Journey to Become the Zenith

The Girl Who Followed Through Eternity

??? POV of lonely girl who see his beloved many life’s

The stars above the endless void shimmered like scattered tears across black silk.

Countless worlds drifted silently beneath her feet.

Some burned brightly before collapsing into ash.

Some froze into lifeless ruins.

Some were swallowed by wars, greed, ambition, and despair.

Yet through every era...

through every universe...

through every cycle of death and rebirth...

she continued watching only one person.

A lonely girl stood within that endless darkness.

Her silver-white hair flowed gently despite the absence of wind, reaching all the way down to her thighs. Pale blue eyes stared quietly toward the countless fragments of memories floating around her like broken mirrors.

Within those fragments—

she saw him again.

Always him.

Always the same soul.

Always walking forward alone.

A faint smile touched her lips before sadness quietly swallowed it.

”I have watched over you when you were still Adam.”

Her soft voice echoed gently throughout the void.

There was longing within it.

Love.

Regret.

And unbearable loneliness.

After the death of Adam I have tied my soul to yours. I who have cursed the Gods, reincarnate with you.

The moment she spoke those words, countless memories surged around her.

A battlefield drowned in holy flames.

A vampire emperor standing atop mountains of corpses.

A blue-eyed swordsman smiling quietly beneath snowfall.

A dragon-blooded warrior screaming in rage while burning armies turned into ashes.

A winged king standing beneath a blood-red sky.

And finally—

a young man with golden eyes staring silently toward the heavens as if questioning fate itself.

Adam, Azrial Runious, Rein, Mayank, Eddy, and now Kevin.

I have witnessed all of these reincarnations of yours.

The girl’s trembling fingers reached toward the floating memories.

Every incarnation carried different emotions.

Different lives.

Different dreams.

Different tragedies.

Yet no matter how much they changed...

their souls remained the same.

The same warmth.

The same loneliness hidden behind strength.

The same unbearable kindness that always led them toward suffering.

Tears slowly gathered within her eyes.

”Adam...”

The first memory illuminated brightly before her.

A young man with long black hair and golden eyes stood beneath the light of a burning sunset. White robes fluttered around him while blood dripped from the sword in his hand.

Countless monsters surrounded him.

Yet he still smiled gently toward the frightened civilians behind him.

Adam, he was a reincarnation, who truly deserved the title ”true hero”. He fought for the world and his beloved.

The girl remembered him clearly.

He had been human.

Purely human.

No divine bloodline.

No overwhelming destiny.

Yet he challenged gods themselves for the sake of others.

Even at the very end...

when holy spears pierced through his chest...

he smiled.

Not because he was unafraid.

But because he had protected what mattered to him.

The girl’s lips trembled.

”I hated them for taking you away from me...”

A pulse of dark mana spread briefly through the void around her.

Hatred.

Ancient and endless.

She had cursed the Gods that day.

And for that sin...

she too became trapped within reincarnation.

The next memory emerged.

Blood-red moonlight illuminated a throne made of black crystal.

A man sat upon it lazily while countless corpses surrounded him.

Azrial Runious.

The Vampire Emperor.

The Blood Monarch.

Long black hair cascaded over his shoulders while crimson eyes glowed with terrifying intensity. His black imperial coat fluttered lightly as he laughed toward an army charging at him.

Azrial Runious, he was a reincarnation, who truly loved to battle.

The girl closed her eyes slowly.

That life...

had been chaotic.

Violent.

Wild.

He journeyed through numerous worlds, numerous battlefields, searching for a worthy opponent.

She remembered following him through endless wars.

Kingdoms feared him.

Heroes challenged him.

Even dragons avoided provoking him.

Yet despite all the bloodshed—

Azrial had never once harmed the innocent.

He only sought worthy battles.

Nothing more.

Nothing less.

He was one who walks toward the beginnings end.

Even though he had no intention, he was named a ”war hero.”

The girl smiled faintly through her tears.

”You used to laugh every time they called you a hero...”

Another memory appeared.

Snow.

Silence.

Blue eyes colder than winter itself.

Rein stood alone atop a cliff overlooking countless graves.

His long black hair swayed gently in the wind.

Unlike Azrial’s burning arrogance—

Rein carried quiet exhaustion.

Rein, a reincarnation that inherited Chaos and Serenity.

He was someone who never wanted to battle, yet was greatly skilled at killing.

The girl remembered his eyes most clearly.

Those blue eyes always looked tired.

As if he had already lived too long.

As if the world itself had become exhausting.

He was searching for a place to die.

The girl’s chest tightened painfully.

She remembered following him through ruined villages and battlefields.

Everywhere he went—

people were saved.

Not because he wanted glory.

But because he simply couldn’t ignore suffering.

In his search for a place to die, he instead had found many to save, he was called a ”hero.”

The girl laughed weakly.

”Aren’t you cruel...?”

”You always save everyone except yourself...”

The next memory burned violently.

Flames.

Dragons.

War cries.

Mayank stood amidst an ocean of corpses with golden eyes glowing like raging suns.

Dragon scales partially covered his arms while black flames devoured the battlefield around him.

Unlike Rein—

Mayank burned with rage.

Pure rage.

Mayank, this was a reincarnation that sought vengeance.

He was caught up between the war of humans and bad spirits.

Due to his anger he killed many bad spirits and in the end killed the spirit lord.

The girl’s expression darkened painfully.

That life...

was the one she hated most.

Not because Mayank was weak.

But because he suffered endlessly.

Betrayal.

Loss.

War.

Every step of his life had been soaked in hatred.

Yet even after killing the spirit lord—

Mayank never found peace.

He only became emptier.

He was forever loved as the ”hero of the humans.”

The girl whispered softly.

”But nobody asked if you wanted to become one...”

The memory shattered.

Then came another.

Bright skies.

Gigantic wings spreading across the heavens.

Eddy floated above countless warriors while radiant golden eyes stared toward the horizon.

He looked freer than all his previous incarnations.

Eddy, a reincarnation that kept his previous reincarnation Mayank’s memories.

Deeply regretting his decision of killing the spirit lord and living only for revenge, he promised to live a more fufilling life by becoming the strongest.

This time...

he smiled more.

The girl remembered that clearly.

Eddy laughed often.

Protected people openly.

Traveled the world without hatred consuming him.

During the so called purge of non-humans. Eddy led a group of heroes, and defeated the enemy leader.

He was hailed as ”the greatest hero.”

The girl slowly lowered her head.

”...And yet you still died alone.”

The void trembled slightly.

Countless reincarnations.

Countless endings.

No matter what world he entered...

he always sacrificed himself for others.

Always walked ahead alone.

Always carried burdens nobody else could see.

Then—

the final memory appeared.

The largest one.

The clearest one.

Golden eyes.

Black hair.

A calm face hiding terrifying darkness beneath it.

Kevin.

And then there was, Kevin.
