Supreme Warrior in the City

”In seclusion?” Su Yang was surprised. Is the Queen Mother of the West so diligent in her cultivation?

”Her talent among the few of us is probably the highest, also the most likely to reach the Saint Realm,” said Nanji Immortal. ”Unfortunately, her obsession is too strong, so she has always been unable to take the final step. Moreover, she is a person with a strong desire to excel, so after the separation of the Nine Realms, she has been in seclusion almost without leaving. It seems she wants to take that final step and achieve the Saint Realm!”

”So that’s how it is!” Su Yang nodded slowly.

As they spoke, the two of them arrived above West Kunlun.

From afar, Su Yang finally understood what the saying ’the nine thousand miles of Kunlun’ really meant.

This West Kunlun truly seems like a pillar holding up the sky, towering into the clouds, and standing below, it is difficult to see its end. Its vastness is also astonishing.

The mountains are filled with vibrant colors, like an immortal realm on earth, making people reluctant to leave.

Not long after flying into Kunlun Mountain, a few people flew up from the mountain. Seeing Nanji Immortal, these people immediately bowed: ”Greetings to Nanji Immortal!”

Nanji Immortal smiled and waved, ”This is Su Yang, Su Alliance Leader from the Human World. We have come to visit my younger sister. Quickly welcome Su Alliance Leader!”

Those people looked at Su Yang in astonishment but still bowed and said, ”Welcome, Su Alliance Leader!”

Su Yang nodded with a smile, and accompanied by Nanji Immortal, landed at the Royal Hall in the mountain.

There weren’t many people in Kunlun Mountain, and they were mostly women. Most of these women had seen Nanji Immortal and were very respectful to him. When they saw Su Yang, they were all full of doubt, not knowing what position Su Yang held.

Shortly, a beautiful woman walked out of the inner hall. After saluting the two, she apologized, ”Nanji Immortal, Su Alliance Leader, I’m really sorry. Our lady is still in seclusion and cannot meet you two, please forgive us!”

Nanji Immortal wanted to speak, but Su Yang spoke first, ”It’s fine, we just came to inquire about a few matters. It’s okay if the lady is in seclusion, asking you is the same!”

”Oh?” The beautiful lady was surprised, ”I wonder what Su Alliance Leader wants to ask?”

Su Yang did not hide anything and recounted the matter concerning the Divine Master.

After listening, the beautiful lady suddenly understood and said, ”So it was him. Su Alliance Leader, this person was once a servant who joined the West Queen Mother Palace early on. However, he was extremely talented and succeeded in cultivation, making significant contributions to the Turquoise Pool. Therefore, the lady broke the rules and allowed him to cultivate in the Turquoise Pool. But, a thousand years ago, he perished in a great war, and since then, there has been no trace of him!”

”Then during his time in the Turquoise Pool, to what extent did he learn the cultivation techniques of the Turquoise Pool?” Su Yang asked, ”For instance, did he know how to control the Turquoise Pool?”

”He did not know!” the beautiful lady shook her head directly. ”The method to control the Turquoise Pool is the greatest secret of the Turquoise Pool, known only to the lady herself, no one else!”

”Is that so?” Su Yang said, ”Isn’t there an array that can replace the lady in controlling the Turquoise Pool? Those who have practiced this array also don’t know the methods of control?”

The beautiful lady glanced at Su Yang and said, ”There is an array, but no one knows who has cultivated this array. Moreover, normally, half of the people who practice the array are always by the lady’s side, never leaving her, so outsiders have no chance of knowing this array.”

A thought occurred to Su Yang; according to what the beautiful lady said, outsiders really couldn’t access this array. But then how did the Divine Master know about it?

Seeing Su Yang’s confusion, Nanji Immortal asked, ”Is there no other way to know about this array?”

”This array requires more than a hundred people to form together. Each person’s cultivation is different, and even the order and positions they form the array in are unknown to them. It’s only during the array setup that the lady will reveal the order and positions!” said the beautiful lady. ”So, in other words, apart from the lady, no one can know this array. Even if you gather these more than a hundred people, they wouldn’t be able to form this array together!”

A gleam of light flashed in Su Yang’s eyes, and if this were true, then how did the Divine Master know about this array?

Nanji Immortal also frowned. On the way, he had heard from Su Yang about how the Divine Master set up the array to control the Turquoise Pool. Now the beautiful lady claims that besides the Queen Mother of the West, no one knows the configuration method of this array. Does this mean the method was leaked by the Queen Mother herself?

If this is true, it’s shocking. Could there be some kind of connection between the Queen Mother of the West and the Divine Master?

After pondering for a moment, Nanji Immortal said, ”Go and inform the lady, tell her I have an urgent matter to discuss with her!”

The beautiful lady looked embarrassed and said in a low voice, ”Nanji Immortal, I’m truly sorry. Before entering seclusion, the lady instructed that she would not see anyone, please pardon us!”

”Not even me!?” Nanji Immortal frowned.

The beautiful lady looked extremely embarrassed and said in a low voice, ”She will not see anyone!”

Nanji Immortal’s face turned slightly cold. His reputation in the Nine Realms is substantial. He hadn’t expected the Queen Mother of the West to show such disregard.

This made him even more suspicious that there might be something wrong here?

At this moment, Su Yang took out the Jade Token of Saint Yuqing and said aloud, ”By the order of Saint Yuqing, I came to the lady to understand some matters. Please report this!”

The beautiful lady’s expression changed upon seeing the Jade Token, and she glanced at Nanji Immortal.

Nanji Immortal turned his head to one side, ignoring her, letting her handle the matter on her own.

The beautiful lady was silent for a moment, then finally gritted her teeth and said, ”Please wait a moment, I will go and report now!”

Seeing the beautiful lady walk away, Nanji Immortal angrily said, ”Friendship of tens of thousands of years, yet she won’t see me just like that. After today, she is no longer my younger sister!”

Su Yang did not speak; he felt that there was something fishy about the whole affair. Could it be that the Queen Mother of the West was also controlled by the Divine Master?

Not long after, the beautiful lady returned and said respectfully, ”The lady is at a critical moment in her seclusion and cannot emerge for the time being. However, she instructed that you two can go outside the inner chamber, and whatever the matter is, she can answer you from within!”

”She won’t even come out for this?” Nanji Immortal was taken aback, not even the Jade Token of Saint Yuqing was effective?

”I truly apologize, but if the lady were to exit seclusion now, it might affect her realm, it’s truly not suitable for her to come out!” the beautiful lady said.

Nanji Immortal wanted to say more, but Su Yang waved his hand, so he remained silent.
