Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 848: Chapter 868: Evening Date with a Beauty

”Let’s hope so,” Lin Zifeng chuckled, purposely changing the subject, ”By the way, since we’ve finished everything that needed handling, are we heading back to Zhonghai tomorrow?”

”The foundation of the branch in Macau isn’t very solid. It was supposed to go public this year, but it looks like it’ll be delayed again. There’s no point in staying longer, so tomorrow it is.”

”Alright, have you booked the ticket yet? If not, how about I book it for you tonight?” Lin Zifeng smiled ingratiatingly, inwardly looking for an excuse to sneak away. Silence had just called, thankfully his phone was on vibrate at that crucial moment, or he would’ve been caught red-handed.

”Tickets are now booked online, no need for all that trouble. Are you planning to meet up with that friend of yours again?”

Nangong Bing saw right through Lin Zifeng’s weak spot.

Lin Zifeng immediately laughed awkwardly, ”How could that be? I’m your faithful little jacket, offering warmth when you need me most.”

”Go on, stop with the flattery. I have a lot of things to do tonight. You should go to another room.”

”Why? Are couples supposed to sleep apart?” Lin Zifeng was speechless.

We’ve already done ’that’ twice, and still sleeping apart? Is this woman naturally frigid?

”You, you, what are you thinking? Today’s been a big day; can’t I just have a good rest?” The woman’s eyes glared at him.

”Fine. If that’s the case, I have no choice but to sleep elsewhere,” Lin Zifeng shook his head helplessly, yet secretly delighted.

Now he finally had an excuse to leave.

”Bang.”

The door closed, and the man’s figure disappeared from the room, leaving behind a sudden, unexplainable feeling of emptiness.

Nangong Bing sat quietly in front of the computer, not moving for a long time.

Supporting her chin with her wrist, she opened the computer in a bored manner, her mind a mess, not sure what to look at or do.

Opening Kugou Music, she tried to find a song that could relax her, one she could enjoy, but it was difficult.

At this moment, her emotions were incredibly tangled.

Especially Lin Zifeng, who had now become a soft spot in her heart.

Sometimes she felt truly afraid.

Afraid of losing him, more afraid of the future days without an annoying guy to bicker with her.

She lazily browsed the internet, when suddenly, the words ”blog” appeared in her browser.

This caught her attention.

After typing ”blog” into the Baidu column, what appeared before her was a news article about blogs.

In tiny red lettering, the words that caught Nangong Bing’s attention were ”record your daily mood.”

Without thinking, she clicked on it.

Surprised to find many people posting moods and blogs daily in this blog, sharing everyday sights, delicious and fun things.

Already feeling quite stifled, she also registered a new blog there.

Named it ”Ice and Snow Tenderness.”

It seemed a bit cheesy; this was her first time playing with blogs.

Though she had Weibo, forums, and social circles, this was her first discovery of such a treasure.

People had mentioned blogs to her before, but in her proud demeanor, such a thing seemed like something boastful, idle people played with, not worth wasting even a minute on.

After registering the blog, she quickly browsed some celebrity blogs.

Especially Quishi Baike, the so-called Ice Beauty sometimes couldn’t help but laugh.

Lastly, she started her own blog, learning from the bloggers there.

After spending a full ten minutes writing something, once uploaded, it garnered no attention.

Perhaps that’s the effect she wanted, recording her mood little by little each day, kept secretly within, not wanting anyone else to know...

After leaving the hotel, the phone in her pocket rang again, Silence’s tipsy voice coming through, she could tell she’d been drinking.

With a righteous perspective of a good man, Lin Zifeng took a taxi to the place Silence had arranged.

Strangely enough, why would this girl choose such a deserted place for a meeting?

Until the taxi reached the pier, from afar stood a Ferrari sports car, its lights blazing, with Silence sitting on its hood, holding her knees, staring blankly at the beach.

This beach was a famous natural beach in Macau, with waves gently lapping the sandy shore, sending up layers of spray.

Laying eyes on her sitting alone hugging her knees on the car’s hood triggered a pang of loneliness.

”Girl, meeting me here at such an hour, aren’t you afraid I’m a bad guy?”

The familiar voice suddenly came from behind, and Silence’s eyes brightened; turning her head, she spotted Lin Zifeng walking towards her with a cigarette in his mouth.

”Big brother Lin, you’re here!”

Silence jumped down from the hood, today dressed more youthful compared to the mature evening gown she wore days before in the Gambling City.

Swirling her slender upper body in a pink Korean-style blouse, though not large-sized, beneath her voluptuous bosom, the charming sight was hard to cover.

Below, a simple pure black short skirt wrapped around her two long, smooth legs, paired with enticing high-heels, could absolutely evoke wild imaginations.

Immediately Lin Zifeng’s eyes widened.

Ahem—a decent man, just looking, won’t do anything, yes, a decent man.

Though he looked, he kept his self-definition mightily high-minded.

”Uh, Jingjing, it’s late at night; inviting me to see the beach, isn’t your romantic style a bit too unique?” Lin Zifeng chuckled while scratching his nose.

Wet-eyed Silence ran up to Lin Zifeng, her teary snow-like eyes gazing into his, sorrowfully saying, ”Big brother Lin, are you leaving Macau tomorrow?”

”Uh, what, what’s happening?”

”Big brother Lin, are you leaving Macau tomorrow? Answer me first.”

”Yes, tomorrow’s flight,” Lin Zifeng answered seriously.
