Everyone in the Group is a Main Character, Except Me Who's the Villain

225: Chapter 225 You dare touch my girlfriend? You’re asking for it!The flames gradually died down, but the stench of burning and scorching heat waves still lingered in the air.

The two Bodyguards rolled on the ground, wailing. The fire on them was finally extinguished, but their exposed skin was charred black, a gruesome sight.

The other Bodyguards instinctively retreated a few steps. Two of them even drew their handguns, but no one dared to move forward.

Lu Chenzhou stood where he was, the shock on his face slowly fading, replaced by a complex, somber expression.

He looked at Ye Nuannuan, then at the Scroll in her hand that had already turned to ash, and finally at his two half-dead subordinates on the ground. Suddenly, he let out a chuckle.

That smile was cold.

”Nuannuan, you truly keep surprising me more and more.”

His voice returned to a calm tone, but that calmness was more unsettling than anger.

”You used to be just an ordinary girl, but now... you actually know how to use such methods?”

Ye Nuannuan didn’t say anything; she just gripped another Defense Scroll tightly, staring at him warily.

Lu Chenzhou took a step forward. Ye Nuannuan immediately backed away until her back was pressed firmly against the car door.

”Don’t be afraid.” Lu Chenzhou stopped, his tone as gentle as if he were coaxing a child. ”I just want to take you back so we can have a proper talk.”

”I have nothing to talk about with you.”

”Is that so?” The corner of Lu Chenzhou’s mouth curled up.

As soon as he finished speaking, a dark shadow silently glided past the other side of the porsche.

The figure was incredibly fast, moving without making a sound.

Ye Nuannuan sensed something was wrong. Just as she was about to turn her head, a sudden chill ran down the back of her neck. A slender, cold hand had already seized her nape, with fingertips pressed against her carotid artery.

”Don’t move.”

A woman’s voice spoke, as cold and clear as a winter stream.

Ye Nuannuan’s whole body stiffened.

A woman in a black bodysuit stepped out from behind her. She looked to be around twenty-seven or twenty-eight, with cold, elegant features and sharp eyes.

Her long hair was tied in a sleek ponytail, and she was tall, moving with the lithe grace of a cheetah.

Her hand was firmly clamped on Ye Nuannuan’s nape, while her other hand gripped Ye Nuannuan’s wrist. If Ye Nuannuan made even the slightest move, that hand could snap her neck in an instant.

Watching this, a genuine smile finally appeared on Lu Chenzhou’s face.

”Qingyan, Don’t hurt her.”

The woman didn’t speak; she simply nodded slightly. While snatching the Scroll from Ye Nuannuan’s hand, she brought her before Lu Chenzhou.

Lu Chenzhou was very tall and looked down at her.

”Nuannuan, although I don’t know what’s going on with you right now, I told you that you can’t escape. Come back to Yanjing with me.”

Ye Nuannuan grit her teeth and remained silent, only glancing at the car window behind her out of the corner of her eye.

Fang Ming was still inside, motionless.

”As long as you’re willing to come back with me, I promise not to hurt you,” Lu Chenzhou said, following her gaze to the man still sleeping in the car. ”And I won’t hurt him either.”

He emphasized the word ’him’ lightly, but the threat was unmistakable.

If you’re not willing, then I’ll kill him.

Hearing Lu Chenzhou’s words, Ye Nuannuan’s heart began to race.

She knew what kind of person Lu Chenzhou was. She knew his promise not to hurt someone could be the truth, or it could be the biggest lie.

If she agreed to go with him, there was no telling what he might do to Fang Ming.

”I’m not going back.” Ye Nuannuan heard her own voice, firmer than she had imagined. ”Lu Chenzhou, I already have a boyfriend.”

The smile on Lu Chenzhou’s face faltered for a moment.

He tilted his head and glanced again at the man in the car, who was leaning against the seat, fast asleep and oblivious. A disdainful smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

”Him? Nuannuan, if you’re looking for a shield, at least find a decent one. Can a useless piece of trash who gets this drunk even protect you?”

”Come with me.” Lu Chenzhou looked down at her, his voice dropping into a commanding tone. ”You know that I never let go of what I want.”

He reached out to touch her face, but Ye Nuannuan turned her head away to dodge his hand. Meanwhile, she focused her consciousness, preparing to call for reinforcements in the group chat.

”Nuannuan, are we home yet?”

A drunken voice suddenly drifted from the car, interrupting her thoughts.

Everyone instinctively looked toward the porsche.

The rear door was pushed open, and Fang Ming stumbled out of the car. His steps were unsteady, his face still flushed from the alcohol, and his eyes were hazy as he looked at the group of people around him.

”Who are you guys?” he asked slurringly. His gaze swept over the Bodyguards before finally landing on Lu Chenzhou’s face. ”It’s the middle of the night. Why are you surrounding my car?”

Lu Chenzhou looked at him in this state, a sneer forming on his lips.

This is it??

He turned to Ye Nuannuan, his eyes filled with mockery that said, ”This is the kind of trash you chose?”

The two Bodyguards who had been burned were still groaning on the ground, while the others stared warily at the drunkard who had suddenly stepped out of the car.

”Bring him here,” Lu Chenzhou said flatly.

Two Bodyguards immediately stepped forward, reaching out to grab Fang Ming.

The moment their hands were about to touch Fang Ming’s shoulders—Fang Ming suddenly moved.

His drunken appearance vanished instantly, replaced by a suffocating sense of pressure.

With a shift of his feet, he glided between the two Bodyguards like a phantom. He was so fast that no one present could clearly see his movements.

A second later, he was standing in front of the woman named Qingyan.

The woman’s pupils constricted. She instinctively tried to tighten her grip on Ye Nuannuan, but... it was too late.

Fang Ming’s left hand shot out, accurately seizing her wrist. With a gentle twist, Qingyan’s entire arm went numb, and she involuntarily released Ye Nuannuan.

In the same instant, his right arm wrapped around Ye Nuannuan’s waist, pulling her into his embrace, while his right foot kicked out like a bolt of lightning!

Bang!

The kick landed squarely on Qingyan’s abdomen. The woman was sent flying over three meters, as if struck by a truck, and slammed heavily onto the roof of an abandoned car, denting the metal.

”Cough...” Qingyan curled up on the car roof, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth, her face full of disbelief.

The area fell into a dead silence.

The mockery on Lu Chenzhou’s face froze.

The two Bodyguards, who had just managed to react, instinctively tried to raise their guns to fire.

Without even turning his head, Fang Ming casually waved his right hand.

Boom!

An invisible wave of air erupted from his palm like a physical shockwave, slamming hard into the two Bodyguards.

Before they could even scream, they were sent flying, crashing into a pile of rubble seven or eight meters away. Their handguns flew from their hands and skidded across the ground.

External Release of True Qi.

Grandmaster.

The woman named Qingyan lay on the car roof, watching this scene with eyes full of horror.

A Grandmaster? This young man is a Grandmaster?

Lu Chenzhou stood there, his expression finally changing.

He looked at Fang Ming, the man he had just dismissed as ”trash,” who now stood before Ye Nuannuan like a mountain, his eyes so calm they were chilling.

Fang Ming shielded Ye Nuannuan behind him, his gaze landing on Lu Chenzhou’s face.

”You dare touch my girlfriend? You’re looking for death!”
