Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 856: Chapter 855: Devil King Substitute Teacher (Part 3)

With the casual support of the carefree principal, Li Yan finally succeeded and was about to become Gu Tong’s substitute teacher for today’s course.

In fact, Huang Zhizhong exaggeratedly escorted Li Yan to the classroom, as if he was eager to listen to him teach.

Gu Tong followed behind them, thoroughly confused by their antics, feeling that the world seemed a bit fantastical.

Fortunately, she thought, her elective course didn’t have many students, as long as things were managed well, not too many issues would arise.

With such thoughts, they finally arrived at the classroom door.

’Squeak--’

The door to the classroom was opened.

The three of them walked into the classroom one after another, and Gu Tong glanced at the students’ seats, only to see a crowd, already fully occupied.

”...” She blinked twice to confirm, almost wondering if she hadn’t slept well and was seeing things so early in the morning...

”Didn’t you say there weren’t many students?” Li Yan raised an eyebrow in confusion, seriously doubting if his little woman had a strange understanding of the word ”not many.”

”...” How should she know...

No one knew what got into these students today, why they all flocked to her classroom...

Gu Tong rolled her eyes, scanned the classroom, and finally spotted a familiar figure.

It was none other than Sheng Yiweng, who had been fervently expressing his admiration for Gu Tong on the first day of class.

”Why so many people?”

Dropping a straightforward question, Sheng Yiweng wasn’t fazed; he grinned and said, ”The teacher teaches so well that they’re all here for your fame.”

”...” Is there any way to play happily, Gu Tong covered her forehead and said, ”Speak plainly...”

”Yesterday, this elective course had its credit value changed, from a percentage-based credit system to one where you earn one hundred and two points, twenty more than other courses.”

Sheng Yiweng shrugged and continued, ”Nowadays, it’s tough to pass exams and everyone is trying to get scores, so an extra twenty points is like freshly baked pastry, hotly desired.”

”...” Originally she thought that stuffing in some connected students yesterday was the school’s biggest act of kindness.

But who would have thought they went above and beyond, even considering raising credits as a tactic.

This kind of recruitment strategy is simply silver-haired benefits.

If this group of students wasn’t tempted, that would be quite unbelievable.

”So teacher, in summary, these are the students you dislike the most.”

”Hmm?” Gu Tong raised an eyebrow.

”The ones just here for the credits.” Sheng Yiweng flashed his pearly whites.

Remember, just on the first day of class, Gu Tong proudly stated, ’Here just for the credits? These three elective courses are definitely not something you can pass by muddling through, because your teacher is me!’

Retribution came too fast, like a sudden tornado.

The school directly stuffed a classroom full of students seeking credits, making Gu Tong not have a moment of ease or concern, and they just appeared like that...

Gu Tong was almost about to spit blood.

”Teacher, you’re seasoned, this small matter absolutely won’t trouble you; bring out your past experience, and you’ll surely defeat this group of demons~”

Sheng Yiweng wasn’t bothered by the chaos; he clenched his fist to make an encouraging gesture, looking entirely confident in his teacher.

Gu Tong’s mouth twitched twice, and she said, ”When I was in school! I encountered many challenges, guess how I solved them?”

”How did you solve them?” Sheng Yiweng was somewhat expectant, even more curious to know how the teacher he admired faced past challenges from other instructors, which was never an easy feat.

”By skipping class!”

Sheng Yiweng: ”...”
