Urban All-Round Master

Capítulo 1363: Chapter 1397: The Tragedy in the Mall

“Teng! Don’t scare me like that!” The tall, skinny young man turned pale with fright.

If anything were to happen to Shangguan Teng, the Shangguan Family would surely take it out on him, and by then it would be hard to explain even if he had a mouth full of words.

“G-g-give it to me!”

At this moment, Shangguan Teng’s face was flushed red, that strange feeling down there, though not painful, the sensation of being kicked in the balls was truly unbearable, to the point where he couldn’t even speak.

“Teng, what do you want?”

The young man looked upset and troubled, seeing Shangguan Teng’s painful expression, he found it hard to understand what it meant.

“Get lost! Hurry up and catch that bitch for me!”

Shangguan Teng’s eyes were bloodshot as he shouted hoarsely. Feeling the disdainful gazes of the passersby, Shangguan Teng had never experienced such public ridicule before.

“Yes!”

The young man snapped back to his senses, waved his hand, and the family guards, who had been following them from fifty meters away, swarmed in from all directions like wolves and tigers.

They were the elite martial artist guards of the Shangguan Family, highly skilled.

For the safety of the Shangguan Family’s third young master, these guards were always nearby, ready to rush out at the slightest sign of disturbance.

“Damn!”

Just as Lin Zifeng was about to leave, he noticed something unusual around him and silently cursed.

Around the mall, twelve men in straight black suits with vibrating earphones moved in to surround Beiming Lan following the young man’s command.

Being a Sunday, the mall was almost entirely filled with young couples and passersby.

They were puzzled by the identity of the twelve men, thinking they might be plainclothes police, which made many young women stop to watch the scene.

“What do you want?”

The twelve suited men quickly surrounded Beiming Lan, blocking her path.

“Get out of the way!”

Realizing the potential severity of the situation, Beiming Lan quickly stepped forward and swung a punch at one man who looked like a celebrity.

“…”

However, after Beiming Lan swung her punch, it didn’t stir up any commotion. Her fist was caught with a single hand by the suited man in front of her!

“You…”

“Miss Beiming Lan, don’t you think you should take responsibility for your ignorant actions?”

The man in the black suit said coldly.

He was from the Shangguan Family, and he didn’t care about Beiming Lan’s identity at all.

“Bitch!”

At this time, with the help of the young man beside him, Shangguan Teng slowly approached from the escalator. His eyes were filled with intense anger, and if possible, he really wanted to devour Beiming Lan. Imagine a man being publicly kicked in the groin; who could endure that?

“What do you want to do?” Beiming Lan had realized something was wrong.

She wanted to escape the current situation, but the strength of those twelve men in suits was obviously much higher than hers. How could she possibly contend with them with her minor skills?

“What do I want to do? Haha. Beiming Lan, just because you’re the second young lady of the Beiming Family, do you think I won’t dare to do anything to you?”

Nevertheless, Shangguan Teng was full of rage, stepping closer and closer to Beiming Lan.

His eyes radiated a strong murderous intent.

Just a moment ago, Beiming Lan’s kick almost rendered his ability to pass on the family lineage useless.

Now, Beiming Lan finally understood how pitiable it was to not have a small follower by her side.

She regretted having driven away all the highly skilled guards that Beiming Yu had arranged for her.

Shangguan Teng was notorious around Dragon City as an arrogant second-generation rich kid, with his main entertainment being the pursuit of family ladies and noble beauties.

But this time, his target was Beiming Lan. The last time Beiming Lan was almost kidnapped was orchestrated by Shangguan Teng.

Beiming Yu found out later but never told her. This only made Shangguan Teng more arrogant.

“Daddy, why are those uncles bullying the sister?”

At this time, a delicate-looking little girl passing by asked her father in a sweet, childish voice.

The little girl’s father, just in his twenties, upon seeing this scene, hurriedly took his daughter away from the scene.

However, the little girl was stubborn, and seeing Shangguan Teng pressuring Beiming Lan step by step, she fiercely broke free from her father’s grasp, and then rushed in front of Shangguan Teng, tilting her cute little head up with her hands on her hips, her round, cherubic face full of a sense of justice.

She declared in her sweet, childish voice, “Uncle, you can’t bully the sister! Don’t you feel ashamed, bullying her with so many people?”

“Wow! Whose brat is this, thinking she can meddle in my affairs!”

Shangguan Teng cursed viciously.

His stomach was already filled with displeasure, and in a mall with so many onlookers, a little child came up to criticize him, putting his sense of pride to a tremendous test.

“Get lost!”

Shangguan Teng wasn’t completely heartless, he just shouted a couple of times at the little girl.

The girl’s father quickly picked her up, continuously apologizing.

This narrowly avoided Shangguan Teng’s impending outburst.

However, as Shangguan Teng was distracted, Beiming Lan quickly slipped past him, but as soon as she did, she suddenly felt a heavy hand clamp down on her shoulder.

“Beiming Lan, leaving like this, aren’t you giving me, Shangguan Teng, any face?”

Shangguan Teng’s cold voice came from behind.

At this point, Beiming Lan finally understood Shangguan Teng’s determination.

In an instant, Beiming Lan wished fervently for a little follower to appear, but the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment.

Just as Beiming Lan resigned to her fate, the little girl picked up earlier by her young father, once again in a moment of distraction, rushed up, tightly hugging Shangguan Teng’s leg.

She loudly declared in her sweet, childish voice, “Sister, you run, I’m going to be a hero and protect you!”

“Get off!”

Furious, Shangguan Teng kicked the little girl away.

“Ah!”

“Puff…”

The little girl spat out blood, her small body rolling down off the escalator.

“No!!!”

The young father screamed in agony, quickly rushing down the escalator.

The mall escalator was particularly long and high, and the little girl’s body continued tumbling down to the bottom.

Covered in blood, her cute little braids were a mess, her small face stained with blood. By the time she landed at the bottom, she was already unconscious…

This scene, witnessed by everyone around the mall, bore witness to the tragedy born of the child’s involvement in adult matters…

Yet, Shangguan Teng merely sneered with satisfaction.

“You! Are you even human anymore! To lay hands on such a small child, I’ll fight you!”

Snapped back to reality, Beiming Lan grabbed Shangguan Teng’s hair like mad, twisting and pulling with all her might.

“Ah!!!”

Shangguan Teng let out a terrible scream: “Beiming Lan, you bitch, let go!”

“I’ll fight you!”

Unrelenting, Beiming Lan held tightly to Shangguan Teng’s hair, refusing to let go.

“Get her off me!”

Shangguan Teng yowled in pain.

Twelve men in black suits quickly rushed forward, subduing Beiming Lan immediately.
