After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1778: Chapter 1782: Why Don’t You Go After Mom?

Looking at the little one’s appearance, Leng Zimo only felt heartache, his feet standing still.

”Dad?” Luo Jun tugged at him a few times but failed to move him, turning his face with confusion, ”Why don’t you go?”

”It’s useless.” Leng Zimo frowned, ”Mom is furious right now; she won’t forgive me...”

Luo Jun furrowed his little brows, ”You’re lying, you just don’t want to go, isn’t that right?!”

”Mo Mo!” Leng Lin spoke firmly, ”Don’t speak to your father like that.”

”Say something, isn’t it that you don’t want to go?” Luo Jun only lifted his little face, looking at Leng Zimo.

Leng Zimo gritted his teeth, ”Yes, I don’t want to go!”

”Why?!” Luo Jun shouted angrily, ”Obviously it’s your fault, why don’t you go chase after Mom?”

How could he understand Leng Zimo’s feelings? He just thought that since it was Leng Zimo’s mistake, he should admit it to Luo Xiaoqian. Now that Leng Zimo refused to apologize, Luo Jun was naturally very upset.

Leng Zimo was about to explain to him when the phone on the table started ringing. He grabbed the phone and saw Duke Andre’s number displayed, immediately waving to Ah Jiu, ”Take them out, I need to take this call!”

”Leng Zimo, answer me, why don’t you go chase after Mom...”

Luo Jun was eager to rush over, but Ah Jiu quickly grabbed his arm and lifted him off the ground.

”Young Master, let’s go outside first. Dad will explain this matter to you later.”

”I won’t go!” The little one struggled vigorously in Ah Jiu’s arms, ”Leng Zimo, answer me, why don’t you chase after Mom, is it because you don’t love her anymore...”

Given the seriousness of the situation, Ah Jiu had to harden his heart.

Luo Jun was still a child, unable to fight against Ah Jiu, and was quickly carried outside.

Leng Zimo frowned as he listened to his son’s gradually distant voice and raised his hand to answer the call.

”Duke, it’s a pleasure to hear your voice again.”

”I’ve already contacted the Duke of Kent. Now I will give you his number so you can negotiate with him directly,” Duke Andre said over the phone.

”Thank you very much for your help. After a while, I’ll definitely bring my wife and son to visit you in the United Kingdom.”

”Alright, I look forward to your family’s visit.”

Leng Zimo politely ended the call and then dialed the Duke of Kent’s number that he had just written down.

After three rings, someone answered.

”Kent Mansion.”

”Hello, I am a friend of Duke Andre. I have a very important matter that requires speaking with the Duchess.”

”May I please know your name?”

Leng Zimo reported his name, and the other party asked him to wait a moment, then turned away.

A moment later, an elegant female voice came over the phone, ”Hello?”

”You must be Jiao Yang’s mother, Ms. Jiao Yalin, right?” Leng Zimo asked in Chinese.

”Yes, I am.” The woman switched to Chinese, ”May I ask who you are?”

”My surname is Leng, Leng Zimo.”

”Leng Zimo?” Jiao Yalin’s tone had a faint surprise and undisguised wariness, ”What do you want?”

”My identity, I believe you should know. I’m calling to tell you that your son is in great danger right now. If you don’t want to lose him, please call the police immediately. He is being kidnapped and his life is at stake. Don’t ask me how I know; as a mother, what you should be doing now is to save him, not question me!”

Goodnight.
