Tycoon: I Have an Unlimited Modifier

”Mr. Qi, this is the only fully-loaded A8 we currently have in our showroom.

The 55 TFSI quattro Prestige model, with a 3.0T V6 engine.

Maximum output of 340 horsepower.

It’s fully loaded with every option, including heating, massage, and full adjustment for every seat.

It’s absolutely the best choice for an executive-class sedan!”

The saleswoman followed Qi Sheng’s gaze and enthusiastically introduced the showroom’s crown jewel.

”Can I sit inside and get a feel for it?”

Qi Sheng gave a slight nod and made a small request.

”Of course. Right this way, please.”

The saleswoman hesitated for less than two seconds before breaking into a wide smile and leading the way.

When they reached the A8, the saleswoman took the initiative to open the car door for Qi Sheng.

She let him experience the pleasure of the rear executive seat first.

Thanks to the car’s 5.3-meter length, the rear passenger space was incredibly generous.

There was more than enough room to cross your legs.

The high center tunnel in the back fully accentuated the car’s prestige as a top-tier executive vehicle.

Though it wasn’t very comfortable for anyone sitting in the middle.

The array of controls on the rear center armrest was almost bewildering.

The saleswoman’s explanation of them alone took a good while.

Up front, the interior style was clean and minimalist, packed with a high-tech feel.

It was a combination of genuine leather, wood grain accents, brushed metal, and piano black panels.

Elegant, yet undeniably luxurious.

A four-spoke steering wheel, paddle shifters, and a speedometer that went up to 300.

Overtaking other cars would be a breeze.

’If I hadn’t modified my monthly income, and if the system hadn’t let me withdraw my entire year’s income in advance... even with a million times the courage, I wouldn’t have dared to even look at a luxury car of this caliber.’

’But now, it’s mine!’

”It’s great. Can I just pay by card and take it now?”

Qi Sheng got out of the car and asked the saleswoman.

”Uh... yes, you can. But don’t you want to take it for a test drive?”

The saleswoman’s mouth felt a little dry. Suppressing her excitement, she asked again.

”No need. The test drive car isn’t the fully-loaded model anyway. Just go calculate the final price, get all the paperwork sorted out, and arrange a temporary plate for me. I’m in a hurry to get going.”

”Of course. If you and your friend could please wait in the lounge area, I’ll have everything ready shortly.”

The saleswoman called a colleague over to serve them tea before hurrying off to prepare the contract.

”Brother Sheng, you’re really buying it, just like that?”

Still feeling a bit dazed, Wu Peng asked in a hushed whisper.

’This is a luxury car worth over a million!’

’Shouldn’t you think it over and over before paying?’

”Relax. It’s just a car. The most important thing is to be happy.”

Qi Sheng smiled and waved dismissively, feigning nonchalance as he sipped his tea to quell his own inner excitement.

’To be honest, I’m not much calmer than Wu Peng.’

’In my past life, I only ever dared to dream about picking up girls in a luxury car.’

’But in this life, my future is destined to be so much more!’

In less than an hour and a half, all the paperwork was done.

After all, they were only issuing a temporary plate, so the process wasn’t complicated.

The gas tank was full, and the dealership had even prepared a small delivery ceremony.

Qi Sheng pulled the black covering off the car.

Surrounded by bouquets of fresh flowers and balloons, he officially became the proud owner of an Audi A8!

”VROOM~”

He tapped the accelerator, and the six-cylinder engine responded instantly.

’I wouldn’t say it could smoke anything on the road, but I’d have absolute confidence when overtaking.’

Sitting in the passenger seat, Wu Peng was gradually coming to terms with the fact that his roommate had struck it rich.

He was happy for him, though, and maybe just a little envious.

’Now that my bro is doing well, there’s no way he’ll forget about us.’

...

「Riverfront Tower.」

Many residents of Jia City would often come here for a stroll to enjoy the beautiful riverside scenery.

Lü Tong and the three others with him had already been waiting for nearly two hours.

They had called Qi Sheng and Wu Peng, but the two just acted mysterious, saying only that they had a surprise in store for when they met.

”Over here!”

After what felt like an eternity, they finally spotted Qi Sheng and Wu Peng.

The four of them were beyond excited.

Damn it, they’d been skipping stones to kill time until their shoulders were sore.

”What took you guys so long?”

Wu Peng, playing his part as the hype man, answered for Qi Sheng.

”Hehe, Brother Sheng bought a car. We just came from the Audi dealership. He picked up an A8 on the spot—the fully-loaded model. Came out to 1.3 million, all in.”

If Qi Sheng had said it himself, it would’ve sounded a bit like he was bragging.

Wu Peng had been bottling this up the whole ride over. Finally, it was his turn to watch the others’ jaws drop.

”HOLY FUCKING SHIT!”

The group of friends was completely dumbfounded.

’How long has it been? And he’s already bought a 1.3 million car?’

It was... fucking insane!

”So, are we going to eat now?”

Without anyone realizing it, Qi Sheng had become the center of attention.

Even Lü Tong found himself instinctively asking for Qi Sheng’s opinion.

’Tsk, so this is the power of money!’

Qi Sheng smiled and nodded. ”Sure. Brother Tong organized this, so I won’t steal his thunder. When you guys get a chance to visit Qi City, I’ll take care of everything.”

”Sounds good. Let’s head to the villas first. I booked two of them, so we can eat, stay, and hang out there for the day.”

Lü Tong relaxed, relieved that Qi Sheng had agreed.

When they got to the parking lot, it was quite a ’coincidence’.

Qi Sheng’s A8 was parked right next to Lü Tong’s E300.

In terms of both presence and sheer class, the two cars weren’t even in the same league.

”I want to ride in the A8!”

”Screw you, go ride in the E300.”

”Fuck you! Who’d be stupid enough to pass up a ride in a million-plus car?”

In the end, Lü Tong could only look reproachfully at his roommates.

Only Wu Peng was shooed over to his car by the other three.

Their excuse was that Wu Peng already got to ride in it on the way over, so now it was their turn to enjoy it.

”Hey, Brother Tong, don’t feel bad. You should just use Brother Sheng’s A8 as the lead car for your wedding.”

”A 1.3 million luxury car has way more prestige than that BMW 730 you guys originally booked, right?”

Sitting in the Mercedes, Wu Peng tried to console Lü Tong with a suggestion.

”Hey, that’s not a bad idea, actually.”

Lü Tong’s eyes lit up; he was genuinely tempted.

’You only get married once in your life. Of course you want every detail to be perfect.’

’Since my own roommate has a luxury car, lending it as the lead car shouldn’t be a big deal.’

They arrived at a villa complex on the outskirts of the city.

The two cars parked side-by-side in the parking area outside.

The six of them got out of the cars, grabbed their bags, and continued to rave about Qi Sheng’s absurdly luxurious A8.

”Great Saint, I was hoping to use your car as the lead car for my wedding. Would that be okay with you?”

Lü Tong walked up to Qi Sheng and asked, looking a little embarrassed.

After all, it was a brand-new car he had just bought. It would be perfectly normal if he had reservations about it.

”What’s the problem? We’re brothers, you don’t have to be so formal.”

Qi Sheng readily agreed without the slightest hesitation.

”Thanks, bro!”

Lü Tong clapped Qi Sheng on the shoulder, touched by the gesture and committing the feeling to memory.

’He was incredibly lucky to have such a good brother!’
