Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 805: Chapter 797 Alternative_2

In the end, after searching through several hotels, they had no choice but to pick a small inn.

However, when it came time to pay, Lin Zifeng blushed slightly as both the hotel receptionist and Zhang Mengjie stared at him intently.

His hands remained awkwardly stuffed in his pockets, unable to take them out because he hadn’t brought any money with him.

Facing the price of three hundred yuan for two regular rooms, Lin Zifeng chuckled and said, ”Sister Zhang, isn’t it a bit expensive? How about we just get one room?”

”O-one room?”

Zhang Mengjie thought to herself, this guy looked so serious, but it seems he was just putting on an act; he must have other things on his mind.

But little did she know, Lin Zifeng only had two yuan and fifty cents left, which was change from buying buns earlier that morning.

Besides that, he didn’t have a penny more.

”Mm, just one room with a double bed.” Lin Zifeng’s face remained calm as he winked at the hotel receptionist and said, ”Let’s just get one room.”

”A hundred and fifty.”

”By the way, did you bring any money?” Lin Zifeng suddenly turned and asked.

”I did.”

”Then could you do me the favor of paying? I’ll pay you back later,” Lin Zifeng said with a smile.

”...”

As Zhang Mengjie suspected, he indeed hadn’t brought any money; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been so shocked at the price list in the hotel lobby.

Once the hotel room was secured, both remained silent, lost in their own odd thoughts.

Gazing around the room filled with amorous tension, they exchanged a glance.

Zhang Mengjie, her face uncharacteristically flushed, was the first to retreat to the bathroom to wash her face and try to clear her mind.

Even she couldn’t understand why she had unknowingly accompanied a man to a hotel room; it wasn’t something she had ever envisioned doing.

It was Lin Zifeng’s first time being in such a situation as well, and he felt awkward.

Sitting on the bed, he pretended to watch TV, although in reality, he couldn’t stop wondering what might unfold next.

After all, they had shared a passionate kiss before.

Indeed—what was bound to happen eventually came!

When Zhang Mengjie emerged from the bathroom, she appeared quite calm, although inwardly she tried hard to steady herself, fervently reminding herself not to make the first move, fearing that doing so would devalue her.

”Uh, let’s turn off the lights and go to sleep,” Lin Zifeng suggested, pointing to the switch.

”Sure, turn them off then.”

Zhang Mengjie forced a nod, biting her lip slightly.

Once the lights were off, there was one bed.

Two young adults, their bodies at the peak of youth, lay back-to-back, neither speaking a word.

Smelling the fragrance less than half a meter away, Lin Zifeng felt a small thrill of excitement in his heart.

Sensing a subtle movement from Lin Zifeng, Zhang Mengjie obligingly turned over, casting her alluring breath across Lin Zifeng’s face, arousing his desire.

After all, they were both adults, lying on the same bed with another fully developed person—it would be a lie to say he wasn’t tempted.

”Are you holding back?”

Zhang Mengjie suddenly asked.

”If you truly want it, tonight I’m all yours.”

Her blunt, unrestrained words caught Lin Zifeng’s attention; he wasn’t usually a pushy man, but since she made such an offer, what was there to fear?

”I’m sorry, I’m a decent man. Really!” Lin Zifeng said earnestly.

Inside, though, he was feeling overwhelmed, thinking, who am I kidding?

It’s all an act, after all.

”I know you’re a decent man.”

Goodness! To his surprise, Zhang Mengjie’s response was simply acknowledging it, leaving Lin Zifeng feeling awkward. Could it end just because he said he was decent... with no conclusion after all...

”But I certainly am not!”

Zhang Mengjie suddenly laughed.

Suddenly, she flipped and straddled Lin Zifeng, her enticing almond eyes filled with a fiery heat.

In such close proximity, they could feel each other’s rapid breaths.

”No one will disturb us now, come on, my most valiant knight.” Her lips neared Lin Zifeng’s ear, making his ears burn with her hurried breath.

”As you wish, I am but a knight!”

And they quickly began to meld into the most primal of embraces.

After the passion passed.

Zhang Mengjie, having dressed again, glanced at him with a sultry smile and said, ”So, what exactly is our relationship now? You’re not going to just forget about this, are you?”

”Hmm?” Lin Zifeng, putting on his pants, suddenly turned to look at her with a sharp gaze.

His heart skipped a beat. Damn, was this woman trying to get something out of me? No way, right? Given her situation, being with me would be considered lucky for her. It’s not like she’ll gain anything of value from me...

”What? Why are you giving me that look?” Lin Zifeng was startled; her gaze had indeed felt a bit odd.

”Tsk, tsk, Lin Zifeng, you’ve taken advantage of me and think it’s fine to just brush it off with a simple phrase? You’ve got no conscience!”

Zhang Mengjie lit a slender cigarette, breathing in steadily. She wasn’t hoping for any recognition from Lin Zifeng. She knew full well.

He was already married. And as for herself, she led a life fraught with danger. It was impossible for them to be together for long. Yet here she was, having given herself to him. Surely he should at least say something.
