The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

Chapter 361: Chapter 13: The Playboy Prince Strives for Success

Qi Haoxuan nodded repeatedly, ”Mm-hmm, once I remember, I’ll tell you.” But in his heart, he was thinking about quickly finding the answer after returning home.

After purchasing the Jade Token, Qi Haoxuan took Tianmiao to another jewelry shop. Tianmiao asked similar questions again, wondering why this set was designed like this, and said it looked very beautiful, thanking the Prince for his gift.

Qi Haoxuan was starting to sweat in the back. He didn’t know anything about it! Would Tiantian think he was useless? No, absolutely not! He couldn’t disappoint Tiantian’s beautiful eyes filled with trust. Qi Haoxuan secretly made a determined decision in his heart.

After having lunch outside, Tianmiao expressed that she wanted to go back to rest. After all, for Tianmiao, eating, drinking, and having fun were essential, but sleep was even more so.

Qi Haoxuan felt utterly relieved, and after sending Tianmiao back to the Prince Mansion to rest, he hurried to the Imperial Palace.

”Brother, Brother!” Qi Haoxuan rushed into the Imperial Study Room, shouting loudly.

The Emperor was just about to undress to take a rest on the bed behind the Study Room when he heard his silly brother’s calls.

”What’s the matter?” The Emperor, sitting on the bed, looked at Qi Haoxuan who ran in and asked.

”Brother, quickly find me ten or eight teachers; I want to study hard,” Qi Haoxuan said.

The Emperor stared blankly at Qiao Haoxuan and then directly lay back on the bed.

”Brother, what’s wrong?” Qi Haoxuan was startled and rushed forward worriedly to support the Emperor.

He then saw the Emperor with wide eyes, muttering, ”Am I still asleep? Why am I dreaming? But I remember I was just getting ready to rest.”

Qi Haoxuan: ”...Brother, is it so unbelievable that I want to study hard?”

”Of course, it is. Silly child, aren’t you having a fever today?” The Emperor, confirming he wasn’t dreaming, sat up again, pulled Qi Haoxuan to sit beside him, and reached out to touch his forehead, ”No fever. So, tell me, what’s your bad idea today?”

”No, Brother, I really want to study hard,” Qi Haoxuan said earnestly.

This time, the Emperor was genuinely surprised.

”You really want to study?” The Emperor’s mouth dropped open in amazement, ”Why? What happened?”

”Oh, Brother, don’t worry about it,” Qi Haoxuan shook the Emperor’s arm, ”Hurry up, issue a decree to find me teachers, and then you can take your nap. I won’t bother you any longer. You’re tired from attending court every day, and your nap time is so short. I really don’t want to keep taking up your time.”

”Alright, alright, Chong’an.” The Emperor called over his close Chief Eunuch and issued a decree, appointing a few scholars for Qi Haoxuan, who was to come to the Imperial Palace every morning to study. Qi Haoxuan happily gave the Emperor a bear hug, urged him to rest quickly, and ran out with the royal decree. He planned to casually find a teacher right away to ask about the questions Tiantian had asked earlier. Once he knew the answers, he would return to answer Tiantian.

The Emperor watched his silly brother run off, and the sleepiness completely left him. After a moment’s thought, he called Chong’an, ”Go check what’s going on with the Free Prince today.”

Chong’an quickly found out the answer and reported it to the Emperor.

The Emperor was dumbfounded, ”What did you say? Haoxuan was motivated to study hard because that Miss Tian asked him questions he couldn’t answer?”

”Yes,” Chong’an replied with his head lowered.

The Emperor’s eyes were wide open, unable to process it for a while.

After a long time, he finally spoke, ”Have someone keep an eye on him.”

He suddenly became very curious about the future changes.
