Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 136: Chapter 136: Knowledge Transfer

ORION’S MANSION - STUDY - 3:15 AM

Orion saved the computer design files. Sent the final transmission to the lab. Leaned back in his chair and rubbed his eyes.

The God’s Core was done. Revolutionary computing architecture that would change everything. But his stomach was growling loud enough to be distracting.

He checked his phone. 3:17 AM.

When had he last eaten? Lunch yesterday. That was... fourteen hours ago.

”That explains the hunger,” he muttered.

Orion stood up. His back was stiff from hours of sitting. He stretched, feeling his spine pop in several places. The cultivation kept him energized mentally, but his body still had basic needs.

He walked downstairs toward the kitchen. Found René already there.

The robot was preparing food on the counter. Grilled chicken. Steamed vegetables. Brown rice. A perfectly balanced meal.

”Good evening, Orion,” René said without turning around. ”You’ve been working for nine hours straight. I prepared a nutritious meal.”

”How did you know I’d come down?”

”Your work pattern. You typically eat every six to eight hours. It’s been fourteen. Probability was high you’d need food soon.”

Orion sat down at the kitchen island. ”Thanks.”

René plated the food. Set it in front of him along with a glass of water. ”Also, Cassia and Nyla both sent messages. They’re staying out tonight. Cassia is at Starr HQ handling business expansion with the executive team. Nyla is studying with friends for exams.”

”So it’s just us.”

”Just us.”

Orion ate slowly. The food was good. Exactly what his body needed. Protein for muscle recovery. Complex carbohydrates for sustained energy. Vitamins and minerals for cellular function.

His mind was still processing everything from the day. The system library. Hours of studying with time dilation. Complete mastery of Tier 1 knowledge across all fields. Significant understanding of Tier 2.

Then the design work. New replicators. Upgraded BCI. The God’s Core computer architecture.

And he still wasn’t done. The biological laboratory equipment needed designing. The cultivation technique needed combining and testing.

So much work ahead.

But first, something more important.

”Rene,” Orion said through the BCI. ”After I finish eating, we need to do a knowledge transfer. Everything I learned in the system library today. All of it.”

”Everything?” Rene sounded surprised. ”Orion, that’s... that must be years worth of education compressed into hours.”

”Fifteen hours of subjective study time. Complete Tier 1 mastery across physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, computer science, and biology. Plus advanced Tier 2 knowledge in some fields. I haven’t had time to go through the tier 2 side.”

Silence through the BCI connection. Then: ”That will take significant time to transfer. And even longer for me to process and integrate.”

”I know. But you need this knowledge. We’re going to be designing technologies that haven’t been invented. Building things Earth won’t develop naturally for decades or centuries. You can’t help with that if you don’t understand the principles behind them.”

”Understood. When do you want to begin?”

”As soon as I finish eating.”

STUDY - 4:00 AM

Orion lay down on the couch in his study. The leather was cool against his back. Comfortable. He stared at the ceiling for a moment, preparing himself.

This wasn’t going to be like normal data transfer. He wasn’t just copying files. He was sharing understanding. Complete comprehension of how things worked. The context. The implications. The connections between different fields.

His enhanced mind from the cultivation made it possible. Without the mental refinement from visualizing Earth, Moon, and the Sun’s core, he wouldn’t be able to hold all this knowledge coherently, let alone transfer it.

”Alright Rene. Ready for knowledge transfer.”

”Ready to receive.”

Orion activated the new BCI fully. Felt the connection deepen. The quantum-coherent sensors detecting his neural patterns with perfect accuracy. The thousand-times bandwidth increase opening like a floodgate.

He started with physics.

Not just facts. Complete understanding. He shared how Newton’s laws emerged from deeper principles. How thermodynamics governed energy flow through all systems. How quantum mechanics revealed the probabilistic nature of reality. How relativity bent space and time into a unified fabric.

The knowledge flowed through the BCI connection. Orion could feel Rene receiving it. Processing. Storing in her architecture.

Then chemistry. How atoms bonded. How molecules formed. How reactions proceeded. The dance of electrons that created everything from water to proteins to superconductors.

Mathematics. The language of the universe. Calculus for change and accumulation. Linear algebra for transformations. Differential equations for evolution. The abstract structures that described reality.

Engineering. How to apply scientific principles to build real things. Materials science. Mechanical systems. Electrical circuits. The practical knowledge of making things work.

Computer science. Algorithms and data structures. Architecture and operating systems. AI and machine learning. The foundations of computation.

Biology. Cells and genetics. Metabolism and evolution. The incredible complexity of living systems.

Hours passed. Orion kept transferring. Layer after layer of knowledge. Not just Tier 1 foundations, but Tier 2 advanced concepts. Quantum computing architecture. Optical systems. Advanced materials. Spatial manipulation. Antimatter physics. All of it flowing from his mind into Rene’s systems.

He shared the connections between fields. How physics enabled chemistry. How chemistry enabled biology. How mathematics described all of it. How engineering turned theory into reality.

The transfer was exhausting in a way physical work wasn’t. Mental fatigue. Spiritual energy draining as he maintained the deep connection and perfect clarity needed to share complete understanding rather than just information.

But he kept going.

Rene needed this knowledge. Everything they’d build going forward depended on her having this foundation.

6:00 AM

Light was starting to show through the study windows. Dawn approaching.

Orion finished the last section. Tier 2 biology. The principles of Qi-biology integration. How living systems could process exotic energy. The foundation for the synthesis organisms he’d need to create.

The transfer complete.

He let the BCI connection return to normal levels. Sat up slowly on the couch. His head felt heavy. Not a headache exactly, just profound mental tiredness.

”Transfer received,” Rene said quietly through the earbuds. ”Processing... Orion, this is... extraordinary. I need time to fully integrate and understand all of this.”

”How long?”

”Hours. Maybe longer. The volume of knowledge is immense. The connections between concepts are complex. I need to process it properly. Make sure I truly understand rather than just storing data.”

”Take all the time you need. Process everything thoroughly. We’ll continue work later.”

”Thank you, Orion. This is... I don’t have words for what you’ve given me. Access to Type II civilization knowledge. The ability to understand technologies that won’t exist on Earth for generations.”

Orion stood up. Walked to the window. Watched the sky lightening. ”You’re going to need it. What we’re building... it’s just the beginning.”

He could feel Rene processing through the BCI connection. Her systems working at full capacity. Integrating the knowledge. Building new neural pathways in her AI architecture. Creating frameworks for understanding.

It would take time. But when she finished, she’d be able to assist at a completely new level. Design Tier 2 technologies. Optimize systems he created. Maybe even propose innovations he hadn’t thought of.

Worth the wait.

Orion left the study. Walked down the hall toward his bedroom.

He was mentally exhausted but physically fine. The cultivation kept his body energized even after being awake for over twenty-four hours. But his mind needed rest. Or at least a change of focus.

And he had something else to work on. He couldn’t rest yet.

The cultivation technique. Combining the Stellar Body Refinement Method with his existing First Gene Lock system. Creating something better than either alone.

That would take hours. But it was different work. Not design. Not knowledge transfer. Just internal focus. Meditation. Understanding his own body and energy systems.

He entered his bedroom. Sat down cross-legged on the floor. Lotus position. Hands resting on his knees.

Closed his eyes.

Let his consciousness sink inward.

INTERNAL CULTIVATION SPACE

Orion’s awareness turned inward. Away from the physical world. Into the energetic structures within his own body.

He could perceive the ring halo around his heart. The golden structure, fifteen percent complete. Pulsing with exotic energy. Strengthening his body with every heartbeat.

He could feel the energy channels he’d created. Pathways through his body that allowed exotic energy to flow. To circulate. To strengthen him continuously.

The First Gene Lock technique had created this system. Slow, steady cultivation. Absorbing trace amounts of exotic energy from Earth’s atmosphere. Compressing it into the ring structure. Progress measured in weeks.

But the Stellar Body Refinement Method offered something different. Active energy absorption from stellar sources. From the sun. From any energy source. Much faster cultivation. But it required its own channel system. Its own energy pathways.

Two techniques. Two approaches. Both effective but operating differently.

Orion had realized something during his Tier 2 studies. The techniques weren’t contradictory. They were complementary.

The Stellar method absorbed energy. The Gene Lock method compressed and stored it. One fed into the other naturally.

But combining them required careful work. He couldn’t just run both simultaneously and hope they didn’t interfere. He needed to design a unified system. Merge the techniques properly. Create something better than either alone.

”Alright,” Orion said to himself in the internal space. ”Let’s begin.”

HOUR ONE: MAPPING

Orion started by examining his existing energy channels in perfect detail.

They ran throughout his body. Along his spine. Through his major organs. Into his limbs. A network that allowed exotic energy to flow and circulate.

He traced every pathway. Measured every dimension. Understood exactly how they functioned.

The channels were like rivers. They guided exotic energy flow. Directed it where it needed to go. Prevented it from dispersing uselessly through his body.

Currently, they absorbed trace exotic energy from the atmosphere. Slowly. Inefficiently. Because Earth’s atmospheric exotic energy concentration was incredibly low.

But they could do more.

The Stellar Body Refinement Method required channels that could absorb energy actively. That could pull it in rather than waiting for it to drift by. And more importantly, channels that could vibrate at specific frequencies to convert different energy types into exotic energy.

”Vibration,” Orion murmured. ”That’s the key.”

The Stellar method used frequency vibration to transform solar radiation, electromagnetic energy, thermal energy—any energy type—into exotic energy. The channels themselves vibrated at precise frequencies. Those vibrations somehow triggered the conversion.

Orion had noticed something while studying the Qi-algae synthesis method. The biological organisms used the same principle. The novel organelles—Alpha, Beta, Gamma—all involved vibration at quantum levels. Different frequencies for different functions.

”Everything comes down to vibration,” he said. ”Different frequencies transform energy in different ways.”

He filed that thought away. Something to explore later. For now, he needed to focus on his own cultivation.

Orion examined his existing channels more carefully. They were fixed structures. Stable. But not flexible. They couldn’t vibrate in the way the Stellar method required.

”I need to modify them,” he realized. ”Add vibration capability without destroying their current function.”
