Supreme Warrior in the City

The Heavenly Sect and the First God are somewhat different. This Heavenly Sect is deceitful and extremely despicable in its actions.

During Ancient Times, many Heavenly Warriors of the Human Clan fell for his schemes.

Among them, the Eternal Divine Emperor was once almost killed by him, had it not been for the intervention of the Female Sword Saint, who saved the Eternal Divine Emperor but perished in the process. This became the Eternal Divine Emperor’s greatest regret.

Therefore, during the final battle, the Eternal Divine Emperor gambled his life to drag the Heavenly Sect down. In the end, the Heavenly Sect encountered Qi’er, was first severely injured by the Eternal Divine Emperor, and then slain by Qi’er.

Even so, before the Heavenly Sect died, it made numerous arrangements. One of which was sending its palace, the Heavenly Sect Palace, into the World Melting Furnace.

He intended to use the Heavenly Sect Palace to observe the World Melting Furnace to discover its secrets. However, he ultimately failed. The owner of the World Melting Furnace discovered the Heavenly Sect Palace and annihilated the strong within it, leaving only one remnant soul hidden in the Heavenly Sect Stele, barely escaping disaster.

However, when Su Yang entered the Heavenly Sect Palace, the person in the stele was discovered, and was subsequently crushed again by the owner of the World Melting Furnace, making the Heavenly Sect Palace a truly ownerless object.

The Spiritual Energy within the Heavenly Sect Palace is incredibly powerful. The Spiritual Energy that the Heavenly Sect once plundered from the Three Thousand Great Worlds was all sealed within the Heavenly Sect Palace, indicating the abundance of Spiritual Energy here.

Now that the Heavenly Sect Palace remains in the World Melting Furnace, it benefits the Human Clan, becoming the best place for Human powerhouses to undergo seclusion for breakthroughs.

After entering the Heavenly Sect Palace, Su Yang immediately began his meditation.

Su Yang discovered that ever since his physical body transformed into the Buddhist Sect’s Undying Golden Body, his power has been advancing rapidly.

In just a few hundred years, he is about to ascend another realm. It must be noted that this is the Earth-level Realm, each step is incredibly difficult to surpass.

Su Yang sat in meditation within the Heavenly Sect for thirteen years, finally sensing the aura of the Intermediate Earth-level, successfully advancing.

Outside the Heavenly Sect, many Human powerhouses waited, and when they saw anomalies appearing above the Heavenly Sect, everyone was overjoyed. These anomalies were signs of Su Yang’s advancement.

Upon successfully advancing, Su Yang stepped out of the Heavenly Sect, greeted by a crowd offering congratulations.

Su Yang smiled and exchanged pleasantries with the crowd. This advancement was not only a boost in power but, more importantly, an elevation in status.

Although he just advanced to the Intermediate Earth-level Realm, he now possesses the ability to contend with Advanced Earth-level powerhouses.

Previously, although Su Yang was the leader of the Human Clan, his lack of power made his words less reassuring.

Now, with the successful advancement, his confidence has increased.

If he can reach the Peak of Earth-level, Su Yang could truly become the Lord of the Human Clan.

However, nobody knows how long it will take for the next advancement.

Though Su Yang himself hasn’t sensed the conditions for the next advancement, he vaguely feels it won’t take too long. For some reason, he now feels that the higher his realm, the easier it is for him to advance. This is entirely different from others’ cultivation!

After coming out of seclusion, Su Yang assembled everyone to discuss the next attack from the Guardian God.

Over a dozen years have passed, and both sides remain in recuperation. Nonetheless, after the previous defeat, the Guardian God is sure to have learned his lesson and will definitely change tactics this time.

The previous event made these Heavenly Warriors no longer underestimate the Guardian God. As a result, no one knows the approach the Guardian God will take in his next attack, prompting everyone to seek out Su Yang to observe his stance.

After listening to everyone’s analysis, Su Yang thought for a moment and suddenly asked, ”Has anyone considered that we might not have to defend passively?”

Upon hearing this, everyone present was surprised, not understanding Su Yang’s meaning. If not passive defense, then what? Could he be thinking of taking the offensive? Remember, it’s our task to guard the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet from being stolen, not to snatch others’ belongings!

”Su Alliance Leader, are you planning to attack?” one Heavenly Warrior asked incredulously.

”Is there anything wrong with that?” Su Yang countered.

Everyone looked at each other, astonished. Was Su Yang truly considering taking the offensive?

”Su Alliance Leader, that is absolutely not advisable!” another Heavenly Warrior immediately protested, ”Our main task now is to guard the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet. If we can guard it for a thousand years, our mission will be completed. We are naturally weaker than the Guardian God, and solely in defense do we have higher odds of success. However, if we take the initiative to attack, our odds decrease significantly. Moreover, what purpose would an offensive serve? Our task is to protect the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, not to seize others’ possessions. Since there’s no need to snatch their treasures, why risk taking the offensive? If we fail, we would be unable to defend, and if anything happened to the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, we’d be sinners of the Human Clan!”

Everyone nodded in agreement, aligning with the opinions of this Heavenly Warrior. After all, they couldn’t conceive any rationale for taking the offensive!

Faced with opposition and skepticism, Su Yang showed no trace of anger, calmly saying, ”Does everyone think we shouldn’t take the offensive?”

The crowd nodded, even the Eternal Divine Emperor sighed lightly and slowly nodded. He, too, found Su Yang’s idea pointless.

Su Yang instead smiled, looking at everyone, he said, ”If you all think this way, might the Guardian God think the same?”

Everyone exchanged glances, uncertain of Su Yang’s intentions.

”In other words, the Guardian God would never anticipate us launching an attack on them, right?” Su Yang continued.

”Well…” Everyone was silent for a moment, then a Heavenly Warrior nodded, ”Indeed, the Guardian God wouldn’t expect us to attack because there’s no need for us to do so!”

”That’s precisely our advantage!” Su Yang said softly, ”If we concentrate strength and take the offensive now, launching a surprise attack on several of the Guardian God’s strongholds, could we not catch them off guard and severely damage them?”

Everyone exchanged looks again, and the Eternal Divine Emperor nodded, ”Su Alliance Leader is correct, a surprise attack at this time could catch them unprepared. But the problem is, they are Earth-level powerhouses, not weaklings. How could we conduct a surprise attack on them?”
