Chapter 880: Chapter 901 Brother Lin, You Pinched Me

”These guys, huh, Zheng Liang personally picked them out recently from the labor market.” Jia Zhenjing took a deep puff and exhaled a smoke ring, frowning, ”Why? Is there a problem?”

Lin Zifeng nodded and said, ”No problem, just that these people don’t quite seem like security guards.”

”Then what do they look like?”

”Like bodyguards!”

Lin Zifeng blurted out, ”Although these folks can’t be considered official, it’d be a bit of a waste to have them guarding Tianyu like this.”

”Xiao Linzi, why don’t I understand what you’re getting at? Stop babbling and tell me; your thoughts are clear to me, but do you have any good ideas?”

It was clear that Lin Zifeng was mentally chanting a mantra, and Jia Zhenjing was curious to see what good idea this kid could come up with.

”Hehe, with you here, Brother Jing, what other ideas could I have? It’s just that these newly recruited guards shouldn’t be stationed at the gate. A bit of a waste of talent. How about I give you a suggestion?”

”What’s the good suggestion?”

Upon hearing there was a good suggestion, old Jia quickly leaned his head forward and asked with a smile, ”You don’t mean to organize some kind of security guard corps, do you?”

”Forget the corps; better to transfer them all inside the company. I think it’s better than standing guard, right?”

Jia Zhenjing’s eyes shifted, thoughtfully considering this and finding some sense in it.

He quickly hooked an arm around Lin Zifeng’s shoulder and smiled, ”I say Xiao Linzi, you’re so concerned about your boss, does she know?”

”Brother Jing, I don’t understand what you’re saying.”

Lin Zifeng looked at him blankly and smiled nonchalantly.

”You really think Brother Jing knows nothing? You think this new batch of guards is strong and sturdy, and you want to reassign them to your boss’s side, to protect the CEO, right? Don’t play around with me, from the moment you stick out your butt, I know what kind of shit you’re up to.”

”Brother Jing, do you have to say it so harshly?” Lin Zifeng blushed, embarrassed by being called out, scratching his head, he couldn’t help but admire the guy.

He indeed wanted to station these newly-recruited guards near the CEO’s office, after all, the boss’s safety should be the top priority.

As her man, this kind of thinking is necessary.

”Alright, kiddo, since you have this intention, I won’t make it difficult for you. Let Zheng Liang lead them for a couple of days; once they know the rules, I’ll arrange their placements.”

”Wouldn’t that be trouble for Brother Jing?”

Lin Zifeng hurriedly pulled out a cigarette, looking ingratiating.

”Cough... Hehe, well, if you want to thank me, then take me out for a ’Kun’ tonight, or give me something straightforward, you know...”

As he said this, the guy gave Lin Zifeng a knowing wink, raising his eyebrows suggestively, and lightly rubbed his two fingers in front of Lin Zifeng.

”Forget about the ’Kun.’” Lin Zifeng’s face went dark.

”How about some ’Big Health Care’?”

Jia Zhenjing looked at him expectantly, mouth full of slobber.

”Oh! Right, the CEO is waiting for me to deal with some stuff today. Well, Brother Jing, we’ll talk next time when the opportunity arises.”

Da, da, da...

”Hey, that kid!”

Just as he realized and wanted to say something, Lin Zifeng was already running off, disappearing without a trace.

”Damn it! Mention ’Big Health Care’ and you pretend! You and your ancestors!” The man cursed angrily.

But just as he grinned, his cigarette suddenly fell from his mouth, landing perfectly into his shorts, making him leap up with a howl as the burning end scorched him.

For those who didn’t know, they might think he was dancing in the square.

...

Scared away, Lin Zifeng dared not linger anymore, defining his image in his mind: I am pure. I’m a straight and pure man; how could I go for ’Big Health Care’ with him? What a joke on an international scale!

Feeling agitated, afraid old Jia would chase him down, he hurriedly turned a corner...

”Ah—!”

A woman’s painful scream suddenly echoed in Lin Zifeng’s ears.

The graceful figure twisted her ankle as Lin Zifeng bumped into her, and soon she fell towards the ground.

Quickly reacting, Lin Zifeng stepped forward, extending his warm hand to catch and cradle the alluring body into his arms.

”Xixi?” Lin Zifeng was momentarily stunned, then smiled and looked at her.

Rather than say he was looking at her, it was more like he was fixated on her bust—

Today, Zhang Xixi’s outfit was really sexy, wearing a black ol dress clinging tightly to her figure.

The shirt buttons below her neck were partly undone, exposing the pink, delicate skin underneath, making Lin Zifeng swallow unconsciously.

Especially the fragrance emanating from her body, at such close proximity, was utterly enticing!

”Lin, Lin Brother!”

Zhang Xixi was initially shocked, but upon seeing his face clearly, her cheeks flushed bright red.

”Xixi, why are you so careless when walking? Wouldn’t it be bad if you fell and got hurt?” Lin Zifeng showed a caring demeanor.

”I-I understand.”

Zhang Xixi blushed, her face almost dripping with water.

She wished she could bury her head in his chest.

”What’s wrong? Xixi, your face doesn’t look good. Are you feeling unwell?”

Lin Zifeng laughed.

”Lin, Lin Brother, could you, could you stop squeezing?”

Finally, Zhang Xixi awkwardly pointed out where Lin Zifeng’s big hand was pressing.

”Uh—” Lin Zifeng looked down to realize that his sinful hand was placed on Zhang Xixi’s chest! What made him wish he could knock his head against the wall was that he even squeezed twice; it felt good, but was so embarrassing!

Gosh!

I am supposed to be a pure and upright person...

Letting her go, Lin Zifeng felt his face burning, his demon claw unsure where to place itself, awkwardly smiling, ”Well, Xixi, about that... um.”

”Lin Brother, I know you didn’t mean it, don’t take it to heart.”

”Uh, I didn’t do it intentionally either.” Lin Zifeng hurried to explain.

Afraid Zhang Xixi would misunderstand it as deliberate.

”Hehe... Lin Brother, I know you didn’t mean it either.”

Being flustered earlier, Zhang Xixi couldn’t help but laugh at Lin Zifeng’s awkward expression.

”By the way, Lin Brother, you were rushing off to where?”

To ease the awkwardness, Zhang Xixi smartly changed the topic.

”Uh, haha, well. I haven’t come to work in days, and the weather’s good today, so I thought I’d come in. By the way, you’re my superior, aren’t you glad I’m here?”
