The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

Chapter 354: Chapter 6: The Playboy Prince Strives for Self-Improvement

Qi Haoxuan looked at the delighted Emperor and slowly uttered, ”But, I don’t even know which family that girl belongs to.”

Emperor: ”?”

”Besides, how can we directly grant a marriage? Wouldn’t that be too abrupt for the girl? She’s so beautiful, so wonderful, that’s not right, that’s not right at all.” Qi Haoxuan shook his head repeatedly.

Emperor: ”??”

Qi Haoxuan’s eyes started to glaze over with dreamy thoughts, ”I want to first get to know her, I want her to also fall for me, then I’ll visit her family to propose. I want her to love me for who I am, not my status or wealth.”

Emperor: ”???”

Qi Haoxuan snapped back to reality and looked at the Emperor’s dumbfounded face, asking in bewilderment, ”Royal brother, what’s wrong with you?”

”Nothing, I just think, are you still not fully awake? Or are you feverish and speaking nonsense?” The Emperor held his forehead.

”I’m dead serious! I’m really serious!” Qi Haoxuan stood up, ”Royal brother, could you help me find that girl?”

”What does that girl look like?” The Emperor was actually also curious to know which family this girl belonged to, who could enlighten his silly younger brother all at once.

”Very beautiful, extremely beautiful, the most beautiful in the world. Pretty much like a fairy.” Qi Haoxuan almost started dancing in excitement.

Emperor: ”...First, finish your dinner, tomorrow I’ll ask a painter to draw her for you.”

”No, draw her tonight.” Qi Haoxuan said anxiously, seeing the Emperor’s displeased face, he sat down again, ”Then I’ll have my dinner first, and draw afterward, okay, royal brother?”

”Alright, alright.” The Emperor once again felt like holding his forehead. This silly younger brother is just like a child of his who never grows up, what to do? What can one do, just continue indulging him.

After dinner, Qi Haoxuan urgently asked the painter to quickly draw the portrait of that girl. But after several attempts, he was never satisfied. At the last one, he sighed, ”It doesn’t even capture one-tenth of her beauty.”

The Emperor had long given up and went to rest, while Qi Haoxuan held the paintings and sighed as he walked out the door.

Early the next morning he sent people out to search, the Emperor naturally also dispatched people to look for her.

But strangely, there was no news at all. Instead, some spies from the Empire who had infiltrated the Capital City were caught.

After several days of searching, there was still no news, Qi Haoxuan was constantly sighing, restless and distracted.

One of Qi Haoxuan’s mischievous friends, another idle chap, the youngest son of Prince An, Qi Hongzhi, saw him like this and thought he couldn’t go on like this. He asked Qi Haoxuan to go hunting together. Prince An is the Emperor and Qi Haoxuan’s brother, usually well-behaved, content with the status quo. He actively carried out the Emperor’s orders. The Emperor found him agreeable, plus his youngest son Qi Hongzhi getting along well with Qi Haoxuan, making Prince An quite favored by the Emperor.

”Uncle Nineteen, shall we go out hunting to relax?” Qi Hongzhi said, approaching Qi Haoxuan who was half lying on a chair.

Qi Haoxuan didn’t respond, merely waving weakly.

”Hey, Uncle Nineteen, let me tell you, you can’t go on like this.” Qi Hongzhi spoke eloquently, but Qi Haoxuan still kept his eyes half-closed without saying a word, ”Think about it, you’re exhausting yourself, looking so haggard. What if one day you meet the girl you’ve been searching for all along? The girl is all beautiful, and when she sees you looking so worn out, it’s over, it’s over. Originally, she might develop some feelings for you, but then she looks at you, and forget it, forget it...”

While speaking, Qi Hongzhi shook his head and sighed in a dramatic manner, looking regretful.
