Delta is Coming, Big Red Has Special Effects

309: Sci-fi level combat powerAt the center of the battlefield, everyone’s attention was drawn to Hafke’s disheartening fleet.

Even Zhang Ning’s death, and Chen Yu and Raven disappearing from sight, were forgotten by everyone.

Some people even accidentally dropped the guns in their hands.

Their lips trembled uncontrollably.

”Gulp—”

”Is this… Hafke’s full strength?”

”How do we fight?”

”I’m more curious, where did Hafke hide all these fighter jets and helicopters?!”

”Are there still islands missed by the search teams in this world??”

Let alone ordinary Operatives.

Even Special Operatives widened their eyes at the current display.

If they were facing Soldiers, even leaders, they wouldn’t feel helpless.

But now, Xia Country’s fleet and Hafke’s fleet appeared simultaneously from both sides.

When both were in the same frame, the difference in numbers was stark.

If the former merely covered the sky, then the latter’s appearance was undoubtedly absolute darkness.

They were not on the same scale at all.

The fleet they were once most proud of now served as a mere backdrop for Hafke.

Suddenly, several bolts of lightning streaked through the dark clouds.

Some of them struck directly into Hafke’s fleet.

Boom—!

Seeing this, the Operatives’ faces lit up with joy.

”This extreme weather greatly affects aerial combat!”

”Worst case, we abandon our aerial combat forces. With this number, if everyone foregoes aerial power, the advantage is ours!”

”No! Look closely at those fighter jets that were just struck by lightning!”

An Operative holding a pirate telescope widened his eyes and pointed to the sky.

The Operatives around him quickly took out their scopes or binoculars.

However, when they focused their lenses on the fighter jets that had just been hit by lightning, they froze in place.

Their faces contorted into extremely ugly expressions.

A bead of cold sweat traced its way down an Operative’s forehead, across his cheek, and finally to his neck.

”This isn’t scientific, is it?”

”Or is this… science?”

”Stop teasing and just tell us!”

The Operatives nearby without high-magnification scopes or binoculars looked anxious.

They couldn’t see what was happening with just red dot sights.

”See for yourselves…”

The Operatives who saw what was happening in the sky handed their scopes and binoculars to those next to them.

The latter eagerly took them and looked up at the sky.

Click—

The pirate telescope slowly dropped to the ground.

This Operative’s expression was equally incredulous.

”Lightning… lightning…”

”Lightning is charging their fighter jets?!”

”What a joke!!!”

”Even heaven is on their side?!”

”Why?!”

The Xia Country Operatives instantly erupted.

The fighter jets struck by lightning showed no signs of damage.

Instead, electricity continuously flowed through their fuselages, greatly boosting both their kinetic energy and speed.

Furthermore, some sharp-eyed Operatives noticed that above the fighter jets, there seemed to be an unclear coating that completely blocked the rain.

In contrast, on Xia Country’s side, the rain fell normally on the fuselages, but due to the speed of the aircraft, the rainwater quickly streamed backward along the body.

Although the effect of the rain was difficult to detect with the naked eye, Operatives skilled in piloting fighter jets quickly felt a subtle impact on the aircraft’s speed.

”I understand…”

”Hahaha, no wonder Hafke’s islands were so easy to capture.”

”Those vehicles, far exceeding our technological level, were simply taken into our possession.”

”Those… were just their discarded, old products…”

At these words, the despair in everyone else’s eyes deepened.

It was like having some really nice brand-name shoes.

As you proudly wore them, before you even had a chance to show off, you discovered that a child of the same age from your relative’s family had a whole villa dedicated to shoes, uninhabited, filled with even more expensive ones than yours.

You comforted yourself, thinking you wouldn’t compare yourself to him.

But later you found out that your shoes were just the ones that child had discarded.

Thump—

Thump—

Thump—

Before everyone could recover, they felt the ground shaking.

The rainwater accumulated on the ground also rippled continuously due to this vibration.

Thump—!

Thump—!

Gradually, the vibrations grew stronger, and the rainwater on the ground, which had been rippling, now began to subtly jump.

Noticing the anomaly from the ground, everyone shifted their gaze from the sky to the ground.

If the sight in the sky made them despair, then the sight of the distant ground even made some consider giving up resistance.

From all directions, the scene was dominated by blue and dark blue hues.

Hafke Soldiers, like an ocean pouring into a city, surrounded the Xia Country Operatives.

”Heh heh… heh heh heh…”

”So, I’ve appeared on the set of a sci-fi movie, have I?”

”Tell me, am I hallucinating?”

”How are we supposed to fight these hovering weapons and combat vehicles, and that batch of mechs like Pacific Rim?!”

”Damn it!!!”

Crack—

A Xia Country Operative threw his weapon to the ground.

The other Operatives did not feel any resistance due to his self-abandonment.

Instead, they fully understood his feelings.

”Even if Hafke brought some Transformers, I wouldn’t be surprised at all now.”

”I even think it would be a bit cheap.”

”Heh, look over there, the Iron Man army has arrived too.”

This Operative laughed and shook his head, also throwing his gun to the ground.

”If I’d known Hafke had this kind of power, what was the point of fighting?”

”Might as well just wait to die.”

More and more people in the crowd gave up resistance.

It wasn’t that they were scared, nor that they lacked the courage to fight to the death.

It was that they realized that resistance was meaningless.

The strength of both sides was not on the same level at all.

Not to mention the Soldiers in the distance who looked genetically modified.

And regardless of those Iron Man Soldiers flying in the sky, wearing mechs.

Just those few hundred-meter-tall giant mechs.

How to fight them?

What to fight them with?

Bang—!

Ten thousand meters away, a lightning-imbued bullet pierced through the falling rain and shot straight into the sky.

Boom—!

A Hafke fighter jet instantly exploded at this moment!

At the same time, Lin Han’s loitering munition launcher had already locked onto dozens of fighter jets in the sky.

”What are you still standing around for?!”

”No matter how awesome their technology is, our weapons aren’t just for show!”

”Get out all your loitering munitions!”

”Don’t worry about accuracy now, just blast away!”

”What are you all waiting for?!”

”Fire!!!!”
