Everyone in the Group is a Main Character, Except Me Who's the Villain

201: Chapter 201: I was given a chance, but it was useless.Less than a minute after the lackey left, the door to the private room was pushed open again, and a middle-aged man about 1.75 meters tall walked in.

The middle-aged man had a square face, dark skin, and a few wrinkles at the corners of his eyes. He wore a dark grey short-sleeved shirt tucked into suit trousers, with a bunch of keys hanging from his belt that made a faint clinking sound as he moved.

He was dressed like a typical grassroots official or a small-time business owner.

Huang Jun squinted his eyes as he sized the man up, then waved his hand to the side, signaling the lackeys singing to turn down the volume.

Ignoring these actions, the middle-aged man walked straight over and sat down opposite him. He crossed his legs and leaned back, his posture even more relaxed than Huang Jun’s.

“Are you Huang Jun?”

His voice wasn’t loud, but it was clear, carrying an air of natural authority.

Huang Jun frowned slightly. The man’s attitude annoyed him, but for the sake of the ’big business,’ he forced down his temper.

“That’s me. You said on the phone you had a big deal to discuss?”

The middle-aged man didn’t respond immediately. Instead, he pulled a cigarette from his trouser pocket, placed it in his mouth, slowly lit it, and took a drag, exhaling a cloud of smoke.

“Old City District, Xinguang Garden, Building 6, Unit 302—the red paint on the door and those dead rats at the entrance, did you have your people do that?”

The man spoke casually, as if discussing an insignificant matter, but the moment the words left his mouth, the atmosphere in the room shifted instantly.

The casual expression on Huang Jun’s face froze, and his gaze sharpened.

The skinny man beside him suddenly sat up straight, and several lackeys who had been lounging on the sofa stopped what they were doing, their eyes all fixing on this uninvited guest.

The two girls, sensing something was wrong, exchanged glances and tactfully stood up, slipping out along the wall.

The door to the private room closed softly.

“So, you’re here to play the hero, are you?”

Huang Jun didn’t bother denying it. He uncrossed his legs and leaned forward slightly, staring at the dark-skinned face across from him. “Being able to trace it back to me in such a short time proves you have some skill, but do you know that there’s a price to pay for messing with me?”

As soon as he finished speaking, several lackeys surrounded the man, cracking their knuckles.

Having spent years in the nightlife scene, they were certainly no pushovers. Now that the visitor had clearly come with ill intent, how could they not react?

The middle-aged man didn’t look at the others. He stubbed his cigarette out in the ashtray on the coffee table and looked up at Huang Jun, his gaze as calm as a pool of stagnant water.

“Offending me also carries a price.”

The middle-aged man remained unruffled, holding up two fingers. “I’ll give you two choices now.”

“One: clean up the mess you made, apologize in person, and pay two hundred thousand yuan in compensation for emotional distress.”

“Two: I give you all a beating, and then you repeat choice one.”

The room went silent for a second after he said this.

Then Huang Jun laughed—he laughed so hard his shoulders shook.

The men around him laughed as well, their laughter filled with disdain and mockery.

“Hahahaha!!”

“No, really, where did this psycho come from? Asking us to apologize and pay two hundred thousand? Do you even know how much two hundred thousand is?!”

“Is this guy an idiot or what?”

“Hey, old man, do you know who our Brother Jun is? Do you know where you are? Who the hell gave you the courage to talk to Brother Jun like that?”

“Break one of his hands and throw him out!” Huang Jun didn’t want to waste any more words and gave the order directly to his lackeys.

Cleaning up the paint, apologizing in person, paying two hundred thousand? He couldn’t accept any of it.

Since the man was looking for death, he certainly wouldn’t refuse to oblige him.

As soon as he finished speaking, the skinny man rushed at the middle-aged man, raising a glass bottle high and swinging it down hard toward the man’s head!

“Die!”

The middle-aged man didn’t even tilt his head. His left hand shot out like lightning, grabbing the skinny man’s wrist that held the bottle and giving it a sharp twist!

Crack!

The sound of bone dislocating was clearly audible.

“Aaaagh!!” The skinny man let out a blood-curdling scream as the bottle slipped from his hand.

The middle-aged man caught the falling bottle with his right hand and smashed it back into the skinny man’s face!

Bang!

Glass shards flew everywhere. The skinny man was sent flying sideways, crashing onto a small coffee table nearby. Bottles and glasses rolled all over the floor, and he went completely silent.

The entire room erupted instantly!

“Fuck!”

“Get him!”

Seeing things had turned ugly, the remaining seven men grabbed whatever weapons they could and lunged. Glass bottles, ashtrays, folding chairs—two even pulled out telescopic batons from behind their waists—all raining down toward the middle-aged man.

Instead of retreating, the middle-aged man advanced.

He stepped forward, dodging the first swinging baton, and drove his knee hard into the attacker’s abdomen. The man groaned and doubled over like a shrimp before collapsing.

With a side-step and an elbow strike, a second man’s jaw was dislocated, and he was sent crashing back onto the sofa.

Reaching back, he snatched a baton and struck a third man behind the knee. The man screamed as he fell to one knee. Before he could react, a knife-hand strike hit the back of his neck, knocking him flat.

Three seconds, three men down.

“Holy shit, what’s going on?”

“Is this guy even human?”

“I don’t believe this...”

The remaining four thugs, their eyes red with rage, lunged from different directions.

The middle-aged man grabbed a nearby folding chair and swung it in a wide arc!

Bang, bang, bang!

Three men were hit. Some had broken ribs, others dislocated arms; they all fell to the ground wailing.

The last one holding a bottle froze for a second. The middle-aged man stepped across, grabbed him by the throat with one hand, and slammed him hard against the wall!

Bang!

His head hit the wall paneling, his eyes rolled back, and he slumped down limply.

Huang Jun stood where he was, holding a machete he had just pulled from under the coffee table, completely stunned.

In less than two minutes, all eight of his men were down.

“You... you motherfucker...” His hand holding the knife was shaking. He pointed the blade at the middle-aged man, but his feet were backing away.

The middle-aged man turned and looked at him. His gaze was as calm as if he were looking at a corpse.

“Put the knife down.”

Huang Jun’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed. He gritted his teeth but didn’t dare move.

The middle-aged man took a step forward and suddenly barked a cold command.

“I said, put the knife down.”

Like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, Huang Jun suddenly swung the blade!

The middle-aged man stepped aside to dodge, and simultaneously his right hand shot out, accurately seizing Huang Jun’s wrist and twisting!

Crack—the wrist bone dislocated.

“Aaaagh!!” Huang Jun screamed as the machete fell from his hand.

The middle-aged man didn’t stop. He kicked Huang Jun behind the knee, sending him crashing forward to his knees.

The next second, a large hand with prominent knuckles grabbed him by the hair.

The room fell completely silent, save for the groans of the others and Huang Jun’s heavy breathing.

“I gave you a chance, but you’re fucking useless.”

The middle-aged man patted Huang Jun’s cheek provocatively, then fished a phone out from Huang Jun’s person and held it in front of him. “Hurry up and call your boss over.”

“Wh... what?” Huang Jun thought he had misheard.

He’d beaten him up and actually dared to tell him to call his boss?! Does this guy even know who his boss is?!

“I said, call your boss over.”

The middle-aged man repeated himself. After speaking, he picked up the knife from the floor and looked at Huang Jun’s dislocated hand.

“My patience is limited. I’ll give you thirty minutes at most. If he doesn’t show up, you can say goodbye to this hand...”
