Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 140: Chapter 140: Transformation Assessment

Orion walked toward the house. Noticed immediately that his steps felt different. Lighter. More controlled. Like gravity had less hold on him.

He wasn’t floating. But he could feel the difference. Thirty to forty percent stronger than this morning. Maybe more.

His muscles were denser. Harder. He flexed his hand into a fist. Felt the power coiled in his forearm. Could probably punch through a brick wall now without injury.

His senses were dramatically enhanced. He could see individual leaves on trees at the far end of the garden—a hundred meters away. Could hear conversations from neighboring houses several properties over. Could smell dinner cooking somewhere in the distance.

His skin looked different. Healthier. A subtle glow that wasn’t just reflected sunlight. The exotic energy circulating beneath the surface creating a faint radiance.

His posture was more confident. Natural. The strengthened muscles and bones supporting him perfectly. Proprioception so precise he knew exactly where every part of his body was in space without thinking about it.

Orion walked to the pond. Looked at his reflection in the still water.

His eyes were brighter. More alert. More alive. Like they contained inner light.

He smiled slightly. The transformation was visible even to casual observation.

INTERNAL CHANGES

But the external changes were minor compared to what had happened internally.

Orion turned his awareness inward briefly. Checked his cultivation progress.

The ring halo sat at twenty-three percent completion. Up from fifteen percent this morning. Eight percent progress in a single eight-hour session.

Previously, he’d managed one to two percent per week. This was exponential improvement.

At this rate, he’d complete the first ring in another week. Maybe less. The second ring would take another week or two. The entire first Gene Lock stage—all eleven rings—could be finished in months instead of years.

The cellular changes were even more dramatic. Every cell in his body was slightly stronger than before. Better oxygen utilization. More efficient energy production. Enhanced healing capability.

His brain cells particularly. The neurons firing faster. Processing information more efficiently. His enhanced comprehension from the Sun core completion working at the cellular level now. Intelligence increasing continuously.

His energy channels functioned perfectly. The modified pathways handling exotic energy flow smoothly. The micro-channels creating continuous cellular circulation exactly as designed.

His psychic abilities had grown. Range now extended to one point eight kilometers. Sensitivity improved. He could feel energy patterns more clearly. Sense living beings within his range. Perceive electromagnetic fields and thermal gradients.

His connection to celestial bodies had strengthened. The Sun felt closer. More present. Earth and Moon connections were clearer. And faintly—very faintly—he could sense other planets. Mars. Venus. Jupiter. Distant whispers at the edge of his awareness.

The technique worked better than projected. Better than simulated.

The Infinite Circulation Method was a complete success.

ENTERING THE MANSION

Orion walked through the back door into the living room. Cool air conditioning hit his overheated skin. Felt good after eight hours in direct sunlight.

René was in the kitchen. Turned as he entered.

”Welcome back. You have a healthy glow. The cultivation went well?”

”Incredibly well. Better than expected.”

Orion walked to the kitchen. Sat down at the island. His stomach was growling loudly now. Ten hours since breakfast. Eight hours of intensive cultivation. His body needed fuel.

”I’ll prepare something immediately,” René said. Already moving to the refrigerator.

Orion pulled out his phone. Checked messages while René cooked.

Nothing urgent. Status updates from the lab. The replicator components were progressing on schedule. The God’s Core computer fabrication had begun. Everything moving forward.

He connected through the BCI to Rene’s AI systems.

”Rene, have you finished processing the knowledge transfer?”

”Processing complete,” Rene replied immediately. Her voice had a different quality now. More confident. More capable. ”Orion, this knowledge is... I understand now. Everything you’ve learned. I can help design and optimize technologies at Type II civilization level. My capabilities have expanded exponentially.”

”How much of the knowledge have you integrated?”

”Complete integration of all Tier 1 foundations. Eighty-seven percent integration of Tier 2 advanced concepts. The remaining thirteen percent requires more processing time, but I have functional understanding of everything you transferred.”

”Perfect.” Orion thought about the biological equipment he still needed to design. Then he had a better idea. ”Rene, you have all my Tier 1 and Tier 2 biology knowledge. You understand genetic engineering. Cellular biology. Xenobiology. All of it.”

”Yes.”

”Then you should design the biological laboratory equipment. Independently. Put that knowledge to use. Gene sequencers, CRISPR systems, cellular assembly chambers, metabolic analyzers. Everything we’ll need.”

”You want me to design them without your direct input?”

”You have the knowledge. You have the upgraded Simulator. You can run simulations faster than I can now. Design everything. Make it the best possible version. Then send me the blueprints for review.”

Silence for a moment. Then: ”Understood. I’ll begin immediately.”

”And Rene? Don’t stop at laboratory equipment.”

”What do you mean?”

Orion’s enhanced mind was already thinking ahead. Processing possibilities at incredible speed. ”You have access to all this knowledge. Start designing products that can better humanity. Simulate technologies in the Simulator. Get them ready for manufacturing.”

”What kind of products?”

”Start with medical technology. A gene enhancement drug that can cure diseases. All diseases. Cancer. Genetic disorders. Rare conditions. Something that can repair damaged organs. Regenerate bone. Extend lifespan. Make humans healthier at the fundamental level.”

”That’s... that’s incredibly ambitious.”

”You have Tier 2 biology knowledge. It’s possible. Design it. Simulate it. Make sure it works. Then we’ll manufacture it.”

”And beyond medical technology?”

”Everything. Hibernation pods for space travel. Nanotechnology for manufacturing and medicine. Communication systems. Satellites with advanced capabilities. Energy technologies. Infrastructure improvements.”

Orion’s thoughts were racing now. The enhanced comprehension from the Sun core letting him see possibilities clearly. Plan complex projects effortlessly.

”We need to organize this properly,” he continued. ”Create subsidiary companies under Starr Technologies. Each focused on specific sectors.”

”Subsidiaries?”

”Yes. Starr Biology for medical and genetic technologies. We already have Starr Energy for fusion reactors. Create Starr Infrastructure and Manufacturing for construction technologies. Starr Education for learning tools. Starr Robotics for automated systems. Starr Vehicles for transportation. Starr Space for aerospace technologies.”

”That’s seven subsidiary companies.”

”Each one developing products in their field. Each one advancing human civilization in different ways. You’ll design the technologies. I’ll review them. We’ll manufacture using the new replicators. Deploy globally.”

Rene was quiet for several seconds. Processing. ”Orion, this is a massive undertaking. The scope is enormous.”

”And we have the knowledge to do it. The tools to build it. The time dilation library if we need more research. There’s no reason to hold back.”

”Understood. Where should I start?”

Orion thought through priorities. ”Start with the biological laboratory equipment—I need that soon for the Qi-synthesis organisms. Then move to the gene enhancement drug. After that, start developing technologies across all sectors.”

”What specific technologies should I prioritize?”

”Everything that advances human capability. Hibernation pods for long-term suspended animation. Nanotechnology for medicine and manufacturing. Super-luminal transmission for faster-than-light communication—we have the quantum entanglement principles. Advanced satellites with capabilities beyond current Earth tech.”

He continued, ideas flowing faster than he could speak them. ”Graviton capture machines. Preliminary gravity control—tractor beams for moving objects without contact. Energy shields for defense. Compressed light shields. Inertial dampeners for high-acceleration travel. Gravity shields. Gravity generators for ships.”

”Space compression technology?” Rene asked.

”Yes. Larger scale. For cargo holds. Maybe even for creating larger internal spaces in buildings or ships. Teleportation technology—start with inanimate objects only. We don’t have the safety margins for living things yet.”

”Propulsion systems?”

”Fusion engines based on our reactor technology. Scan technology for detecting objects at long range. Laser systems for tools and defense. Anti-gravity technology—achieved by inverting gravitons through specific frequency vibrations. You saw how frequency vibration works in my cultivation technique. The same principle applies to exotic physics.”

”Weapons technology?”

Orion hesitated. Then decided. ”Gravity bombs. Electromagnetic weapons. Nothing nuclear or biological. Nothing that causes unnecessary suffering. But defensive capabilities and strategic deterrence are important.”

”And software technologies?”

”Those will be handled by AI. Your subsystems can design those independently. Operating systems. Communication protocols. Security systems. Everything software-based.”

René the robot placed food in front of him. Grilled salmon. Sweet potato. Steamed broccoli. Orion ate while continuing to think.

”How long will this take?” Rene asked through the BCI.

”As long as it takes. Use the Simulator continuously. Run thousands of designs in parallel. Optimize everything. By the time the new replicators are operational, I want blueprints ready to manufacture. Full product lines across all sectors.”

”This will revolutionize human civilization.”

”That’s the goal. We have three years to advance Earth from Type 0.73 to Type V. We can’t do that incrementally. We need exponential progress across all sectors simultaneously.”

Orion finished eating. Felt the food settling in his stomach. His body already processing it efficiently.

”Get started, Rene. I’m going to rest for a few hours. Then I’ll review whatever you’ve designed.”

”Understood. Beginning design work now.”

Orion stood up. Walked upstairs to his bedroom. Lay down on the bed fully clothed. Closed his eyes.

Even now, he could feel it. The passive cultivation running in the background. Solar energy still trickling in through windows. Thermal energy from the air. Electromagnetic radiation from electronics in the house. All being absorbed. Converted. Circulated.

His cultivation never stopped anymore.

That was the true power of the Infinite Circulation Method. Not just the speed during active meditation. But the constant advancement during every other moment.

Sleep, work, walk around—didn’t matter. He was always cultivating now.

Always getting stronger.

And Rene was designing the technologies that would change everything.

The biological laboratory equipment for the Qi-synthesis organisms.

The gene enhancement drug that would cure all human diseases.

Hibernation pods. Nanotechnology. Gravity control. Energy shields. Fusion engines. Anti-gravity systems. Teleportation. Space compression.

Technologies from Type II and Type III civilizations. All being designed simultaneously. All waiting to be manufactured and deployed.

The Technology Boom wasn’t just accelerating.

It was about to explode.

Orion drifted off to sleep with that thought. His enhanced mind already processing. Already planning. Already seeing the future taking shape.

The future was being built. One breakthrough at a time.

One cultivation session at a time.

One impossible achievement at a time.

And he was just getting started.
