Delta is Coming, Big Red Has Special Effects

126: Too many people, hard to rememberJust last night, Liu Yan specifically messaged the Old Man at the Recycling Stall, asking him to prepare several sets of Level 5 gear, fully modified M250s, and the best surgical kits and blood bags.

As brothers who had fought together for so long, how could Liu Yan not see Fuji’s worries?

It was just that some things were indeed hard to bring up directly.

The speaker has no intention, but the listener takes it to heart.

In fact, for Liu Yan, even if Fuji did nothing, he would never abandon Fuji, let alone despise him.

After all, compared to his father, Cai Ning, Fuji had truly surpassed him... Ordinary Longbow Stream Valley.

Bang—bang—bang bang bang—!

As soon as he landed, Liu Yan skillfully began to signal.

Longbow Stream Valley was too large, and it was difficult to make all the Soldiers hear him.

Fortunately, the Soldiers had helmets that amplified their hearing, so Liu Yan standing in the middle of Longbow Stream Valley allowed most of the Soldiers to hear him.

Soon, footsteps came from all directions.

Seeing that it was Liu Yan, the leading Soldiers extended his hand, signaling the Soldiers behind him to lower their weapons.

“It’s the boss!”

Since the merger, more people would signal in the operational areas.

So, as long as they heard the signal, the Soldiers would gather, and if it wasn’t Liu Yan, they would be shot on the spot.

Liu Yan looked in the direction of the figures; at this moment, more than ten Soldiers were rapidly running towards him.

After arriving in front of Liu Yan, all the Soldiers stood still, looking as if they were waiting for orders.

This made Liu Yan feel a bit awkward.

He still preferred the casual demeanor of the Asala Soldiers.

“1, 2, 3? Long time no see.”

Liu Yan recognized the three Soldiers at the very front at a glance.

They were the first three Soldiers he had conquered during the Sniper Elite Competition.

“The ones behind are 2650, 2651, 2652, right?”

“And 8765, 8766, 8767?”

“There are too many people now, it’s hard to remember, so don’t mind if I get it wrong; you wouldn’t remember them either if you were in my shoes.”

Liu Yan rubbed his temples.

But Liu Yan’s seemingly casual greeting made all the Soldiers freeze in place, looking at each other.

Their numbers were covered by their chest rigs.

This meant that Liu Yan remembered each of their numbers purely from memory.

What kind of difficulty was that? Even with only a hundred people, trying to remember them by number was not easy.

Moreover, after Liu Yan saw them once, he might not see them again for who knows how long!

At this moment, the Soldiers had only one thought in their minds.

Swear to follow Liu Yan to the death!

“8765, 8766, 8767, take off your gear and put these on.”

Liu Yan took out three sets of Level 5 gear and three fully modified m14 marksman rifles from the powerful vacuum cleaner.

“All six sets have been given out; for now, just make do with five sets, after all, they are much more durable than your four sets.”

The three Soldiers stepped forward, looking at the brand-new Level 5 suits, then at the smiling Liu Yan.

Even two-meter-tall burly men couldn’t help but feel a lump in their throats when facing such a leader.

“Yes, sir!”

The three Soldiers quickly took off their chest rigs and Level 4 helmets, changing into the Level 5 suits.

“1000 rounds of Level 5 bullets, use them sparingly.”

Liu Yan also distributed the bullets to the three Soldiers.

Actually, with the military information terminal, Liu Yan could have directly sent equipment to the Soldiers through the black hole.

But it’s hard to keep things fair even with one bowl of water, let alone tens of thousands?

Liu Yan found it difficult to decide who to give to first and who to give to later.

He could only randomly select Soldiers whose equipment had not yet been updated during each process of conquering them.

“One weapon, one infantry fighting vehicle model. I’ll teach you how to drive them later. Then, three people come and bring back three brothers.”

Liu Yan handed the weapon model and infantry fighting vehicle model to Soldier No. 1.

“Yes, sir!”

The three Soldiers who had just changed into their gear rushed off into the distance.

In less than a minute, three Soldiers, shouting various threats, were struggling as they were carried back.

“wuxidixi!”

Following the usual procedure, after the conquest, even before the Soldiers could speak, three sets of Level 5 gear and fully modified weapons were thrown in front of them.

“Take these five sets for now; if conditions permit, I’ll gradually replace them with six sets for you.”

The three Soldiers exchanged glances, all seeing the shock in each other’s eyes.

“Thank you, boss!”

The three, flattered, put on the equipment.

Their original Level 1 helmets and Level 2 armor were directly tossed aside.

What garbage!

“You three should be... 45631, 45632, 45633, right?”

The three were startled at first, then nodded.

“Yes, sir!”

Looking at these Soldiers, even Liu Yan couldn’t help but feel a little emotional.

Before, he, Brother Ji, and Zhao Chuang, using an assembly line method to conquer Soldiers, were much slower.

Since having the powerful vacuum cleaner, there was no need to consider financial issues, and the number of Soldiers increased much faster.

If he completely disregarded Soldier equipment, Liu Yan could come in, conquer three, die and leave, and repeat the process.

It wouldn’t be difficult for the current number of Soldiers to reach 200,000, or even more.

But that wasn’t what Liu Yan wanted.

If the Soldiers were just like before, like machines, Liu Yan might have done that.

After all, quantitative change can also lead to qualitative change.

If 200,000 isn’t enough, what about a million, ten million?

If they sprayed Level 1 bullets like water, who would dare to take it?

Just the impact force of bullets hitting armor, at this quantity, would be enough to shake people to death.

Not to mention getting an arm or leg grazed twice.

Anyone would be instantly killed.

But after the Soldiers were conquered, they all gained self-awareness.

That completely changed the meaning.

They weren’t machines, nor were they minions, AI, or mobs in a game.

They were living, breathing people!

Originally, they might not even feel pain, only knew to curse and chase people, shoot, until death.

But now, with consciousness, they knew pain, and would feel insecure because of their poor equipment.

Yet, even so, they still had the courage to fight, to die.

But for Liu Yan, that was an irresponsible act as a leader.

As the leader who granted them consciousness, Liu Yan could not bring himself to let them use the worst equipment to be cannon fodder.

In Liu Yan’s eyes, these Soldiers’ importance was second only to Fuji and Zhao Chuang.

“1, 2, 3, teach them tactical movements later.”

“Then, the weakest among you, come and learn how to drive the weapon and infantry fighting vehicle with me.”

“It’s very simple; you’ll learn it with one lesson.”

The Soldiers looked at each other, none willing to admit they were the weakest.

They knew Liu Yan’s purpose in doing this.

The weakest person had the highest probability of death; if they drove the weapon and infantry fighting vehicle, casualties would be minimized.

The overall combat effectiveness could also be maximized.

But, with the boss standing right in front of them, how could they possibly admit it?

“Hurry up, I don’t have much time. If no one steps forward, then 45631, 45632, and 45633 will drive the main weapon.”

“Then, I need three more to drive the infantry fighting vehicle.”

Hearing that Liu Yan didn’t have much time, the three Soldiers lowered their heads in discouragement, reluctantly taking a step forward.

Looking at the Soldiers’ reactions, Liu Yan felt a bit speechless.

No, it’s driving a weapon! An infantry fighting vehicle!

Shouldn’t they be scrambling to drive them?

Why did it seem like such a bad chore here?
