Medical Sage

After Chen Fei and Old Master Xuu’s quiet conversation ended, Sunx Long was fuming in a top-tier private club in Capital City. The Young Master Sunx, who’d had a brief encounter with Chen Fei that afternoon, was now so furious he could die.

The Sunx Family held vast and unparalleled power in Capital City. However, due to a major mistake in his early years, Sunx Long had lost the opportunity to enter politics. Furthermore, he despised the status of businessmen within their circle, so he became one of the few men in four generations of the Old Sunx Family who hadn’t made a name for himself in either the political or business worlds.

Despite this, his talent in martial arts and medicine was incredibly formidable. At such a young age, he had already reached the Second-class Level of an Ancient Martial Artist. He had even graduated from Qingniu Medical Valley—a Holy Land for medical arts in the northern Martial Forest—which spoke volumes of his capabilities.

Moreover, he had been particularly fortunate this time, becoming a Registered Disciple of Quan Qiusheng, Old Master Quan. This was an exceptional opportunity... With Elder Quan’s status and influence in Capital City, if he could gain his support, how could Sunx Long’s position in the Old Sunx Family not soar?

He had planned it all so perfectly. With his peerless medical talent, how could Quan Qiusheng, Old Master Quan, fail to recognize a rare gem? How could he let such a promising talent slip away without accepting him as a formal or even a Direct Disciple?

But Chen Fei’s appearance shattered his beautiful fantasy.

He was ruthlessly expelled by Quan Qiusheng, Old Master Quan, and stripped of his status as a Registered Disciple. This infuriated him to no end.

”How dare you scheme against me, you mongrel? Just you wait! This is far from over! I, Sunx Long, will make you pay!”

The more Young Master Sunx thought about it, the angrier he became. His rage burned within him, contorting his entire face with fury.

RING! RING! RING!

At that moment, his phone suddenly rang.

Sunx Long took out his phone. Seeing it was a call from his maternal grandfather, he panicked. He answered, forcing a smile, ”Hello, Grandfather, what’s up?”

”Where are you now?” A hoarse, aged voice, exceptionally authoritative, came from the other end of the line.

”I... I’m currently...” Sunx Long’s expression changed as he was about to explain.

But the person on the other end obviously had no desire to hear any explanations. He cut him off, asking coldly, ”I’ll ask you, what happened with Elder Quan? Why did he expel you?”

The two severe questions made Sunx Long acutely feel his grandfather’s dissatisfaction, leaving him extremely flustered and aggrieved.

”No, Grandfather, listen to me, about this...” Sunx Long struggled to force a smile, trying to explain.

”Enough. What’s there to explain now? You’re as hopeless as mud on a wall. Truly disappointing!”

CLICK.

His grandfather’s cold voice from the other end of the line was followed by the abrupt disconnect.

”Damn you, you old bastard…!” SMASH! An immense sense of humiliation and frustration surged through Sunx Long. He clenched his teeth, his face twisted in rage as he cursed and smashed his phone against the wall, shattering it into a pile of broken parts.

He was well aware that he wasn’t his maternal grandfather’s only grandchild, and that the old man generally placed little importance on the grandson born to his daughter. Still, he had never expected to be held in such low esteem, to be spoken to so mercilessly!

At that moment, his animosity toward his mother’s family reached a new peak. At the same time, his hostility and hatred for Chen Fei—the one who had ’personally’ caused his current predicament—grew to an overwhelming intensity.

His eyes bloodshot and vicious, Sunx Long walked to the room’s landline and dialed his cousin, Wuu Xiaojun.

”Cousin, I’m in the Human World of Celestial Sea on the fourth floor of the XXX Club. Get over here right now. I have something for you! Remember, immediately...”

He had to get revenge on the culprit who had ruined him.

Vicious revenge!
