Supreme Warrior in the City

”What?!” Su Yang immediately stopped and urgently asked, ”Where? Where are the clues? Where is he? How is he doing?”

The Brother Fatty Ye Wantong mentioned was Su Yang’s best friend, Fatty.

Previously, Su Yang had been trapped in the Turquoise Pool, while Fatty ventured deep into the World Melting Furnace, and no one knew where he went. Even when the Divine Master was in charge of the World Melting Furnace, he couldn’t find Fatty.

Later, Su Yang sent many people into the depths of the World Melting Furnace to search for Fatty, but they all returned empty-handed.

Now that Ye Wantong had found a clue, how could Su Yang not be excited? After all, Fatty was his best friend, his best brother, and Su Yang missed him greatly!

”I don’t know the exact location.” Ye Wantong shook her head, saying, ”I only found a piece of tattered cloth, probably torn from his clothes...”

Ye Wantong waved her hand, and a piece of tattered cloth appeared in front of Su Yang, along with an image showing the exact spot where she found it and the surrounding environment.

Su Yang carefully observed the surroundings and looked at the cloth in his hand. The piece seemed very old and almost weathered. How long has it been left there?

However, Su Yang could still recognize it was torn from Fatty’s clothing. Fatty was wearing it when he left.

”Where is this place?” Su Yang asked immediately.

”About seven days’ journey east...” Ye Wantong paused and said in a low voice, ”That’s at my speed.”

”What?” Su Yang’s eyes widened. Ye Wantong, being a Saint, had a speed exceeding a Sub-Saint’s by a hundredfold. If she flew eastward for seven days, it would take Su Yang and his group around seven hundred days, or two years, to cover that distance.

Considering Fatty’s capabilities, it might take him a hundred years to reach that spot.

Fatty had been missing for about one or two hundred years according to the World Melting Furnace’s time. But what’s puzzling is why Fatty would end up so far away, even if he were truly lost.

Normally, a missing person would search around their current location. Even if they chose a direction, how long could they persist? After running for a year without finding their way back, they’d realize the direction was wrong and change course.

Yet Fatty spent a hundred years to reach this place, making Su Yang suspect that Fatty had a purpose. Otherwise, why would he run in one direction for so long?

But the question remains: What is Fatty’s purpose? Why did he choose this direction? Could he have discovered something?

”I’ve searched within a range of ten thousand miles around and found no other traces.” Ye Wantong said, ”There were no special circumstances nearby, and no other traces could be found.”

Su Yang frowned. Honestly, he was worried before if Fatty had encountered an accident in the World Melting Furnace, like stumbling upon a Dead City or some powerful beasts, meeting an unfortunate end there.

But now, seeing this piece of cloth and learning how far Fatty had traveled, Su Yang was less worried.

Fatty must be heading towards something, and judging by his connections with the valley, it seems his fortuitous encounters in the World Melting Furnace are much stronger than the average person’s. Su Yang even feels that the opportunities Fatty could get there wouldn’t be any less than Ye Wantong’s.

So, despite not finding further traces of Fatty, Su Yang doesn’t believe Fatty is in any danger. Perhaps Fatty has indeed found a great opportunity.

”Don’t worry about this for now!” Su Yang said, ”Let’s wait a bit longer. If we can find his traces so far away, it means he’s probably still alive. He might be hiding somewhere cultivating, and one day, he’ll come out when he’s done with his cultivation!”

Ye Wantong nodded slowly, thinking the same. After all, it’s too illogical for Fatty to have run so far.

After bidding farewell to Ye Wantong, the group entered the Endless Starry Sky to train again.

This time, with Long Qiu leading the way, it was much more convenient.

Long Qiu, after all, grew up in the Endless Starry Sky as a Demon Beast and now, tamed by Su Yang, obediently led the group on hunts, allowing Su Yang and his companions to take down quite a few Sub-Saint Beasts.

Of course, Su Yang suspected Long Qiu might be settling private grudges. Some Sub-Saint Beasts seemed very angry upon encountering it, ignoring Su Yang’s group and roaring to fight Long Qiu, suggesting there might have been previous animosity.

Su Yang didn’t concern himself with the private feuds between the Sub-Saint Beasts. Hunting them was the primary goal. As Ye Wantong mentioned before, Saints from other realms had visited the Human World several times to discuss opening the World Melting Furnace. Meaning, Su Yang and the others had limited time left to hunt as many Sub-Saint Beasts as possible to gather more resources for the Human World.

This time, although Su Yang’s group didn’t achieve as much as before, they still hunted many Sub-Saint Beasts. They collected the bodies of these beasts, preparing to return to the Nine Realms, as their time in the Endless Starry Sky was enough.

While packing up to withdraw, an unexpected situation occurred in the third region. It seemed the demon beasts there had been provoked, frantically escaping. When Su Yang’s group arrived, many demon beasts even charged at them, as if in a riot.

Su Yang and his group were perplexed, unsure of the situation. However, the beasts at this level no longer held much significance for them.

They easily dealt with these demon beasts, leaving two Demon Beast Kings behind. Su Yang released Long Qiu to inquire about the situation.

Long Qiu only asked a couple of questions before panicking and quickly transmitted to Su Yang, ”It’s... it’s Beast Tamers...”

”Beast Tamers?!” Su Yang’s expression changed slightly. Hearing about Beast Tamers at this moment was definitely not a good sign.

”What’s happening with the Beast Tamers?” Su Yang asked in a deep voice.

”Two Beast Tamers have arrived here, capturing demon beasts everywhere in this area. Already... already thousands of demon beasts have been taken...” Long Qiu replied.

”What?!” Su Yang’s expression changed drastically. Thousands of demon beasts captured by the Beast Tamers—what are they planning?

Recalling the previous incident with the beasts on that planet, Su Yang had a foreboding feeling.
