The Beautiful CEO's Personal Mad Doctor

Chapter 136: Chapter 136: Playing Along

Hu Shishi didn’t waste any words, promising directly, ”The helicopter will be there within fifteen minutes!”

”Thanks, Sister Shishi!”

”There’s no need for thanks between us.”

Hu Shishi hung up the phone decisively.

Cheng Yuan turned his head to look at the Little Mo President and the other fishermen. Whoever his gaze fell upon would subconsciously lower their head, not daring to meet his eyes.

Cheng Yuan raised his finger and pointed at the Little Mo President. ”Mengyao, how should we handle him?”

Wu Mengyao frowned. ’The proper procedure would be to bring him back to the Patrol Bureau, but given my current situation, even if I did, he’d just be handed over to Pan Guang. Within two days, he’d have an ”accident.”’

’Am I really going to let this vicious criminal walk free?’

Seeing Wu Mengyao hesitate, Cheng Yuan said in a low voice, ”The special ops team will be here in a bit. We’ll have them take him away.”

”Okay!”

Fifteen minutes later, a thunderous roar filled the air as an attack helicopter sped toward them.

WHIR! WHIR!

The attack helicopter hovered over the edge of the dock, and ten or so fully-equipped Warriors disembarked.

The scene on the dock was gruesome, but the Warriors didn’t even flinch. Clearly, for them, this was a minor situation.

The leader, a captain, scanned the area and asked in a deep voice, ”Which one of you is Mr. Cheng?”

Cheng Yuan replied calmly, ”I’m Cheng Yuan.”

Led by the captain, the Warriors marched up to Cheng Yuan, stopped, and snapped to a crisp, unified military salute.

”Mr. Cheng, we are here on orders and await your command!”

Cheng Yuan returned the salute and gave his orders directly. ”Leave a few men here. Watch these fishermen—especially him. He just killed two of them!”

”Sir!”

”The rest of you, get on the helicopter with me. Our target is that large fishing vessel up ahead!”

”Sir!”

At the captain’s command, four Warriors broke off, aiming the black muzzles of their rifles at the fishermen, who were scared into absolute silence.

”Mr. Cheng, after you.”

Cheng Yuan gave a slight nod and boarded the helicopter with Wu Mengyao.

WHIR! WHIR!

As the helicopter took off, Wu Mengyao’s eyes widened. ’Isn’t Cheng Yuan from a normal family? How can he summon an attack helicopter so easily?’

’All this time, I thought that marrying Cheng Yuan would mean I was marrying down. Only now do I realize that I’m the one who would be marrying up!’

The attack helicopter was much faster than the fishing boat. In just ten minutes, it had caught up to the *Jiangbo No.* and was circling overhead.

The captain grabbed a megaphone and bellowed, ”Fishing boat below, stop your vessel for inspection immediately! This is Dragon Flame Warrior Han Jiang!”

The boat instantly descended into chaos. Old Mo scrambled to call Bai Jiangbo.

”Boss, we’re in trouble! There’s an attack helicopter ordering us to stop for inspection! Should we open fire?”

’An attack helicopter?’

Bai Jiangbo’s scalp went numb. He roared in fury, ”Open fire?! Are you fucking insane?! Are you trying to start a rebellion? Hide Zhu Wenhu! And if it comes to it... you know what to do!”

”Yes, Boss!”

Panicked, Bai Jiangbo immediately dialed Teng Qingshan’s number to report the incident.

Teng Qingshan was furious. He found Xiong Jianyun, the Director of the Luocheng Armed Forces Department, and yelled, ”Old Bear, what the hell are you doing? Why did you send an attack helicopter out to sea? In winds this strong, do you have any regard for the lives of your Warriors? Order them back at once!”

Xiong Jianyun was dumbfounded. ”Sir, I never gave that order!”

”I don’t care whether you gave the order or not, stop them! Immediately! If this thing gets any bigger, none of us will be able to contain it!”

”Yes, sir!”

Following Bai Jiangbo’s orders, Old Mo didn’t dare make a reckless move. He hurried to the main cabin, grabbed Zhu Wenhu, and rushed down to the bilge. He shoved Zhu Wenhu into a large crate near the waste discharge port.

’If the Warriors search this area, I’ll shove him into the sea without a second thought!’

Meanwhile, the heavy equipment was also being hastily dismantled.

The *Jiangbo No.* slowly ground to a halt. The helicopter couldn’t land on it, however, and could only drop a rope ladder. Han Jiang said in a deep voice, ”Mr. Cheng, I’ll go first.”

Cheng Yuan didn’t object. ”Alright.”

Han Jiang was incredibly agile. He descended the rope ladder with practiced speed, and when he was still a meter from the deck, he leaped the rest of the way, landing squarely on the boards.

The first mate, Shi Kai, had already gathered all the crew members, indicating their willingness to cooperate with the inspection.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

The Warriors descended one by one. Once on deck, they held the rope ladder steady. ”Mr. Cheng, you can come down now. We’ve got the ladder; it’s not shaking too much.”

Cheng Yuan grinned. Like a gecko scaling a wall, he practically flowed down the rope ladder with startling speed.

While still three meters from the deck, Cheng Yuan let go and dropped, landing perfectly steady. The move startled the Warriors!

It was a windy day, after all, and the rope ladder was still swaying and bucking wildly!

The Warriors all stared at Cheng Yuan with expressions of pure admiration.

’No wonder the captain told us to obey Mr. Cheng’s orders. He must be one of those monsters from Dragon Flame Headquarters.’

Wu Mengyao was much more cautious, but she too made a steady landing.

Cheng Yuan steadied Wu Mengyao with one hand, using the opportunity to activate his Double Pupil. Unseen by anyone, he used his X-ray Vision to scan the entire ship, instantly locking onto Zhu Wenhu’s location!

A cold smirk touched Cheng Yuan’s lips. ’These guys are good at hiding things. Stashing Zhu Wenhu near the waste discharge port... I guess they’re ready to dispose of him?’

’In that case, I’ll have to play along!’

’Only after experiencing true despair, after truly dying once, will Zhu Wenhu finally talk.’

Cheng Yuan turned his head, scanning the crew. ”Who’s in charge here?”

The first mate, Shi Kai, shuffled forward with a fawning expression. ”That would be me.”

”Tell me, where is this man hidden?”

Shi Kai put on a blank look. ”He looks... unfamiliar. I’ve never seen him before!”

”Think hard,” Cheng Yuan said, leaning in. ”Keep your voice down. Just tell me.”

As he spoke, Cheng Yuan leaned his ear toward Shi Kai’s mouth.

Shi Kai whispered, ”I really have never seen him.”

Cheng Yuan grinned and announced loudly, ”What’s that? In a crate in the bilge? Got it!”

Hearing this, the expression of Old Mo’s confidant, Old Jiang, darkened. ’That Shi Kai... he’s a damn snitch! I’m going to make him pay for this later!’

Old Jiang quickly sent Old Mo a text: ”Boss, the Stone lit a lamp. The whole ship’s bright.”

Shi Kai was startled, too. ’I didn’t say a thing! How did this kid know?’

”Let’s go! He’s in the bilge! We’re going to get him!”

Led by Cheng Yuan, the Warriors rushed into the inner cabins. Cheng Yuan deliberately took a few wrong turns, giving Old Mo time to make his move.

Old Mo’s phone suddenly buzzed. He pulled it out, read the message, and his face changed completely.

’Dammit!’

’That bastard Shi Kai... he sold me out!’

’And to think I trusted him so much I made him first mate!’

CLICK. Old Mo fastened the lock on the large wooden crate. Then, with all his might, he began dragging it toward the waste discharge port.

Startled, Zhu Wenhu began pounding on the inside of the crate. ”Old Mo, what are you doing?”

”The boss said only dead men keep secrets! Rest in peace! I’ll take care of your wife and daughter for you!”
