Urban All-Round Master

Early morning... Jia Zhenjing led many experts from South Heavenly Gate to gather at Jiuhuang Mountain, marking the inevitable destruction of Jiuhuang Sect today!

On this day, the news of Jiuhuang Sect being wiped out in Jiangzhou by South Heavenly Gate spread like wildfire, and almost all major sects across Huaxia were aware of this significant event.

Although Jiuhuang Sect couldn’t be considered a major sect, it had gained a reputation in Jiangzhou and was a substantial sect that had stood for many years.

The big event blew like a strong wind, and all major forces were stirred at the first moment.

The key is Jiuhuang Sect was also involved in the battle against the Heavenly Punishment Alliance back then. So, many speculated this was South Heavenly Gate’s act of revenge.

Of course, whether it was revenge or not, Lin Zifeng understood it better than anyone else.

On that day, with Jiuhuang Sect being obliterated, Jiangzhou’s Divine Arrow Sect also couldn’t escape the nightmare; both major sects were wiped out by South Heavenly Gate in a single day!

Led by people like Jia Zhenjing and Blazing Angel, Hidden Kill, and Ming Zhan sortie caused quite a stir in Jiangzhou.

Then, the next day, after a top-level discussion at Huayu Group, Liu Ruyan personally led the sub-company to buy out a large group in Jiangzhou, sealing the deal in just two days.

This was completely unexpected by everyone; Huayu Group’s swift actions were truly astonishing.

Even Lin Zifeng was caught off guard, but Liu Ruyan, the person involved, smiled and told him that even before he went to Yanjing, Liu Ruyan and Zhang Mengjie had already discussed about Jiangzhou. It was merely that the agreement had been dragged on without being signed...

On the day the new sub-group opened, Lin Zifeng drove a supercar by himself to Jiangzhou Huayu Group. Liu Ruyan was sitting in the president’s office of the top level at Huayu Group, exceedingly carefree.

”Wow, being the president makes you different indeed; even your aura has changed quite a bit.” Lin Zifeng smiled as he walked into the office, scanning the office environment slightly. It must be said, this spendthrift queen’s requirements for her office truly had a unique effect.

”Wow, the VIP has arrived. How should I, a little lady, greet you?” Liu Ruyan was busy reviewing documents. Seeing Lin Zifeng walk in, her pretty face quickly broke into a broad smile.

”Hehe, even if the new company is opening, no matter how busy we are, we can’t delay things over here.” Lin Zifeng said with a smile.

”By the way, do you know what route the new company is taking?” Lin Zifeng knew that Tianyu Group initially took a tech route, dealing with things like digital technology.

Over in Yanjing, Huayu Group took the entertainment route. But concerning Jiangzhou, Lin Zifeng wasn’t so clear. After all, he had promised to let Liu Ruyan handle it herself.

”Pharmaceuticals.”

Liu Ruyan handed Lin Zifeng a document she had already reviewed on the office desk.

He glanced at it casually, seeing clear registration from the Bureau of Industry and Commerce and something from the Drug Administration. All sorts of things confused Lin Zifeng.

The general direction should be towards the medical field.

”Are you planning to go in the medical direction?” Lin Zifeng furrowed his brows slightly. He wasn’t very knowledgeable in this area and didn’t know how he could assist Liu Ruyan.

”Yes. Nowadays, people have improved their quality of life, but their health has declined. Many have spent decades sitting in offices, rarely getting out to exercise, combined with long nights staying up. I reckon if Huayu Group does well in the medical field, we’ll make a lot of money!”

”Whether or not we make money is no matter, but may I say something?” Lin Zifeng chuckled.

”Go ahead, is there anything we can’t talk about?” Liu Ruyan was surprised.

Lin Zifeng nodded satisfactorily.

In today’s era, entertainment, dining, and healthcare are promising industries that can make a lot of money. As long as we ignite these industries, we’ll surely earn big bucks. But Lin Zifeng was not after making money; he wanted a conscience!

”No matter whether we earn money or manage the company well, I hope we can act with conscience in healthcare. A patient—a person who entrusts their life to medical care—must endure not only the pain of disease but also the pressure from family. It’s well-known that as soon as a family member becomes ill, a perfect family loses its harmony.

It’s possible that the medical challenges and financial burden will impact families heavily, so my point is...”

”I understand. I understand it all.” Liu Ruyan nodded, eyes full of emotion. Speaking of patients, Liu Ruyan felt equally sad.

Once upon a time, she had a sister who suffered from a severe illness, which remained untreated. Her sister left the world unwillingly.

From that day forth, Liu Ruyan vowed to engage in the medical field to reduce the pain she once felt...

”Alright, I’ve said what I needed to say.”

”Are you leaving so soon?”

Seeing Lin Zifeng showing signs of leaving, Liu Ruyan leapt forward, spread her arms to block Lin Zifeng’s path.

”Unless you want to keep me for dinner?” Lin Zifeng glanced at her with a half-smile, slightly annoyed: ”Well, well. The new company will certainly be huge. You should concentrate on your work first. Don’t let my affairs impede you. It’s your dream and our Huayu Group’s hope.”

Lin Zifeng intentionally raised his voice, mouth forming an O-shape.

”Busy as you might be, it won’t matter for the moment. Besides, what am I busy with? The new company’s just opened; we haven’t even gathered a proper team. Why don’t you stay today and have a drink with me while discussing the synthesis plan for the new drugs?”

”New drugs? What’s that thing?” Lin Zifeng paused. He never considered anything about new drugs.

”Tonight I have two friends I’d like you to meet. You can’t just leave like that. It wasn’t easy to bring them together.”

”Friends? What friends?” Lin Zifeng squinted his eyes slightly. Given Liu Ruyan, she should not have any reason to deceive him.

”You’ll know them when you meet them. Here’s a little mystery for you.” Liu Ruyan’s hands were behind her back, appearing mysterious.

Lin Zifeng touched the tip of his nose helplessly and nodded, smiling bitterly: ”Alright, I’ll go back this evening. I have some free time in the afternoon but don’t know who the friends you want me to meet will be.”

”You’ll naturally know them when you meet them.” Liu Ruyan continued to hold back her laughter, unwilling to reveal the mystery too soon. That would devoid it of suspense.
