Urban All-Round Master

”What are you afraid of? With Huahua supporting you, even if you’re scared, I’m still here behind you. Besides, isn’t the Bright Church really backing our Holy Hall right now? We’re going to get back our Uncle Beast, not to fight. Why be afraid? Maybe they’ll return our Uncle Beast just because of all our efforts. Tangtang, I know what you’re worried about inside.

But if we don’t do anything, how will we ever know if we’ll succeed or not? Right? So, leave it to me, Huahua. I’ll make sure everything is handled beautifully. Even if your Mother Empress finds out we’ve sneaked Big Bear and Little Bear away, don’t worry, I’ll face it with you. At most, we’ll just get scolded by her—it’s not like we’ll die or lose any flesh. Our goal is simple: to rescue Uncle Beast, hehe.”

”You say that, but... you’re not me. How could you know what I’m feeling inside?” Tangtang lowered her head in grievance, her chin touching her chest as she murmured in a voice only she could hear, too soft for even a fly to catch. She had her own struggles and frustrations that no one else could understand.

”Tangtang, what are you mumbling?” Huahua raised her cute eyebrows, unable to catch what was said.

”N-nothing.” Tangtang shook her head, muttering, ”We’re almost there. I hope my Mother Empress doesn’t find out.”

......

Soon after the helicopter landed, within just a few hours, Tangtang successfully tricked Big Bear and Little Bear to leave. Before coming, they had already arranged for three helicopters from the Holy Hall: two for transporting Big Bear and Little Bear, and one they themselves would take. In this way, stealthily and unnoticed, they managed to whisk Big Bear and Little Bear away.

Since Tangtang had a unique bond with Big Bear and Little Bear from a young age, they would only listen to her. Luring them away was easy, and then they started planning their grand scheme together.

A day later, they returned successfully, again stealthily placing Big Bear and Little Bear safely. Finally, they finished all their tasks.

Although they had done everything seamlessly, Nangong Bing still noticed something was up. Luckily, Nangong Bing wasn’t aware of Big Bear and Little Bear’s transport. If she knew, she would definitely expose their plans.

”What have you two been up to these past few days?” Upon getting home, Nangong Bing was already waiting in the villa for something.

Hand in hand, Huahua and Tangtang entered the house, and Nangong Bing immediately caught them. Tangtang’s face turned pale with fear, not knowing what to say.

Fortunately, Huahua was quick-witted. She gently shook Tangtang’s hand, preventing her from blurting out anything. Otherwise, with Tangtang’s level of intelligence, she would surely falter under Nangong Bing’s sharp questions.

”N-no, nothing. Tangtang and I just felt too cooped up at home, so we went out to relax. That’s why we haven’t been home these days, hehe. Cousin, just focus on taking care of yourself at home; you don’t need to worry about us. Besides, Tangtang and I are grown-ups; we know how to take care of ourselves. You, on the other hand, should focus on a proper rest, so you can give birth to a chubby little one. Uncle Beast will surely love it when he comes home.”

Huahua quickly came up with an excuse, smiling as she held Nangong Bing’s arm appeasingly, ”Cousin, you say you keep staying indoors every day. Why don’t you go out and walk more?”

”Walk? Where would I walk to?” Nangong Bing smiled gently, dotingly patting Huahua on the head, ”Isn’t your cousin focusing on resting right now? The Holy Hall isn’t that calm these days. If I go out, aren’t you worried someone might harm your cousin?”

”Hehe, how could that happen? The Holy Hall’s reach is vast, and this villa is guarded with countless bodyguards that even a fly would struggle to get in.” Huahua laughed, ”Hmm, tell you what, in a few days, I’ll give you a huge surprise that you’ll definitely love.”

”Oh? A surprise? What kind of surprise?” Nangong Bing was taken aback. Could she really surprise her? What kind of surprise could it be? Nangong Bing couldn’t imagine.

”Hehe, the surprise is that I...”

”Well, the surprise is that we’ll perform a wonderful show for Sister Nangong.” Tangtang quickly interjected, afraid that Huahua might spill the beans and ruin all their efforts with just one sentence.

”Oh? A surprise show? What kind of surprise show?” Nangong Bing laughed, curious about what kind of surprise show they were preparing for her.

”Hehe, we can’t tell Sister Nangong yet. We’ll let you know once we’re ready.” The little girl giggled.

”Yeah, yeah, we’ll tell you when we’re ready, Cousin. It’ll be a big surprise.” Huahua felt uneasy inside. If Tangtang hadn’t reminded her at the crucial moment, she might’ve accidentally let it slip.

The surprise they were planning was taking Lin Zifeng from the Western Bright Sect, a huge surprise for them indeed.

”Alright, I’ll be eager to see what kind of surprise you two are preparing for me.” Nangong Bing smiled gently.

”Okay, okay, Cousin, you’re pregnant now. Go get some rest. If you don’t prepare well, the baby might not be happy. We want to see a healthy and adorable little one,” Huahua supported Nangong Bing’s arm, giggling.

”Alright, alright, I’ll listen to you.” Reluctantly, Nangong Bing gave them a playful side-eye before returning to her bedroom.

”Hehe, Tangtang, you’re so clever. I almost let it slip just now.”

”Hmph, I knew you were in too much of a hurry. We can’t rush this trip to the Western Bright Church. It’s a big deal. If we tell Sister Nangong, she certainly won’t agree. She might even have us locked up, let alone allow us to go to the Western Bright Church.”

Tangtang blinked her eyes mischievously, smiling sweetly.

”Let’s go check on Big Bear and Little Bear. We’ll be preparing to head to the Western side to get Uncle Beast back.” Huahua suggested with a smile.

”Yeah, yeah, we have to bring Uncle Beast back.”

Tangtang’s heart was determined. This was their only way. Whether they succeed or not.
