The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

”Did they get off from the back door?” Yan Qing asked, puzzled.

”Didn’t notice, let’s observe again at the next stop,” Cui Wenyan replied softly.

At the next stop, the two watched closely and discovered something strange. The number of people getting on matched exactly the number of people getting off, not one more, not one less, just enough for one bus, and everyone had a seat. Everything was orderly, with no pushing or shoving.

At the terminal, Yan Qing looked around: ”This scenic spot used to be crowded with people. Now, why does it seem less crowded?”

”Look over there at the line for tickets,” Cui Wenyan suddenly pointed to a queue and said.

”What’s wrong?” Yan Qing looked over, ”Did you notice anything strange?”

”Don’t know, just feel something’s off, but can’t quite say why,” Cui Wenyan said, frowning at the neatly arranged queue.

The people who got off the bus with Cui Wenyan and Yan Qing were also heading to the scenic spot. They lined up at the back of the queue. The queue remained orderly, but someone attempted to cut in line.

They were two young, strong men. Ignoring others’ complaints, they were determined to cut to the front of the line.

But in the next moment, a bizarre event occurred, and the two men vanished into thin air.

Those in line were stunned, thinking their eyes were deceiving them. Yet just moments ago, two men tried to cut in line, and suddenly they disappeared.

A commotion rose among the crowd, everyone discussing the thrilling incident. One person might missee, but so many people misseeing was impossible.

”Ghosts?”

”Aliens?”

”It can’t be that we all are hallucinating.”

...

Yan Qing also witnessed the entire process, he frowned and said to Cui Wenyan, ”At that moment, I sensed a strange aura.”

”Those two are dead,” Cui Wenyan’s face darkened, and he whispered.

”What did you say?” Yan Qing was shocked.

”Those two are dead. It was like a tear in the space just now, a mouth full of long sharp teeth swallowed them whole. I saw a lot of blood,” Cui Wenyan slowly said, ”I could see their souls, seemed to be collected away.”

Yan Qing looked at Cui Wenyan in disbelief.

”My eyes are the Spiritual Eye. I can see many things others can’t. Follow me!” Cui Wenyan turned and ran in one direction, Yan Qing followed closely behind.

Spiritual Eye?!

Yan Qing ran behind Cui Wenyan, looking at Cui Wenyan’s thin back, his mind was greatly shaken. The legendary Spiritual Eye really existed, and it was so close to him.

Cui Wenyan found a shared bike and called Yan Qing to hurry and follow. Yan Qing quickly scanned a bike and followed behind Cui Wenyan.

They rode all the way together, when passing an intersection, a group of pedestrians began crossing the zebra line to the other side. At this moment, a car drove towards them, showing no intention of yielding, rather it accelerated, trying to pass before the group of pedestrians.

In the next moment, the car suddenly flipped, jumped into the air, and then disappeared.

”Dead,” Cui Wenyan stopped the bike, looking at the sky, and said in a deep voice.

The group of pedestrians stood bewildered, just like the people at the scenic spot queue earlier, they began to doubt their own eyes.

”What’s going on?” Yan Qing was full of questions.

Before Cui Wenyan could answer, a sound of argument erupted nearby.

”Why didn’t you pay attention while walking? You hit someone and think you’re in the right? My phone got smashed too.” A girl angrily accused another taller girl, holding her broken phone.
