that clueless little girl anymore. Look down on people and you might just trip, Senior Anna.”

“Indeed. It looks like that scoundrel has trained you quite well.”

Anna gave a soft laugh, her fingers tracing lightly across the bed’s surface. Then, turning toward Liya—but somehow as if speaking to someone else in the room—she said casually,

“So, now that we’ve talked this far, is a certain someone still planning to keep hiding like a little turtle?”

“......”

The air fell silent.

Liya opened her mouth, then closed it again, puffing out her cheeks, sulking about something unspoken.

And in that silence—

A certain golden-haired pig slowly poked his head out from under the bed, forcing a sheepish grin toward Anna, whose face showed not a hint of surprise or warmth.

“Good evening, Senior. What a coincidence—did you drop by for a late-night visit too?”

“Yes, what a coincidence indeed, Mr. Muen.”

Resting her chin on one hand, Anna’s narrow eyes curved into two crescent moons, the beauty mark at the corner glinting even more temptingly.

“So, care to explain? As an adult man, why are you here—under the Saintess’s bed, in her room, at this hour? It doesn’t exactly seem like an official appointment time, does it?”

“I...”

“Don’t even think about bluffing your way out.”

Anna extended one long leg clad in black stockings and drew lazy circles on Muen’s chest with her toe.

“It’s not just me watching, you know. Her Highness the Saintess is watching too.”

“......”

Muen glanced sideways at Liya out of the corner of his eye. Although she didn’t say a word, her gaze remained fixed tightly on him. Her hands clutched the hem of her skirt, filled with expectation, yet also nervous.

Muen’s shoulders slumped, the breath pressed in his chest all leaking out. He had thought of so many things to say, but now none of them could leave his mouth. He could only smile bitterly.

“There’s nothing to say. It’s exactly as Senior saw, and exactly as you’re thinking.”

“You’ve been unfaithful?”

“I’ve been unfaithful.”

“You won’t even try to defend yourself?”

“I won’t.”

Muen shook his head. “It’s the truth.”

“It sounds like a very responsible statement... but what a pity, you’re still a scumbag.”

From above, Anna looked down on him. From Muen’s point of view, he could see her long legs wrapped in black stockings, see her flawless body under the knit sweater, and see her mischievous, witch-like, unreadable face. It was the same familiar look, familiar warmth, familiar scent.

“Tsk tsk, it’s only been a little over a month, and my dear junior already brought home another little green-tea girl. Tsk tsk, at this rate, in just a few years, I’m afraid your family’s estate won’t even be big enough to hold all your lovers.”

The tip of her black-stocked foot teasingly lifted Muen’s chin, forcing his gaze to meet hers.

“So, tell me—what should I do about you, junior?”

It was that same devilish, wicked smile.

“She’s... she’s not a little green tea girl!”

At the side, Liya puffed her cheeks, speaking in a huff.

“We love each other.”

“...Yes. No one deliberately seduced anyone. We love each other.”

Muen looked straight into Anna’s eyes and answered seriously.

“What about me?”

Anna asked, “You said those exact same words before, didn’t you?”

“That’s right.”

Muen grabbed Anna’s small foot, sliding upward as he slowly stood, until their eyes were level.

“I love you too, Senior Anna. In the past, now, and in the future. That will never change.”

“......”

In her gemlike eyes, those deep blue pupils were reflected back. From within them, there was no trace of falsehood or deceit.

Muen slowly leaned closer, wrapped his arms around her waist, and held her small hand. Her appearance, her warmth, her scent—all of it was so familiar to him. And wasn’t it the same for her? Perhaps even more so—her attachment ran deeper.

Light and shadow flickered faintly between them, and finally melted into a long sigh full of helplessness.

“Honestly... I can never do anything about you, my scumbag junior.”

“I’m a scumbag. Didn’t you already know that, my senior?” Muen curved a faint, handsome smile.

“...Yes, I already knew.”

Back when he came to her wearing the title of a princess’s fiancé, offering her salvation, she had already known what kind of person he was. But still—she hadn’t been able to stop herself from taking his hand.

Because it had been so warm.

Even she, who had never liked competing with anyone, had found herself dragged into a fight after a certain “legitimate fiancée’s” provocation—trying to kick that proud, haughty princess off her pedestal.

In the end, it was all because of this bad man.

“You can’t do this again from now on, okay?”

Anna embraced the lover she couldn’t bring herself to truly blame.

“I don’t want to go through all the trouble of kicking that princess out of your mansion only to turn around and find you’ve brought home a whole estate full of little sisters.”

“......”

Muen’s lips twitched. For a moment, he didn’t even know what to say, so he simply pulled Anna closer by her slender waist, brushing a hand through her smooth, silky hair.

“Don’t worry. It’s not like I fall for every woman I meet. In some ways, I’m actually pretty ‘devoted.’”

“Fufu, that thick-skinned face of yours is exactly what I like about you, junior.”

Anna suddenly pressed her whole body against his chest, forehead brushing his, their noses lightly touching as they exchanged sweet, quickening breaths. Her words came in a teasing whisper:

“But... a junior who’s done something bad still has to be punished~”

“P-punished?”

Muen swallowed hard. “What kind of punishment?”

Anna didn’t answer. Instead, she asked softly,

“It’s been a little over a month, and it seems you’ve grown stronger again?”

“I guess I’ve gotten a little stronger.”

Muen spoke modestly. “Just a little bit.”

“That’s good. I’ve gotten a little stronger too.”

Suddenly, as Muen gazed into Anna’s eyes, he sensed a change.

It was as if a hazy mist had spread through her clear pupils, staining everything in a deep shade of night.

And when the darkness cleared, Muen suddenly realized—Anna’s pupils had contracted, turning into inhuman vertical slits.

At the same time, a chill ran across the back of his hand.

When he looked down, he saw what had replaced the black-stockinged leg emerging from beneath her skirt—

“Sn... snake—snake!”

Seeing that serpent’s tail, Liya’s beautiful eyes widened, her teeth chattered, and she let out a startled cry.

“Looks like you didn’t know, Liya junior.”

Anna’s serpent tail coiled around Muen’s neck as she gave a soft laugh.

“This man who swears he’s ‘in love’ with you is even more of a pervert than you think.”

“N-no... it’s not that bad.”

Muen wiped the sweat from his forehead.

“I’m not that much of a pervert.”

“Really?”

Anna blinked in mock confusion.

“But didn’t you say yourself that you could even a snake when you were being perverted? Compared to back then, I’m not nearly as terrifying now, am I?”

Indeed.

Muen silently agreed.

That night, Anna’s transformation hadn’t stopped at her lower half turning into a snake’s tail—her entire body had been covered in fine, hard scales, her features radiating far more of a monster’s than a woman’s.

A normal person would have been terrified just seeing her, let alone found her beautiful.

But now...

Anna’s serpentine tail swayed, while her upper body remained that of a flawless woman. Calling her a beguiling serpent-woman who could steal souls was no exaggeration.

Still—

“No... I think you’re misunderstanding something...” Muen protested sternly.

“I’m not that kind of—”

“Don’t like it?”

“......”

“Hehe...”

Anna’s lips curved. The tip of her serpent tail happily teased at Muen’s waist.

“Still as honest as ever. I’ll have to punish you properly then. It’s been more than a month since we last met—if you can’t satisfy me...”

As the tail slid across his waist, Muen felt a sharp chill shoot through his kidneys.

“Wait, wait!”

Just then, Liya—finally shaken free from her shock at seeing Anna’s lower half turn into a serpent—stepped forward.

She gathered her courage, as if unable to allow the one she loved to be hurt like this, and bit down hard before speaking:

“You can’t—mmph!”

But before the words were even finished, Anna moved with sharp precision, sending a thin streak of magic under the girl’s skirt.

A certain little toy, left there earlier, was suddenly driven to its highest output. In an instant, the pleasure that had been building and suppressed all day surged through Her Highness the Saintess like an electric current.

Before the Saintess could even protect her knight, her eyes rolled back under the witch’s wicked sorcery; her delicate body trembled and arched, carried away to that exquisite clouded peak.

“...Holy—shit...”

Muen stared in shock at the scene before him. No way... Saintess, are you really this weak? At least put up a little resistance!

But before he could say anything, Anna, right in front of Liya, seized his head and turned it firmly back toward her, forcing him to look at her—and only her.

“Don’t get distracted,” she whispered with a wicked smile. “The punishment starts now.”

Anna’s pale hands traced lightly across Muen’s chest, deft and deliberate. His shirt fell open under her touch. She leaned in close, her breath warm against his skin, the movement predatory and sure—less like a woman’s affection and more like a serpent’s silent claim.

Muen froze. The sensation that followed wasn’t a simple caress; it carried that same uncanny chill that came whenever Anna’s power bled through her body—reminding him again that the woman before him was no longer fully human.

Her eyes gleamed, half-human, half-beast. “Focus, my junior,” she murmured, voice low and dangerous. “You’re the one who said you could handle monsters, remember?”

Her movements were fluid—too fluid, too inhumanly supple. Then she paused.

Tilting her head back, Anna looked up with an expression of innocent curiosity, her eyes wide and gleaming as though she were a naive girl rather than the serpent-woman she had become.

“Darling,” she asked softly, “do you know the difference between a snake and a human?”

“Di... difference? What—what difference?”

Muen’s mouth opened and closed, his mind seeming to stall completely.

“The other differences can wait,” Anna said softly. She raised a finger and traced it from her smooth chin slowly downward, stopping at her throat.

Her tongue flicked against her lips like a serpent’s as she let out a light laugh.

“A snake’s swallowing function is completely different from a human’s. The human body simply isn’t built to keep swallowing something continuously... but a snake can.”

Muen’s eyes widened.

Anna lowered her head slowly, moving with the silent precision of a serpent closing in on its prey.

“—Sss.”

The hiss of her breath slid against Muen’s skin, and every muscle in his body tensed. A rush of heat, dizziness, and confusion flooded his senses, as though he had been pulled into something suffocatingly close and impossibly warm.

Anna’s voice curled at his ear, low and amused. “See? Snakes always prove their point better through experience.”

It felt as if his very soul was about to fly away.

“No... no, stop!”

At that moment, Liya finally came to her senses. Forcing herself upright, she lunged forward like a starving tiger pouncing on its prey and threw her arms tightly around Muen.

“I can’t let you bully Muen all by yourself...”

As she said that, she leaned in and kissed Muen on her own initiative.

In that instant, Muen’s soul didn’t just take off—it spun midair in a full Thomas flair.

Now there were two warm caves.

And after this, there would be more.

A serpent-like tongue trailed along Muen’s neck and chest, then continued downward across the firm lines of his body, tracing every contour with deliberate slowness.

Her hand moved softly downward until it reached his core. With that faint touch, the long-suppressed tension burst free so suddenly that Anna froze for a moment in startled shock.

Anna stared for a moment at the throbbing strength before her, momentarily stunned. Then the corner of her mouth curved upward; her gaze lifted, sultry and teasing, looking up at Muen from below.

“Oh my, junior, you’re quite energetic.”

“Heh, that’s because Senior is too amazing,” Muen replied with a foolish grin.

“Hehe, the best part is still to come.”

Anna brushed aside a strand of hair that had fallen across her forehead. With a slow twist of her waist, she bent forward, her lips hovering for an instant in a gesture both intimate and suggestive before closing the remaining distance with a gentle touch.

The surge came again, drawing a soft laugh from Anna. Her teasing touch followed, light and deliberate, tracing his shape with languid precision as if savoring every reaction.

Her movements were extraordinarily deft and precise, every motion filled with a teasing grace unlike any human touch. Muen felt an almost unbearable sensitivity, as if every part of him were being completely, carefully tended to.

But this was only a prelude. After a brief pause, Anna lowered her head again. Her lips parted further as she leaned closer, taking him in with slow, deliberate movement.

A sharp breath escaped him.

Muen tilted his head back, a low, satisfied sound escaping his throat. It felt as if he had been pulled into a world of warmth and dizzying pleasure—something beyond paradise itself. Anna did not rush, moving with deliberate slowness, savoring every sensation as if tasting something exquisite. The faint sound of her motion echoed softly in the quiet room.

Anna moved rhythmically, every motion deliberate and mesmerizing. A faint shimmer caught the edge of her lips as she continued, and Muen, lost in the overwhelming sensation, felt a sudden surge he struggled to restrain. His breathing grew unsteady; his broad hand brushed against Anna’s flushed cheek, then through her hair. Their eyes met—and the look she gave him was enough to steal the rest of his breath.

“Haa...”

After hesitating for a moment, Anna finally lifted her head, exhaling a faintly fish-scented sweet breath, letting her breathing adjust to the rhythm.

Anna lowered her head again, but instead of continuing as before, she shifted slightly, moving with deliberate care. Her gestures became slower and more controlled, filled with a subtle, teasing rhythm rather than open intensity. The atmosphere thickened, her movements carrying both curiosity and mastery, a mix of tenderness and danger that made the moment feel suspended between temptation and restraint.

From the lowest point to the highest.

From the left side to the right.

Until the entire dragon—both its head and its body—was already glistening bright.

Anna finally smiled faintly, her expression soft and knowing. She leaned forward once more, her movements fluid and deliberate, the earlier tension melting into a rhythm that carried both playfulness and control.

This time, she didn’t stop at the hesitant teasing from before, but continued with deeper, more deliberate motion, her actions steady and unhurried.

But instead, she went deeper—

bit by bit.

Like a serpent slowly claiming its prey, Anna moved with deliberate grace, drawing what she desired closer, a little at a time, until her control over the moment was absolute.

Muen watched as the image before him gradually sank into the warmth she offered, disappearing little by little between her lips, the air around them thick with heat and tension.

The intensity between them reached its peak — the contrast of power and softness, of tension and desire, drove the feverish moment to another height, blurring the line between control and surrender.

Liya still hadn’t completely come back to herself after the long rush of sensations that had built up through the day. Her dazed eyes lingered on Anna’s movements, curiosity and awe mixing within her. It was something she had read about but never truly imagined. Fascination soon tangled with a strange, rising heat that she couldn’t quite suppress. Feeling her body still restless and warm, she pressed a trembling hand against her chest, whispering softly, “S-Senior...”

Muen gently placed his hand on Senior Anna’s head, his touch careful and restrained, afraid of hurting her. Yet even with that tentative gentleness, Anna didn’t stop; her movements continued with steady determination, ❀ Nоvеlігht ❀ (Don’t copy, read here) filled with silent focus.

At that moment, Muen finally understood what Senior Anna had meant earlier about the difference between a human and a serpent.

The human body’s instinct is to resist when something presses too deep into the throat — a reflex to expel what shouldn’t be there. Serpents, however, lack that limit. Their bodies are made to take in prey far larger than themselves, their structure allowing them to swallow without end.

Now it was like that. Muen finally understood the comparison—Anna’s movements smooth, unbroken, almost unnatural in their precision—until she had taken in everything without pause, her closeness leaving him breathless.

It was a depth Anna had never reached before. Yet she showed no sign of discomfort—only calm, steady rhythm. Muen felt the pressure close around him, a warmth that seemed to draw him in completely, every motion deliberate, every breath tightening the air between them. The sensation was overwhelming, a blend of closeness and control that made him whisper, breathless, “Hah... Senior...”

Muen could no longer restrain himself. The tension that had been building finally broke, and the room filled with heavy, uneven breaths. Anna lifted her head slightly, her movements composed yet unhurried, her flushed cheeks and half-smile carrying both exhaustion and teasing charm.

“The taste... not bad,” she murmured softly, her tone light but edged with that familiar mischief.
